The opening ceremony is a pre-fair celebration complete with

entertainment, political speeches, Hermes Award presentation,

and reception. The 2011 partner country was France.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel joined by Prime Minister

of the French Republic H.E. Francois Fillon as the official

representative of the HANNOVER MESSE Partner Country.

Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) has defended the launch

of the Hannover Fair, the nuclear moratorium in the federal

government and called for a rapid expansion of renewable

energies

“If we want to reach the age of renewables, we must have

courage for new thinking and new ways,” Merkel said on Sunday

evening at the opening of the world’s largest industrial exhibition

in the Lower Saxony state capital. The development of wind,

solar, water and bio-energy demand, but must also be prepared

to develop the necessary infrastructure in the networks.

Energy technology and improving energy efficiency in industrial

processes are the focal points of this year’s Hannover Fair. From

Monday to Friday, more than 6,500 exhibitors from 65 countries

show at the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover their new products.

核辐射危险已经波及到了没有直接受灾的国家。全世界

市交通基本摆脱化石燃料。德国联邦政府希望通过发展

该计划指出，在电能存储技术方面，要将锂离子电池的

研发作为存储技术研发重点，争取在《锂离子电池 2020

计划》和其他能源研究专项的范围内，从根本上推进第

四代高性能锂电池的研发。

在汉诺威工博会上，德国联邦经济和技术部以“创

More than 20 Companies and organizations which

participate in R&D projects of Federal Ministry of

economy and technology demonstrate their new

projects in Messe.

Two major topics of Hannover Messe: Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles

technology. Hannover Messe assembled many fields

like industrial products, service and R&D technology in

13 international theme pavilions. This year's Hannover

Messe partner country is France, whose exhibition theme

is "innovation for sustainable development".

里面，一群背着“TectoYou”标志书包的年轻人总是分外的惹眼，

他们通常以团体的形式来到馆内一些著名公司开辟的展台区域参

观，动手操作，亲身体验，对可能陌生的工业领域有了的感性的认知。

可以确定，这些年轻人是学生。在中国展会中，学生并不是一

个很受欢迎的群体，因为他们不能为展商带来直接的价值，所以厂

商也不是很情愿为学生进行普及教育，而在汉诺威，这样一个工业

博览会也能为学生或学校提供丰富的教育资源，对他们的知识丰富

还是对工业领域的认识都有一定的帮助，这点也是值得中国的展会

Together with the German government, the organizers of HANNOVER MESSE are launching

TectoYou, a long-term initiative aimed at getting young people interested in technology and

encouraging them to pursue careers in engineering and other technical fields.

As a HANNOVER MESSE initiative aimed at the younger generation, TectoYou provides an

initial idea of the various careers on offer in the technology sector, with guided tours serving

as a valuable touchpoint between young people and industrial companies. As the world's

largest technology event, HANNOVER MESSE affords the ideal environment for vocation-based

networking between schools and industry.

TectoYou, now into its fifth year, is designed for schoolchildren who are interested in working

in the industrial sector and is aimed specifically at school-leavers from vocational schools and

general-education schools as well as new students. TectoYou events are attended by school

classes and student groups from across Germany, who arrive at HANNOVER MESSE in coaches

sponsored by partner companies. During the five days of the HANNOVER MESSE, the TectoYou

program offers guided tours of selected stands and one-to-one contact with the representatives

of exhibiting companies. The groups are assisted throughout the day by specially trained guides

who coordinate with the accompanying teachers to ensure that participants benefit from high-

quality, useful information and experiences. TectoYou tours start and finish at Pavilions 33, 34 and

35 at the Exhibition Grounds.

The world's foremost technology event, HANNOVER

MESSE 2011, ended with the best outcome in 10

years. "This year's event in Hannover has given industry

a real boost, powering it up to drive the economic

recovery," commented Deutsche Messe Managing

Board Chairman Dr. Wolfram von Fritsch at the end-of-

show press conference in Hannover on Friday, April 8.

"This HANNOVER MESSE has generated even more

momentum for industry as the force behind the economic

upswing." Over 6,500 businesses from 65 countries

came to Hannover to display their solutions.

Positive economic indicators meant that exhibitors had

arrived with high expectations. But according to Wolfram

von Fritsch, HANNOVER MESSE 2011 "even surpassed

those high expectations - with the right themes, over

5,000 innovations on exhibit, and significantly greater

international participation".

'Smart Efficiency' as the keynote theme for HANNOVER

MESSE 2011 was the common thread running through

the majority of this year's displays, and was also

addressed in many debates and forums featured at the

event. "A total of over 60 forums drew greater attendance

than ever before 30% up on 2009 as the most recent

show of comparable scope. This further consolidates

HANNOVER MESSE's position as the world's leading

platform for technology and knowledge transfer."

