The following is additional information for the B.F.A. Studio Art major:

• The BFA degree in Studio Art is considered open admission; therefore, a portfolio review is not required. Prospective students need only complete the application for the University of South Florida and be accepted.

• Students pursuing the BFA degree in Studio Art are not required to fulfill the foreign language exit requirements prior to graduation if they have completed 2 years of the same foreign language in high school.

• The minimum grades for Studio Art major courses is a “C” grade.

• Students pursuing the BFA degree in Studio Art must acquire at least a 3.25 GPA in their major courses to graduate.

• Students in the BFA degree who do not maintain a 3.25 GPA in their major courses will graduate with a BA degree in Studio Art.

• Fifty percent of the Studio Art major courses must be taken at the University of South Florida.
