SNAPCHATSnapchat users can take photos, record videos, add text and drawings, and send them to a controlled list of recipients. These sent photographs and videos are known as “Snaps”. Users set a time limit for how long recipients can view their Snaps (as of March 2015, the range is from 1 to 10 seconds), after which they will be hidden from the recipient’s device and deleted from Snapchat’s servers.

Geofilters allow Snapchat users to share where they are through filter overlays. They are designed to be in specific neighborhoods and special locations. Geofilters can also be designed for temporary use during special events.

1. Designed filters for various locations in the Midwest region of the United States. A few of the locations included Lawrence, KS, Manhattan, KS, St. Louis, MO, Kansas City, MO, Potomac, MD, Washington, D.C., ect. These were accomplished by researching these locations, reviewing trends via social media and designing these filters using Adobe products.
