Collage. While we are staying safe at home, we can still be creative and use our imaginations - even indoors! Let’s imagine a happy environment where we can relax during these unusual times.

Join us in making a collage of this special place, using whatever supplies you can find at home. Through this activity, we can discover how colors, textures and shapes can inspire a peaceful, calm and creative experience.

The inspiration.

Loitering is delightful was an exhibition at the LAMAG that opened in 2019. The exhibition presented the work of ten Los Angeles artists who responded in varying ways to the joyful possibilities of slowing down. Loitering is delightful encouraged visitors to delight in dawdling and showed that the gallery — a public space with free admission — was a safe place to sit, look, think and experience the artworks in a participatory manner.

Artists included: Milano Chow, Lauren Davis Fisher, Ishi Glinsky, David Horvitz, Dylan Mira, Joshua Ross, Asha Schechter, Cauleen Smith, Lani Trock and Megan Whitmarsh.