HANNOVER MESSE tubocharged industry revs up the recovery machine

Energy and automation topics were at the very heart

of visitor interest. "Major emphasis was placed on

the energy mix for the future, as well as on energy

efficiency. The message from Hannover is very clear:

There are promising ways of saving energy right now,

and we can do this faster than the time it takes to

build new plants. HANNOVER MESSE has shown

that industry is already able to provide the efficient

technologies needed; now it's a matter of putting them

to work. Experts estimate the total savings potential

at around 30 percent," von Fritsch noted, adding that

each of the sectors covered by HANNOVER MESSE

had profited greatly from concerted efforts to bring the

energy topic to the forefront of interest over the past

several years.

HANNOVER MESSE 2011 attracted a total of well over

230,000 visitors. This represents growth of 10 to 15

percent over the comparable 2009 event. Some 60,000

of these visitors were from abroad, which is over a third

more than in 2009. "Our foreign visitors, alone, would

have filled over 150 jumbo jets," said a delighted von

Fritsch. "Attendance was up from every country, thus

bringing tangible benefit to exhibitors in every sub-section

of the event." One in every three visitors was a member

of top management, marking a 20 percent increase in

this category.

The HERMES AWARD is one of the most prestigious

international prizes for technological achievement, and

this year's winner is Krautzberger GmbH based in Eltville.

The company received the award for an innovative steam

spraying system.

With this technology, atomization is effected by steam

instead of the more conventional compressed air.

Krautzberger's adoption of steam as the atomizing

medium for paints, adhesives, glazes and varnishes is a

world first. The use of steam results in a smoother, more

even coating with reduced overspray, giving a higher-

quality finish combined with significant savings in coating

material (up to 25 per cent) and energy consumption (up

to 50 per cent). At the same time operating personnel

As industry calls for closer collaboration, Microsoft

launches Reference Architecture Framework for Discrete

Manufacturers Initiative to accelerate cloud computing,

improved collaboration across value chain.

New technology advancements available in a digital

infrastructure, such as cloud computing and social

computing, are transforming manufacturing industry

value chains, according to a Microsoft Corp. survey

released today at HANNOVER MESSE 2011 in Hannover,

Germany.

The survey results revealed a need to better integrate

collaboration tools with business systems (47.4 percent)

and to improve access to unstructured data and

processes (36.2 percent). Almost 60 percent see an

industrywide collaboration that includes manufacturing

products and services providers, IT providers, systems

integrators and in-house business analysts as most

capable of bringing about these improvements.

Cloud Computing Survey FindingsThe Microsoft Discrete Manufacturing Cloud Computing

Survey 2011, which polled 152 IT and business decision-

makers within automotive, aerospace, high-tech and

electronics, and industrial equipment manufacturing

companies in Germany, France and the United States,

found that the biggest benefit of cloud computing is

lowered cost of optimizing infrastructure, according to

48.3 percent of respondents. This was followed closely

by efficient collaboration across geographies (47.7

percent) and the ability to respond quickly to business

demands (38.4 percent).

“The survey shows current cloud computing initiatives

are targeted at cost reduction, but a growing number

of forward-looking companies are exploring new and

innovative business capabilities uniquely delivered

through the cloud,” Ravi said. “Manufacturers are

exploring ways to improve product design with social

product development, enhance visibility across multiple

tiers in the value chain, and create new business models

and customer experiences based on smart devices

connecting to the cloud.”

DIRA FrameworkDevelopment of the discrete manufacturing reference

architecture will be an ongoing effort led by Microsoft,

with close collaboration by participating companies,

including industry solution vendors and systems

integrators. The initiative defines six key themes to

guide this development: natural user interfaces, role-

based productivity and insights, social business,

dynamic value networks, smart connected devices,

and secur i ty-enhanced, sca lab le and adapt ive

infrastructure.

Microsoft has developed the principles of the DIRA

Reference Architecture Framework for Discrete

Manufacturers Initiative Framework in conjunction with

the technology adoption plans and solution strategies

of its key partners. Several Microsoft partners across

mult ip le business areas in manufactur ing have

endorsed the DIRA Framework because it helps

them deliver high levels of customer value through

complementary solutions aligned with the framework.

博士接受 IIANews 专访时介绍了 WirelessHART 标准的

年的时间。而 WirelessHART 已经很明显地从标准之争

中胜出。2010 年 3 月，WirelessHART 通讯规范被国

将 HART 及 WirelessHART 技术更广泛和深入地在中国

WirelessHART, Focus on customer requirements

HART communication protocol has become a well-

established industrial standard for global intelligent

instruments. It is mainly used for onsite communication

between intel l igent instruments and control room

equipments. Based on this mature HART protocol,

WirelessHART allows users to benefit from wireless

technology quickly and easi ly whi le maintaining

consistent user experience of existing equipments,

tools, and systems. At 2011 Hannover Messe, Dr. Alex

Feng, Director of Technology Services in Asia of the

HART Communication Foundation, spoke to IIANews

and talked about advantages of the WirelessHART

standard and the latest technical advances.

"The development of wireless technology has been

delayed for at least 2 or 3 years due to a standard

war, while WirelessHART is obviously winning from the

standards arguments. In March 2010, WirelessHART

became a full international standard (IEC 62591Ed.1.0)

by international electro-technical standards Committee,

which is the world's first industrial wireless communication

technology receiving this level of international certification."

