Crafts

Quillingwith Doris Veach Quilling is an old paper art form dating back to at least the

15th century. Also known as paper filigree, quilling isthe art of rolling and gluing thin strips of paper into

different shapes for decorative purposes. The strips areused to create three-dimensional designs to adorn cards, invi-tations and scrapbook pages. Classes that do not meet the minimum student requirement will be canceled before the actual class date. To ensure theclass you desire to take will be a go, register early!

Learn to promote and marketall aspects of a business more effectively in this six-course Social Media Certificate Program offered by the Center for LifelongLearning. Courses should be taken in succession for a complete certificate. Basic computer knowledge is a necessity. By utilizingand integrating social media, you can expand your consumer audience, increase produc-tivity and build relationships within the community. This program teaches skills that canbe put to use in the workplace right away. Whether you've been asked to takeon social media responsibilities as part of existing job requirements, you'relooking to expand your resume, or you simply want to learn more aboutsocial media for personal use, the Social Media Certificate program willhelp you better understand how to successfully communicate in the ever-evolving Internet Age.
