The White Background in the middle stands for our humble beginnings when a few noble, caring and dedicated souls established this college on 15th August 1956 in order to address and cater to the needs of the less privileged sections of society for whom higher education and the world of knowledge would
have practically remained out of bounds. This colour also stands for simplicity, purity, transparency and clarity of thought achieved through knowledge.
The Lamp in the white circle represents the illuminating, guiding and purging light og knowledge, wisdom and truth that will banish/dispel fear, doubt, ignorance, parochialism, bigotry and prejudice.
