És la segona que em roben. La primera la vaig denunciar i no serveix per res
Només una vegada pq no serveix de res, m'han robat 3 bicis
La policía sólo considera "robo" a partir de los 400 euros, y considera todo lo demás como "hurto"; de modo
que para los hurtos no realizan ningún tipo de acción.
No fue el robo de la bicicleta completa sino solo de una rueda y alguna otra pieza. No lo he denunciado porque
fue ayer y aún no he tenido tiempo de pasar por la comisaría
para que??

No tenía el número de bastidor ya que la bici era antigua y no conservaba esta información conmigo. Según
tengo entendido, es éste número es necesario para realizar la denuncia y poder localizar la bicicleta.
No me había apuntado el código de la bicicleta.

The situation is very poor. At the moment there is not enough parking spaces to accomodate the number of
cyclists. Added to this is frequent theft of pieces or entire bicycles. I find it hard to understand why the PRBB
does not encourage cycling. A closed space for 50 bikes is not enough.
No tenia cap identificador de la bici i era una bicicleta de més de 15 anys. No era el valor però, era el fet.
Li vaig comunicar a un agent que passejava per la vora. És evident que no haguessin fet res...
S'ha pensat mai en fer algun tipus de pàrquing en vertical o fins i tot en
alçada? en algun lateral de l'edifici. Podria formar part de l'estètica de
l'edifici i a més mostrar signes d'avantguardia en temes de sostenibilitat.
El PRBB debe garantizar un aparcamiento seguro y gratuito para sus
residentes. No vale luego decir que nos interesa la sostenibilidad y el
medio ambiente y cuando hay que invertir en estas iniciativas no se
llevan adelante a menos que la gente las pague de su bolsillo.
No entenc perquè el parking de bicicletes ha de ser gratuït. Quan vivia a
Barcelona, jo pagava el meu lloguer de parking, i no em sembla normal
tampoc reclamar que me´l pagui ningú.
Crec que l'assegurança oferta (30€/any) només hauria de ser obligatoria
en cas que l'usuari no en disposi de cap altra equivalent. Si no és així es
tracta d'una imposició no acceptable pel servei que s'ofereix.
Solo dos propuestas y en las dos el usuario tiene que pagar?? El parking
del PRBB podría disponer de plazas gratuitas de bicicletas ya que cobra
las de coche y moto a los residentes del prbb. Y no es por falta de
espacio. Las encuestas son solo en catalán e inglés? Sugiero que podrían
hacerse también en castellano.
Trobo que el que proposeu es una manera de rentar-vos les mans,
sapiguent que la majoria de la gent no acceptarà les condicions que
demaneu.
En la plaza interior sobran muchos bancos que se utilizan sólo para
fumar. ¿Por qué no sustituimos algunos por un parquing?

D´aquesta manera es fomenta el consum i no la sostenibilitat.
Si la demanada de parkings de bicis es gran degut a la
multitud de gent que traballa en el prbb i es insuficient amb
els parkings que hi ha al voltant, (ja que sempre es tenen que
aparcar dos bicis en cada lloc de parking que es una
incomoditat) suggeriria que es facin mes parkings no a ran de
carrer, sino als voltants de l´edifici. Ja era hora que despres de
10 anys i tantes queixes es comenci a moure aquest tema.

Parking my own bike shouldn't be more expensive than using
bicing. I use bicing because my bike was stolen my second
week here, from right in front of the PRBB.
No pienso pagar ni un duro por aparcar la bicicleta cuando hay
un parking enorme en el CMIMA (mi centro de trabajo) y sitio
en el PRBB. (lo del coche sería discutible) Esto debería correr
por cuenta del centro. Precarios sí, imbéciles no.
I think the best solution, or the needed solution is to have
more public bicycle parking spots next to the PRBB.
El parking es muy importante, auqnue yo ahora no tenga bici
(me la volvieron a robar). Yo he optado por bicing porque no
la puedo guardar en casa, quienes sí tengan donde dejarla de
noche ganarán en tranquilidad al usar parking más seguro
aquí.

charging a fee doesn't encourage PRBB residents to come by bike. It
would be nice to talk to the main research institutions at PRBB and ask
them to contribute somehow for their employees. This could take some
monetary burden out the individuals.

one week of parking. Probably more than 50 places are needed.
Hay preguntas mal planteadas. La segunda pregunta no contempla que
haya gente que use más de un medio de transporte (como es mi caso).
La pregunta sobre el uso de la bici propia condicionada al cambio de las
condiciones de parking no ofrece la posibilidad de que su uso sea
independiente de eso (como es mi caso, que uso bici plegable y no
dependo del aparcamiento o podría ser el caso de gente que ya usa su
bici privada para venir a trabajar y lo seguirá haciendo
independientemente de si hay cambios en las condiciones de parking).
Eso hace que en algunos casos, ciertas respuestas no tengan sentido e
introduzcan sesgo o error en los resultados de la encuesta.
Estoy de acuerdo en que el PRBB nos ofrezca una alternativa mas
segura para poder aparcar nuestras bicicletas, pero no comparto la idea
de tener que pagar de nuestro bolsillo un seguro para poder hacer uso
de ese espacio.
Me gustaría que desde el sistema de bicing libralan las estaciones más
próximas al PRBB ya que si vienes más tarde de las 9 es imposible
dejar la bici. Gracias.

secure parking space for bikes.