Alex highlighted the success of WirelessHART to wide

range of users that global process industry has used

more than 50 million HART devices, and above 70% of

fielddevices are connected by HART. Fully compatible

with the original instrumentation and control systems,

WirelessHART is the extension of HART, as long as it

is based on HART devices, tools, training, application

software and workflow, it can be preserved to use. This is

very important for protecting user's original investment.

Internet of things provides more opportunities for the

development of wireless technology. "Industrial Internet

of things mainly includes data collection, transmission,

and data management and analysis. Plant field instrument

equipment takes heavy responsibility of data acquisition,

while wireless instruments can be seen more and more

in industrial field application as it features no wiring

and easier operating. "Alex introduced, "safety and

reliability of the data communication is the top concern

of industrial user. Many people think that wireless is not

safe, but in fact, technical innovation makes wireless

transmissions more reliable, while Wireless HART is

based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, and the working

frequency is 2.4GHz frequency band, which can be used

worldwide without a frequency license. Despite this public

frequency band,WirelessHARTadopts direct sequence

spread spectrum and frequency hopping technology

to ensure security and reliability, and uses time division

multiple access (TDMA) synchronization and implicit

message control communication technology for network

communication. The Reliability can reach 99.999%.”

When it comes to views on Chinese market, Alex

indicates that China has a relatively high acceptance

in many ways of global high technology. Today's

technological innovation of industrial automation provides

great opportunity for China to transfer from a global

manufacturing center to "Intellectual Centre". HART

Communication Foundation also wants to promote HART

and WirlessHART technology extensively and intensively

to help China become a global "Intellectual Centre".

一个企业的成功不会是偶然的，郑清好博士指出，“威

图的成功，其中一个重要的原因在于能坚持自己的理念，

即推行标准化理念。” 众所周知，机柜的附件是非常多的，

每个附件稍有改变机箱机柜的种类就不同，这样算下来，

种类之多是电脑也难以计算的。如果是定制化的产品，一

旦某个部件损坏就需要重新定制一个机柜，不但浪费时间

也花去很多的成本。“针对这种情况，威图第一次在行业

中提出标准化的理念，用标准化的模块构建系统，并在行

业中推广。开始的时候会很艰难，但是我们一直在努力，

如今这条路已经坚持不懈的走了 50 年，现在欣喜的看到

标准化已被行业广泛接受。”郑清好博士说，“威图是一

个让我尊重的企业。几乎每个企业在经历快速发展之后都

会遭遇瓶颈，像威图这样能始终坚持不懈并取得成功的企

业不多，”因此威图也值得业界的尊重和认可。

同时郑清好博士指出，目前的中国市场正处于战国时

代，不断有企业出现，也不断有企业倒闭，而且企业的发

展过程同样会遇到瓶颈问题。现在我们所熟知的一些大型

跨国公司，经过了近 100 年的发展积聚了雄厚的实力，他

们的成功具有不可复制性，而从小企业一步步成长壮大起

来的威图，却是树立了一个可供学习的典范：无论规模大

小，年轻与否，只要坚定不移的坚持自己的信念，总会走

向成功。

节能，威图的绿色基因当“绿色”毫无悬念的成为汉诺威工业博览会的主题

600 台，生产效率上的提高是惊人的。”

如今节能的重点除了传统的制造业，信息

和通讯产业也越来越引起关注。日益庞大的数据

中心，运行和冷却都要消耗大量的能源，抛弃那

些传统高能耗的物理基础设施而采用绿色环保新

产品将成为信息与通讯产业必然的方向。

to come in this field, but only find it complex

coincidence. Dr. Zheng pointed out that one

key reason for success is sticking to their

standard concept. Enclosure system has

many accessories and a slight change on

accessories will turn to different types. Once

a part is damaged, manufacturer needs to re-

tailor a new cabinet, it’s waste of time and

money. To address the situation, Rittal brought

the standard concept into industry for the first

rough at the beginning, but we have been

倾听客户的声音，了解他们的需求，并尽最大

可能去满足客户的需求。产品研发出来之后如

何进行评断？好或不好不是厂商自己下定义，

而是由客户来提出评价和建议。而通过参加展

会，图尔克收集了客户的很多声音和反馈，汇

总了客户的很多建议，这些将融合到以后的研

发中，并在推出的新产品中有所体现，这是我

们参展会最大的收获。”



过去厂商都是将欧洲成熟的先进技术直接拿到中国，

打包带给中国用户，弗兰克 • 罗恩先生说，现在情况已经

改变了，不考虑中国市场特殊性是行不通的。图尔克早就

认识到这一点，并积极采取行动。“对于中国市场而言，

我们做的可能不是最新的技术，但是我们提供的绝对是最

适合中国用户的产品，这是我们区别于其他厂商的最大优

势。”同时图尔克也是为数不多在多个市场保持均衡发展

的企业，“图尔克在德国、中国及美国市场都取得非常好

的成绩，除了拥有先进的技术，针对各市场的特点开发不

同的产品，也是成功的一个重要因素。”

