The Postbaccalaureate Studies Program offers qualified individuals with bachelor’s degrees the opportunity to take Columbia University courses for graduate school preparation or academic advancement.

Working with advisers, each student develops a plan of study tailored to his or her background and academic goals. University undergraduate and graduate courses in over 50 subject areas provide a range of options for study.

The program is especially appropriate for ambitious college graduates who would like to pursue graduate work at top universities and need to strengthen their applications. Advising on course selection and graduate school applications helps students prepare for competitive graduate programs.