Any extra costs will discouragepeople from biking to work, which should be encouragedinstead as part of the sustainability and workersatisfaction efforts at the PRBB. I think that bike rackssurrounding the building (close to it) with securitycameras would be a good solution, as they woulddiscourage thieves due to the closeness to the buildingand the cameras, would be free, there would be ample space (way over 50 spots) and would not requireinsurance, as no interference with activities in the innersquare would occur. Another option would be a large bikecage on Placa Charles Darwin (after asking the city as owner for permission), which has a lot of ample unusedspace.
Molt necessari un parking de bicis pels treballadors
To allow those who have separate offices or enough spacein s shared office to bring unfolded bike using stairs. I don't use a bike because I prefer a normal bike instead of folded one but I cannot bring it to my office or parksecurely downstairs. The situation also prevents peoplefrom being and riding expensive good-quality bikes atwork.
The expenses for both parking options are quite too highfor my taste -why?
I think it's unacceptable to charge the employees for theuse of secure parking. This should be fully subsidised bythe PRBB. Besides, I can't see what security deposit is actually securing. Neither can I see the need for theprivate liability. A simple form absolving PRBB of any liability should be sufficient.
It was not clear if the options were exclusive or independent. 9.35 per month AND 50 deposit and 30 insurance. This all seems VERY expensive. It doesn't seem right the employeeshave to pay this. And space for 50 bikes is not very manyconsidering all the people working in the building.
Bicing has really improved a lot but is occasionnely very poorin availability, especially when university terms start again
A research institute dedicated to public health should offerfree bike parking facilities AND negotiate with the cityupgrading the existing bicing infrastructure: I often have to look for a bicing slot for 20 minutes - longer than it takes me to bike to the institute

I don't understand the need for a private insurance... it wouldbe nice to enable the free parking place for everybody.
It would be a better idea to have the Dutch double-deckerbicycle parking racks either in the inner square or in theunderground parking lot without requiring any privateliability insurance, we already have a social insurance.
I do not think it is acceptable for the prbb to make demandsabout people's private choices such as whether to be insuredor not.

The universe of bikers at the PRBB is quite large (well over 50 people!!)
So it is surprising that only 50 places are being considered
I don't use bicycle and that is why change in the PRBB bicycle parking
situation would not affect me, but I fully support any improvement in
PRBB bicycle parking.

Em sembla totalment insuficient el número de places de parking que
proposeu posar (50), tenint en compte el volum de gent que treballem a
l'edifici i que possiblement vindríem en bici. De la mateixa manera, em
sembla abussiu el voler cobrar més de 100 euros/any per parking segur, i
pagar aquesta assegurança a tercers que heu comentat. Sincerament,
sembla que heu fet l'enquesta per a tranquil.litzar els que volen venir en
bici i donar la sensació que heu bellugat el tema, però oferint una solució
que ja sabeu d'entrada que la gent no voldrà perquè no ens soluciona
res.

The PRBB should provide a free parking space for a lot more than 50 bikes! 50 bikes will not change anything. Also, using the BiSM is a joke, it's expensive ant they havevery little space. None of these is a real solution for thePRBB.

Aunque yo no suelo usar ningún medio de transporte para venir al CRG (solo mis piernas) es cierto que el aparcamiento de bicis se encuentra siempre muy lleno y no hay ningún tipo de seguridad, de vez en cuando se suelen ver bicis totalmente destrozadas así que entiendola preocupación de las personas que vienen a trabajar en bicicleta.

El fet de proposar un espai de 50 pàrquings per bicicletes és una
vergonya en un edifici de més de 1400 persones.
He estado en muchos otros centros de investigacion y el parking bici
estaba gratuito, simple y sin ninguna caución. Además se tendría que
explicar mejor en la encuesta porque es necesario pagar caución y
seguredad civil, y donde se pondría el parking con una mapa. Pero
gracias por preguntarnos :)
Aunque yo no vaya a usar el parking de bicicletas (vivo muy cerca y
vengo andando) me parece muy buena iniciativa ya que favorece la
movilidad sostenible y sería un incentivo para que más gente viniera
al trabajo en bicicleta.
Un total de 50 no són suficients, ni molt menys ajudarà a promoure
que la gent vingui en bicicleta. Qualsevol tipus de mesura i cost
s'hauria de suportar i integrar dins dels plans d'estalvi d'energia
d'energia del PRBB i les institucions.
Lots of people want to take their bike to work, and if I would live
further away, I would definitely want an option to take my own bike.
Especially as this is provided at all other major science institutions in
Europe and just not here. So if you really want to be "green", get
them, please!

