One Shot reading for Multiple codes

The greatest advantage of Colorbit is reading multiple codes simultaneously. Traditional barcodes and 2D barcodes are read one by one basically, while a number of Colorbit can be recognized in one shot. Above photo shows that many office files which is 5mm width are set in the 800mm width bookshelf. Each file has the colorbit tag attached on the spine. One shot reading function of colorbit works to read all colorbit tags (256 files) in the image simultaneously. Comparing with one by one reading of barcode, this function gives huge impact on efficiency of checking files . Inventory control work becomes much easier using Colorbit.

It is easy to find a target with Colorbit, since it can read multiple codes simultaneously ,and positions of the codes are shown on a screen. As the search result appears on the screen as actually seen, Colorbit is user intuitive. The good examples are the use for controlling a large number of documents, files, or CD&DVD cases.

Blurred Distorted

Distorted, blurred, or faded images are readable

Even rough images can still be read. Colorbit is readable even if it is distorted, folded or blurred. Further, since Colorbit needs only three colors, the recognizable range of those colors is wide. Therefore, it is another advantage that Colorbit has less influence from color degradation and light variation.

Colorbit can be read even such small area as less than 1mm width. Slender area where a tag cannot be attached like the spine of document file or magazines is now applicable with Colorbit. When putting Colorbit on them many inventory of them can be controlled with one shot of camera capturing. This method can be used for not only narrow files and paper goods like envelope but the edge of metal goods, glasses and plastic materials also. The edge of the plastic card and the edge of the keys are good other examples. Like that its applicable applications are wide range. At the hospital Colorbit is already used to control various medicines.

High cost special device is not required. The camera installed in smart phones or tablet device does work for reading without problem. For example iPhone5S can read 100 Colorbit at a time. Such high cost special device like RFID is not requires. Further application development is not required any more. “Irotoru” platform enables customers to use Colorbit immediately without such software. For industrial use network cameras or machine vision cameras can be used. According to the actual use of customers the development kit for iOS, Android, Linux, Windows are prepared.