扎实铺垫打下腾飞基础图尔克（天津）传感器有限公司副总裁许庆星先生介

绍说，经历经济危机之后，图尔克又走上了新的发展征程。

2009 年，2010 年取得了卓越的成绩，整体上完全达到了

总部的要求。更可喜的是，2011 年第一季度，图尔克公

司实现 40% 的业务增长，远远超出总部制定的目标，并

且公司在传感器和高防护等级的现场总线产品上的领先优

势越发明显，通过近两年的发展，图尔克在中国市场的地

位更加稳固。

许总认为，前两年图尔克中国管理层出现了大的调整，

整个管理团队及中国公司内部组织结构都进行了变化，使

得公司管理更高效，并未为接下来的发展打下稳固的基础。

“相对于 2010 年的火热，2011 年的业务增长会更

平稳，因为整个大环境相对良好，所以我们仍非常看好今

年的发展走势。” 许庆星先生同时指出，图尔克的发展会

强调两个方面。“行业方面，我们会继续保持汽车、冶金

和 OEM 等三个传统的优势行业的增长；从今年开始建立

一个新的团队去开拓一些公司原来市场份额小的新行业，

In HANNOVER MESSE all the companies would present

Turck has infiltrated the interfacing technologies into

from our customers at the expo. We will consider these

for us at the expo.” He said.

In the past, companies brought the advanced technologies

straightly from Europe to China. Mr. Rohn suggested that the

situation was changing now and there would be no access

without considering the particularity of Chinese markets.

“When it comes to the Chinese market, we may not offer the

latest technologies, but what we provide is absolutely fit for

our customers in China, which distinguishes us from the other

companies”. At the same time, Turck is one of the few enterprises

that keep balanced development among different markets.

Laying a solid foundation to soar higherXu Qingxing, vice president of Turck(Tianjin) Sensor Co.,

Ltd. introduced that Turck made new progress

after the financial crisis. In the year of 2009 and

2010, Turck made outstanding achievements,

reaching the goal of the head office on the whole.

Even more encouraging, in the first quarter of 2011,

Turck’s business rose by 40 percent. Moreover,

the dominant position in sensors and fieldbus

products with high protection degree has become

stronger.

“In contrast to the Solid growth in 2010, our

business in 2011 will rise more steadily because of

the relatively favorable economic environment. We

are optimistic about the development tendency this

year”. Meanwhile, Mr. Xu pointed out Turck would

lay stress on two aspects. “In terms of the main

industries, we will sustain growth in three traditional

advantageous lines, i.e., cars, metallurgy and OEM;

from this year, we began to launch a new team to

explore some new industries whose market shares

were small before, including the wind power, solar

energy, shipbuilding, biomedicine and so on. In

terms of products, we will consolidate the dominant

position in sensors and fieldbus products with

high protection degree in China and strengthen

the promotion of such products as encoders

and relays. Meanwhile, we will lead in China the

development of the connectors, the demand of

which we believe will grow at a high speed”.

技术创新永远是亮点展会上，Beckhoff 突出展示了其基于

PC 和 EtherCAT 的控制技术以及 TwinSAFE

安全解决方案和科学自动化新理念，并开辟

了新的展区，呈现“从理念到全球标准，PC

控制技术发展的 25 年”历程。

Frank Metzner 先生介绍说，经过

Beckhoff 公司多年的努力，如今基于 PC 的

年以来的最大涨幅，全球销售额达到了 3.46 亿欧元，

较上一年增长 46%，比 2008 年增长 24%。”Frank

Technological innovation always plays an important part

At this fair, Beckhoff prominently presented its complete

range of products and solutions for PC- and EtherCAT-

based control technology, TwinSAFE integrated safety



solutions as well as the new concept of Scientific

Automation. As a further topic, Beckhoff presented the

special exhibition ‘25 years of PC Control-from an idea to

a world standard’.

According to Frank Metzner, after several years of

unremitting efforts by all the staff of Beckhoff, nowadays,

PC-based control technology from Beckhoff has made

great breakthroughs and gained worldwide recognition

and is regarded as the most powerful control platform.

The advantages of PC control are obvious: as processor

power increase, in addition to the basic functions for

PLC, motion and HMI, the PC can take over many other

more complicated tasks, such as visual imaging, high-

precision measurement technology and robotics, and has

greater space for future development.

With the introduction of the new TwinCAT 3 software

generation, Beckhoff now offers a pure software safety

technology which features additional functions for

engineering and runtime.

Optimistic in the prospect“By the close of financial year 2010, Beckhoff Automation

achieved its strongest sals growth since 1987: the global

turnover of 346 million euros (approx. $500 million USD)

represents impressive growth of 46% compared to the

previous year and growth of 24% compared to 2008.”

said Mr. Metzner, “Beckhoff is presently represented

in 62 countries worldwide by 28 subsidiaries and by

distributors.”