50 places is not enough
One thing that would help those who use bicing is the turnover of
bicicles or slots in the stations around PRBB. After 8h45-9 am it is
almost impossible to park a bicycle and around 18h very hard to
find one. Thus, for me, it would be great to have the ayuntamento
putting more capacity in the stations around.
The parking parking for PRBB residents should be provided free of
cost at secure place.
all the places i previously worked had free (protected) bike parking,
even though not as many got stolen as here in BCN.

I am highly interested in a free bicycle parking for the PRBB employees,
it is a huge pity there is no such option in this survey! And 50 parking
spots seems like a joke to me -- there are so much more cycling people

Having an insurance instead of security sounds rather ridiculous. What
would that cover? Also 50 parking spaces is truly ridiculous :-)

people who work in the PRBB come by bike.
I think that 40 parking for 1400 workers ( as you can see in PRBB
webpage), is not enough. You should reconsider the options in the
question that if you want it, but don't agree with the parking places (
only 40) and also the price. Otherwise we will have the bias of all the
people that want these option but they don't agree with the number of
parking or the price
Crec que l'aparcament de les bicicletes ha de ser gratuït, no estic
disposat a pagar res per aparcar la bici i encara menys aquests preus.
Crec que el PRBB hauría de promoure uns habits de vida saludables i un
transport responsable i respectuós amb el medi ambient, això es fa
facilitant-lo i en aquest cas implica tenir un lloc segur i gratuït on
aparcar. 50 places per bicis em sembla extremadament poc.

Only 50 places for the whole PRBB? and with a fee? and with a
mandatory insurance? I see that someone is getting the benefits, but
for sure not the bike riders!! How could this proposal could ever be
considered a "solution" to the problem? (besides, the option of
private parking has always been there, so nothing new!)

We should encourage people to come by bike and need to take away
any barrier. Furthermore we should better and more shower

Encara que jo no pugui usar la bicicleta, per la distáncia al meu
domicili, crec que disposar d'un aparcament "segur" serà un servei
rellevant per moltes persones amb circumstàncies diferents.
Volem aparcament gratuit per bicicletes al recinte del PRBB i

Tot i que per circumstàncies d'on visc no utilitzaria la meva
bicicleta personal per venir a la feina, crec que en un centre com
el PRBB hi hauria d'haver espai gratuït per aparcar bicicletes de

La responsabilitat ha de ser de l'Ajuntamnet de Barcelona, no
del PRBB, el parc només ha de ser un interlocutor de pes. Ser
una ciutat sostenible no ha de ser responsabilitat únicament

The insurance you propose is too expensive! The costs have to
be reduced compared to pubblic transportation, otherwise
nobody will use the bike anyway...
More space for normal bicycle parking. Some days there is no

NO entiendo por qué sería necesario tener un seguro y pagar una
fianza para disponer de un parking de bicis medianamente
protegido. Tal vez hace falta más información para
entenderlo...Realmente es tan complicado encontrar soluciones
reales, sin tantas concesiones por parte de los usuarios? En otros
centros que he visto en Europa no piden estas cosas. Además, no
son mucho más grandes que le patio del PRBB, y caben más de
300 bicis. Gracias por intentarlo, pero me temo que un parquing
para 50 bicis es irisorio. Y hacernos pagar 10 euros al mes para
usar un parquing para bicis también es irisorio y la experiencia
dice que no es una solución, ya que no es nueva y no ha
funcionado. La opción del parquing de 50 bicis permite aplazar el
problema y tal vez callar a la gente por un tiempo, pero no
soluciona el problema.

I use my own bike and carry two heavy locks to secure it in front
of PRBB. Even if it is heavy rain in the afternoon I have to use the
bike to get home, since I fear that the bike would get stolen over
night. Therefore I appreciate the initiative to provide secure
parking. However, I think it should be a free service, increasing
WORK-LIFE balance, health, and fun for all employees hosted in
the PRBB.

I think the parking of motorcycles needs addressing so they are not
taking all of the side walk
I think parking at PRBB for bicycle should be safe and free to promote
the use of bicycles (more exercise, less contamination, etc.). 50 spaces
is too little: less than 150 is not a serious answer to that issue.
A free cycle parking would be ideal, separated from the underground
car parking.
I think that as part of the green initiatives of the PRBB, it should

por eso estoy a favor de un parking vigilado pero la idea era que fuera
gratis para los residentes! tenemos una plaza estupenda donde se
podrian colocar los soportes para las bicicletas
Bé, que no es roben bicis senceres només sinó parts de la mateixa
bici que a vegades et pot costar més remplaçar que comprar-ne una
de nova, ho dic perquè això si que m'ha passat i en el qüestionari
només es referix a robatori de bici sencera. La opció d'aparcar la bici
a la planta -3 no em sembla gens viable perquè, per una banda les
rampes dels pàrkings no són gens còmodes i la majoria de gent
desisitiria al 2n dia. A banda, jo només un dia he volgut aparcar allà
la bici, m'havia deixat les claus dels candaus a casa i no em van
assegurar que la bici estigués segura allà dins i no em van voler
proporcionar (ni pagant) un segon candau per poder deixar la bici
"més tranquil·la"... És a dir, el parking hauria de canviar la forma
d'acollir bicis també perquè fos més accessible - deixant de banda el
tema rampes.
