Thirteen years ago, I re-ceived training for Disaster Re-lief and I have been blessed inso many ways as a result. NewMexico Baptist Disaster Reliefis still going strong as we haverecent evidence. The team setup the feeding unit at the free vi-sion, dental and medical clinicboth in Clovis and Roswell. Theteam set up to serve over 1,000meals for the vision, dental andmedical personal that providedthe clinic as well as the DisasterRelief team. The team also pro-vided parking attendants for theevent beginning at 3am. I mustsay that it was cold in the park-ing lot but the teamwork wasdynamic.
Someone used to say therewas no disaster until I got thereand no relief until I left. I hope
we all canbring relief inJesus name.If you want tojoin the Dis-aster Reliefteam there is a plan to havetraining soon. Just let us know ifyou are ready.
Special thanks, goes to theentire Disaster Relief team thatbraved the cold and providedexcellent example of serving acup of coffee and meal in Jesusname. Also a BIG THANKSgoes to Elaine Williford for lead-ing both weekend events as theleader as the “White Hat”. Ifound following Elaine’s order tobe delightful.

great things are happening at
Sivells and inlow Baptist Camp
& Retreat Centers this summer!
There are a variety of “emphasis” camps, including some newones. These are wonderful places to escape the daily grind of life, ex-perience God in His creation and hear Him speak. The woodsy sur-roundings offer a beautiful place to worship, fellowship, relax and learn. You can take hikes under the cool pines, sit around a campfire on acool evening or sing songs of worship and praise inside the chapelwith other believers.
Make plans now to take advantage of these great facilities! A lot ofwork has been done at the camps to make them even safer and moreenjoyable this year.
it’s time to reserve the
Block party and/or Bounce
House ministry trailers for
your church functions and
block parties!