The rapid business development of the company in

the past year also led to a continued expansion of

Beckhoff’s production capacities. According to Mr.

Metzner, new plants and production facilities have been

successively put into use. The office and production

area at its headquarters in Verl, Germany, has been

increased by 6,000 m2 in 2010. Five new efficient

production lines will triple the production capacities

in terms of printed circuit boards and industr ial

motherboards. In addition to this, Beckhoff will continue

to expand its production capacities to develop and

produce its own drive technology. At the same time,

Beckhoff will continually set up subsidiaries and offices

all over the world. “By the end of 2011, the company’s

office and production area will see an increase of

another 11,000 m2.” explained Mr. Metzner.

IIANews：请您总结一下在 Hannover

Messe 展会上 NI 主要带来哪些亮点？

Klaus Dinnes：此次 Hannover Messe 展会 NI 的亮点之一就是 PXIe-449x 系列模块。

它是最灵活的高通道数动态信号采集（DSA）模块，提

供可选的 AC/DC 耦合功能，既可用于麦克风或加速度传

感器测量，又可对转速计或其他待测设备进行电压测量。

第二个亮点是可在更广温度范围下工作的触摸平板

电脑 TPC-2206 和 TPC-2212A，搭载 1.33GHz 处理器。

这样工程师可以构建低功率，无风扇的高性能 HMI。

另外，观众可以在 NI 展台看到 NI 9792 和 NI

WSN-3226 两款最新产品，这两款产品扩展了 NI 无线

传感器网络（WSN）平台的无线通信和测量功能。

NI: Winning market through product innovation

Hannover Messe can be described as a weathervane for

industrial development, because during the fair, almost

all well-known manufacturers will bring new products

and technologies to participate. Onsite of the Messe,

IIANews found NI’s booth and its new products. Ms.

Silke Loos, marketing manager and Mr. Klaus Dinnes,

regional product engineer, industrial embedded accepted

interview and shared highlights and achievements of

NI with IIANews, while Ms. Fang Huimin, technical and

marketing engineer of NI China, also gave a detailed

introduction on NI’s development of China market.

IIANews: Could you please summarize the highlights

of NI in Hannover Messe?

Klaus Dinnes: One highlight will be NI PXIe-449x

devices, the most flexible high-channel-count dynamic

signal acquisition (DSA) modules NI has to offer.

A second one will be touch panel computers TPC-2206

and TPC-2212A with an extended operating temperature

range based on the 1.33 GHz Intel Atom processor.

Last not least, visitors can inform themselves about two

new products---NI 9792 and NI WSN-3226 that extend

the communication and measurement capabilities of the

NI wireless sensor network (WSN)

platform.

IIANews: As we know, NI is

of automation market in China? Where are the most

important market and the most potential market?

Fang Huimin: Low-cost, low profits, higher consumption

and high pollution model of development from past is

unsustainable in China. Automation market in China is

gradually switching from "made in China" to "Create

by China". On one hand, NI graphical development

platform offers a flexible customizing capability that can

realize complete customized innovative applications

according to application demands. On the other hand,

NI helps engineers to reduce cost of new technology

application in product design, production and testing

process that can simplify the process of innovation,

Pilz safety product through introduction of Mr. Eike Walther

from Pilz GmbH&Co. KG technology dept. Now Let's look

at Pilz safety products.

New insulation monitor relay PMD s20 is simpler to operate through easy-turn operation

PMD s20 has now been added to the portfolio of

electronic monitoring relays in the PMDsigma series from

Pilz. With it, it is simply turn and click to set all the values,

which can then be stored on a chip card. This gives users

the flexibility to transfer data in PMD s20 for other devices.

PMD s20 monitors the electrical safety of insulated

supplies – for operating theatres, offshore installations

or the electroplating industry for example – and prevents

power failures due to short circuits. Insulation monitor relay

PMD s20 monitor the insulation resistance of unearthed

AC/DC systems, simply and reliably. De-energised

systems can also be monitored thanks to a separate

supply voltage.

Safe proximity switch PSENini expands the sensor technology portfolio: safe, non-contact monitoring

Pilz has now added the Safe proximity switches PSENini

to its safe sensor technology portfolio. This product can

detects the approach of metallic objects without using

contacts, even on multiple position applications-with

long cams or rotational movements. The non-wearing

technology is particularly suitable for high switching

frequencies and guarantee high productivity and a long

service life. PSENini are available in an IP67 design and

so are suitable for use under difficult industrial conditions

such as heavy soiling, shock or vibration.

