A Blessing for the weekend and the holidays:
May all that is unforgiven in you, Be released.
May your fears yield Their deepest tranquillities.
May all that is unlived in you, Blossom into a future, Graced with love.

CONGRATULATIONS MRS COOPER!
Congratulations goes to one of our teachers, Belinda Cooper, who is an exceptional role model to our students as a ‘lifelong learner.’ Mrs. Cooper is not only our Leader of Learning for Languages, but is also the coordinator of our Duke of Edinburgh programme here at Sacred Heart, and she recently completed the NZQA Level 5 Bush Instructor qualification. This was the product of 15 long months of incredibly hard work, made up of many hours of both field and book work. This qualification will benefit our Duke of Ed students immensely and we are so grateful to have Mrs Cooper’s expertise and dedication to this programme.
YEAR 10 DRAMA CLASSES
This term our Year 10 Drama classes have been learning about the performance features of Clowning. They created scenarios and performed them to Marian Year 1 and 2 classes.
Proverbs 31: 25 is a part of our school vision for our students. Talei Kelsall and Milise Siale used this scripture in their work on the Dignity of the Human Person in Year 11 RE and have translated this into Samoan and Tongan.
