Les collections de foutas sont fabriquées en Inde du Sud, dans le Tamil Nadu, par une unité de tissage semi-artisanale avec qui Karawan développe ses collections exclusives, en coton biologique.
Mr Visu emploient une trentaine de personnes dans des conditions de travail, de salaire et de réglementation conformes aux normes du BIT. Les métiers à tisser traditionnels cotoient la filature. Pour soutenir cette entreprise familiale, les commandes sont préfinancées à 50 % par Karawan-authentic.