The safe proximity switches supply signals relating to

positions and end limits and detect metal objects with

high repetition accuracy. As a result, the positions of

machine components such as turntables or robots’

rotational movements can be monitored safely, so that the

production process is not compromised.

melodies on the booth of SERCOS. With no

enthusiastic actions though, the performer

behaved so wonderful that many fans

clapped for its great talents.

score is input, the performer, will accurately

read the MIDI document and make sure of

a successful performance, which made the

Contact, the mechanical performer is able

to switch the guitar proficiently and control

the keyboard, the notes like floating clouds

The luminous cable makes the whole world glowThe luminous cable for 6 hours pushed the LAPP’s display

to a new high. “In some large and dark places, such as

the backstage of a concert, or the construction site, the

interlaced cables become potential safety concerns. Under

these circumstances, the luminous cables can prevent

people from tumbling and other hazards.” Markus J.Müller

said. Made from materials such as PVC or PUR, the cable

is safe and innoxious enough not to emit any dangerous

radiant matter. “what’s more, it has also performed well in

billboard production”, Markus J.Müller added.

The utilization of laser beam is capable of stamping a

permanent mark on the cable, so that people can feel it

accurately with a simple touch. “as for the blind, our tactile

cable has already been under test in the Stuttgart Care

Center and the result is quite perfect ”,Markus J.Müller

introduced.

Connectors-immune to harsh environmentBesides cable, LAPP’s breakthrough in connectors has

displayed its strength in an all-around way.

The outermost shell of the rectangular die-casting

connectors on exhibition is able to overcome more severe

environment. The appearance of the shell is glossy enough

to avoid scratches to the greatest degree and is resistant

to impact and erosion. Outstanding Electrostatic shielding

effect made by the hermetically-sealed metal shell has built

the most favorable surroundings for the acute bus signals.

Additionally, the design of the joints has brought more

convenience to the quick re-assembling while the best

sealing effect is guaranteed. This is LAPP that delicately

Chargers feed the electric carsIn near future, the charging system of the electric cars will

become hot. Focusing on this field, LAPP has partnered

with BALS to forge the prospect of the charging system.

Mr. Müller introduces that a complete connector series

includes plugs and various socket designs, which could

exchange more data on the vehicle itself and the power

supplies. Meanwhile, cables may drop on the ground,

so damages must be carefully avoided.The successful

application of LAPP’s products in the late-model hybrid

vehicle made by Benz has broadened LAPP’s visual field.

the service of electrical wiring for the cars by senior

electricians, Mr. Müller pointes out these cables and

Xiao thought that European automation market, which

has a history of a hundred years, is relatively mature to

the domestic market. Technology and products provided

by each vendor have their unique character, while China

market despite the late start, still has a practical foundation

Chinese enterprises in overseas markets is more difficult

than inside China. First, users have little awareness of

Chinese enterprises from overseas, so that for them there

is a process of recognition from knowing to accessing, then

工业业务领域在德国汉诺威举办了“2011 中国工业

日”活动，吸引了包括西门子客户、来自中国的媒体

记者以及西门子管理人员在内的约 300 人参加。通

过针对工业发展趋势进行的主题演讲和讨论，“2011

中国工业日”再次彰显了西门子对与客户共同实现

On April 4, China Industry day 2011 held by Industry

Sector, Siemens Ltd., China, was held successfully in

Hannover Germany, under the theme of “Sustainable

Partnership". More than 300 participants including

Siemens customers, Siemens top executives and

journalists from China attended this event.

China Industry Day is a major customer event in

the context of the famous Hannover Messe. It aims

to conduct face-to-face, in-depth communications

with Chinese customers about the latest market and

technological trends in industry.

Dr. Marc Wucherer, President of Industry Sector,

Siemens, North East Asia, made a welcome

speech at the beginning of the day, entitled

“Siemens Growing with Chinese Industry”. Prof.

gave his keynote speech on “Creating Sustainable Value

for the Customers.” Mr. Wang Haibin, General Manager

of Industry Automation, Industry Sector, Siemens Ltd.,

China, spoke highly of the importance of sustainable

organizations to the growth of Chinese enterprises and

Siemens.

The EngyCal® RH33 combined heat and cold meter and EngyCal® RS33 steam meter

enable accurate recording and calculation of energy values as well as billing of the heat/

cold quantity. Both meters are used in the support processes of all industries, e.g. the

production of heat and cold, steam generation as well as distribution systems for heat,

cold and steam, in long-distance heat networks and building automation. EngyCal®

RH33 was developed especially for applications with liquids, such as water, water glycol

mixtures or thermal oils. EngyCal® offers high-accuracy measurement, particu-larly in

cooling applications, thanks to electronically paired temperature sensors using Callendar

van Dusen coefficients. The temperature difference error is minimized and the replacement

of individual sensors is possible in the field. A cost-intensive use of paired sensors is

therefore not necessary. The meter is optionally available in custody transfer version. The

EngyCal® RS33 was developed for saturated steam applications or for applications with

superheated steam. It calculates and records energy values for steam applications.

The EngyCal® meters are easy to integrate in other systems, e.g. via M-Bus, Modbus

and Ethernet. In addition, the load curves can be read out and displayed using the FDM

software, whereby users have the option to create reports and comparisons.

The EngyCal® steam and heat meter will enable speedy and reliable billing in the future

thanks to the integrated tariff counter.

