All contents pages have structured layouts either using columns consisting of either 3 or 4. Or by using a dog leg layout (Letter L).

The is contact details on the contents page for example website address they do this to promote the magazine and provide customer service.

There is always the date and the title of the magazine on the contents page.

There are lots of pictures on contents page's that take up the majority of the space on the page, the pictures all have page numbers on them this anchors them to the page and story.
