Rosato Toscana IGT CASTELLO DI BOSSI (Tuscany)

WINE DESCRIPTION TASTING NOTESCastello di Bossi Rosato is sourced from the Corbaia vineyard,which was planted more than 40 years ago to 70% Sangioveseand 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Every year, during the process ofmaking red Corbaia wine, 5-7% of the juice is "bled" from theCorbaia tanks rendering the remaining juice more concentrated.

Varietal composition: 70% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon

Pale salmon in color, Castello di Bossi Rosato bears resemblanceto the rosé wines of southern France. On the nose, however, itimmediately asserts its Italian heritage with aromas of dustyearth and Mediterranean herbs layed over fresh cherries and tartcranberry. On the palate the wine shows a defined structure withbright acidity and brilliant depth of flavor. The finish is long andbalanced.

WINE DESCRIPTION TASTING NOTESAltesino's Rosso Toscana is made from 80% Sangiovese and 20%Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that are hand-harvestedfrom estate vineyards. The grapes are fermented in stainlesssteel followed by six to eight months of maturation beforebottling. Crafted for accessibility, the fresh fruitiness ofAltesino's Rosso Toscana is ready to be enjoyed upon release.

Varietal composition: 80% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot, CabernetSauvignon

Rosso has a vibrant ruby red color and inviting aromas of ripeberries and forest fruits. Incredibly supple on the palate, withexcellent body and balanced structure, Rosso di Altesino is anexcellent value.

I Sodi di San Niccolò Toscana IGT CASTELLARE (Tuscany)

WINE DESCRIPTION TASTING NOTESFull-bodied, with firm yet fine-grained tannins, I Sodi di SanNiccolò is a rich and elegant wine that offers aromas of ripecherries, dark berries, and currants which are complemented bynotes of vanilla, leather, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is fulland rich with high aging potential.

Florentine ‘’tagliata’’ steak with green peppercorns and rosemary.

I Sodi di San Niccolò was created in the early 1980s to demonstratethat native grapes could produce a wine with all the power and graceof a Super Tuscan. The name "I Sodi" refers to land that is difficult totill (the grapes must be hand-harvested), and "San Niccolò" is anabandoned church on the Castellare property. This wine capturesboth the rich history of the vineyard as well as the Sangioveto grape'senormous potential.

Varietal composition: 85% Sangioveto, 15% Malvasia Nera