4 月 4 日至 8 日举办的 2011 德国汉诺威工业博览会上，中牟产业

园区河南欧帕工业机器人有限公司作为中国唯一一家参展的高科技企业

进入机器人展馆，展示了河南科技制造业的实力。

德国汉诺威工业博览会始创于 1947 年，经过半个多世纪的不断发

展与完善，已成为当今规模最大的国际工业盛会。

此次博览会上，欧帕公司展示了新研发的机器人伴侣设备，该项技

术成果可以使机器人提升能力提高到原来的 2.5 倍，解决了世界范围内

工业机器人载重能力受技术限制的科技难题，引起了包括全球最大的工

业机器人公司德国库卡在内的知名制造公司的高度关注，多家客户表示

河南欧帕工业机器人有限公司新厂区位于中牟产业园区官渡工业区

内，占地 66 亩，总投资约 1.4 亿元，厂区总建设面积为 47900 平方米，

年产 600 套机械手。

In Germany Hannover held from April 4 to 8, 2011, as the only Chinese

high-tech company exhibits in robot Hall, Henan Ompa industrial robot

Company limited of Zhongmou industry Park demonstrates the power

strength of Henan technical manufacturing.

Germany Hannover Messe was founded in 1947, and after half century

of continuous development and improvement it becomes the largest

international industry event.

In the Expo, Ompa shows its newly developed robotmate device, which

increases the lifting ability of robot 2.5 times and solves technology

problems worldwide that industrial robot has load capacity limit. It

attracts highly concern of best-known manufacturing companies

including the world's largest industrial robot company KUKA in Germany.

Many customers expressed the hope that Ompa provides automated

production lines to them. New factory of Henan Ompa industrial robot

Company locates in Guandu district of Zhongmou Industrial Park,

covering 66 acres, with a total investment of about 140 million RMB. The

total construction area of factory is 47,900 square meters, producing

600 suites of manipulator annually.

控制器 3200 C, 可作为动作和顺序

控制的硬件平台同时还可进行两台

机器人的坐标变换。

演示箱充分体现了伦茨产品系

类的一致性，多样性和开放性，这使

得用户拥有广阔的适用范围，包括

物料搬运以及机器人功能，而仅需

采用同一家自动化产品。这样做的

好处是，接口和供应商的数量可以

降至最小。同时，集成度有极大提高，

所带来的优势为：大大减少设备的

数量，同时降低工程设计的工作量。

在演示箱的中间安装有两条平

行运行的输送带，输送带的两头分别

装有一台 Delta 机器人和一台 Scara

输送带上的所需位置形成存储方阵。

然后再由 Scara 机器人对存储方阵

除此之外，L-force 控制器

3200 C也起到了中央控制器的功能，

伦茨的 I/O1000 系统在该应用中也

有涉及。I/O 系统可通过公用且快速

的基架总线直接挂到控制器上。控

制器需要处理两个机器人共六根轴

的运动控制 - 均采用伺服 9400 系列

中的多轴伺服变频器且集成有安全

功能 – 通过 EtherCAT 实现。伦茨

MCS 伺服电机提供了机器人执行动

作时所需的高动态性和精确性，同

时结合了 Delta 机器人上的绝对值

A pick and place application with

a delta and a scara robot is one

of the highlights at Lenze’s stand

in Hanover. From the robots right

through to the conveyor belt, it is

automated entirely using Lenze

technology. The key component of

the automation system is the new

L-force Controller 3200 C, which

serves as the hardware platform for

the motion and sequence control

and simultaneously implements the

coordinate transformations for the

two robots.

The showcase clearly demonstrates

the cons istency, d ivers i ty and

openness of the Lenze product

range that allows users to cover a

vast range of applications, including

handling and robot functions, with

just one automation partner. By

this, the number of interfaces and

suppliers is minimized. At the same

time, integration is greatly improved,

resulting in a reduced number of

components and less engineering

work. For the machine-builders, this

means a shorter time-to-market and

lower costs.

The deposit pattern is sorted by the

scara robot.In addition to the L-force

Controller 3200 C, which serves as the

central controller, Lenze’s I/O system

1000 is also involved in the application.

It is directly attached to the controller

and is connected via a common,

fast backplane bus. The controller

communicates with the six movement

axes of the robots – all are multi-axis

servo inverters from the Servo Drives

9400 product range with integrated

safety functions – via EtherCAT.

Lenze MCS servo motors provide

the dynamics and precision required

in the execution of movements in

combination with absolute value

encoders for the delta robot and

resolvers for the scara robot. The two

8400 HighLine Inverter Drives which

supply the asynchronous motors for

the conveyor belts are also connected

to the controller via EtherCAT.

All drives on the demo rig rely on

the same DC bus and thus require

just one power supply unit or one

brake chopper.Visualisation as well is

implemented with Lenze technology;

the system is equipped with two

visualisation devices (Command

Station CS 5050 DVI and Command

Stat ion CS 5700 with Ethernet

interface), via which the machine

modules can also be operated.

plain bearings during the Hanover

Trade Show. The expert panel of

scientists had been overwhelmed

Festo’s Smart BirdA German automation company has deciphered the flight

of birds with the development of the world’s first robotic

bird that could pave the way to a new generation of

process automation components.

