New Mexico Baptist Disaster Relief is still going strong as we have recent evidence. The team set up the feeding unit at the free vi- sion, dental and medical clinic both in Clovis and Roswell. The team set up to serve over 1,000 meals for the vision, dental and medical personal that provided the clinic as well as the Disaster Relief team. The team also pro- vided parking attendants for the event beginning at 3am. I must say that it was cold in the park- ing lot but the teamwork was dynamic. Someone used to say there was no disaster until I got there and no relief until I left. I hope we all can bring relief in Jesus name. If you want to join the Dis- aster Relief team there is a plan to have training soon. Just let us know if you are ready. Special thanks, goes to the entire Disaster Relief team that braved the cold and provided excellent example of serving a cup of coffee and meal in Jesus name. Also a BIG THANKS goes to Elaine Williford for lead- ing both weekend events as the leader as the “White Hat”. I found following Elaine’s order to be delightful.
