In 2012, Cogent participated in the Port Design Competition co-organised by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore
and Singapore Maritime Institute. We edged out over 900 participants and 56 submitted proposals from 25 countries
to be one of the top 7 finalists. We were awarded US$100,000 and moved on to compete in the final judging.
The acclaimed entry was our integrated multi-storey port design that is based on the Cogent 1. Logistics Hub. This
one-stop solution for maritime container port logistics incorporates port operations as well as supporting services
such as container freight station and shipping container depot within the same site.
