General Recommendations
• Young Men’s presidency (advisers) serve as scout leaders and assistant advisers serve as assistant scout leaders. This avoids the confusion and lack of cohesiveness caused by different adult leaders for each type of activity.
• Quorum leaders serve as scout leaders. This avoids the confusion and lack of cohesiveness caused by different quorum leaders for each type of activity.
• Appointed Bishop Counselor responsible for overseeing the YM organization also serves as the scout commissioner. This streamlines communication and ties together the oversight of the quorums, the YM organization, and scouting.