Festo’s Smart Bird, which uses a compact 135 brushless

motor, can start, f ly and land autonomously. An

articulated torsional drive unit allows the bird to beat its

wings up and down as well twist at specific angles.

Built from carbon fiber and polyurethane foam, the

ultralight Smart Bird weighs 485 grams, operates at 23

watts and can be controlled from the ground using a

radio controller.

According to Festo, the bird’s functional integration of

coupled drive units could potentially be transferred to the

development and optimization of a range of hybrid drive

technology – from generators that derive energy from

water to new actuators in process automation.

The minimal use of materials and the bird’s lightweight

construction also pave the way for efficiency in resource

and energy consumption, says Festo.

The Smart Bird was inspired and modeled on the herring

gull.

fieldbus H1 segments without extra cost. In addition

to overload and short circuit protection, this solution

can also monitor all quality-related physical parameters

of Fieldbus, including main voltage and current, signal

and noise level, imbalance of lines and jaggies.

Diagnostic function has been used in the process

of installation and general operation (such as fault

location). Front serial interface of fieldbus power supply

ensures connection to any standard PC without special

drivers or DTM. In the advanced version, thresholds

value of signal quality attenuation detecting can be set

freely. Additional diagnostic communications module

can be connected online. According to their staff,

ISbus series are featured with EDD support, which can

collect eight physical layers’ information of H1 fieldbus

segment and deliver to asset management system for

further analysis.

Exi coupler, more access

关于 OPCOPC 基金会在 1996 年 10 月

7 日在美国的芝加哥宣告正式成立

的。之后为了普及和进一步改进于

1996 年 8 月完成的 OPC 数据访

问标准版本 1.0，开始了全球范围

的活动。OPC 标准的建立基于微

软的 COM 技术规范，并由 OPC

基金会这个国际组织管理，OPC

基金会是一家非营业性机构。OPC

Held in April 2011, the Hannover Messe is a grand

gathering of international manufacturers. International

measurement leader KROHNE also unveiled new

products. KROHNE always adhere to the innovation

两站地展示不俗实力9 号馆的主要展位中，

Baumüller 带来优秀的安全技术、

驱动技术及自动化系统解决方案。

在现场演示中，Baumüller 动态展

示各组成部分的压延及既安全又有

而在 14 号馆中，Baumüller

体船世界上最大的太阳能双体船终于

问世了，船身长 31 米。该双体船名为

PlanetSolar，能够产生高达 103.4KW

太阳能，发动机只需要 20KW 驱动，

船速可以达到每小时 8 海里。

出于对重量和效率的要求，选

中 Baumüller 同步电机。四个水冷

色散位移光纤驱动两个螺旋桨发动

机，效率高达 90％以上。随着最大

输出功率为 60 千瓦至 10 千瓦的正

常巡航速度输出的需求，保证电机

的高效运转。

Visitors can take the phrase "you

literally at the Hannover Messe this

year because, for the first time,

Baumüller was appearing on two

stands in Hanover. The drive and

automation solutions supplier from

Baumüller presents product portfolio at the Hannover Messe

Nuremberg was shown visitors its

At the main Booth in Hall 9, visitors

In Hall 14, Booth J 15, Baumüller

showed its scalable drive solutions

for linear and rotary direct drives,

DSC and DSD servo motors and

configurator as the optimum drive.

The Mela motor, from collaborative

project powerMELA, for use in

hybrid drive systems is Baumüller’s

contribution to a future-proof mobile

drive technology and completes the

company’s display at the Hannover

Due to an integrated Ethernet and GSM/GPRS interface this Teleservice Module can be maintained and controlled from your office. Especially the alarm function is one of these modules´ highlights.

Defined values within the controller are being observed and in case certain limit values are being exceeded. you will immediately be informed. The Teleservice Modules can be configured via a comfortable web interface and enable a remote access to the controller.

Once the connection between the distant PC and the module has been established, the technician can access the installed system via the programming software.

M&M Software GmbH began to cooperate with Softing from the beginning of 2011. We provide the advanced fieldbus and Realtime Ethernet integration solution for domestic industrial automation customers. This FieldBus Kit (FBK) is a proven fieldbus solution for the rapid development of FOUNDATIONTM fieldbus H1 (FF H1) and PROFIBUS PA (PB PA) field devices for intrinsically and non-intrinsically safe environments. It can be used in conjunction with your existing device to create a complete fieldbus product.

The FBK-2 provides a serial Modbus/RTU and HART™ interface to bridge existing devices into the FF H1 or PB PA world; if needed, Softing and M&M’s design team is ready to implement a proprietary protocol and application. The bus-powered FBK board is able to provide a limited amount of power to the application permitting the design of field devices without the need for an external power supply.

FBK-2 has extremely small dimensions, at just 40 x 40mm. As the world smallest communications module, it can be designed to fit easily into most existing devices. The total height of the installed components (from the motherboard to the highest component of the FBK module) is just 10 millimeters.
