‘Coach Bowls’ has developed a number of courses and qualifications on behalf of Bowls England (BE) and English Indoor Bowling Association Ltd (EIBA). The courses available are the only ones recommended to club coaches by BE and EIBA and are the only bowls courses and qualificiations recognised by Sport England. Bursaries to assist coaches to cover part of the cost of these courses are available through County Sport Partnerships and your National Governing Body (BE & EIBA). Level 1 Award in Coaching Bowls (£90)

Coach Bowls

Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Bowls (£150)

This qualification is delivered in partnership with 1st4SportQualifications (Awarding Body) and gives an externally accreditednationally recognised qualification (regulated by Ofqual). It is alsothe only Nationally Recognised Qualification for the sport of bowlsin England and is wholly supported by Bowls England and EIBA.

The qualification will support coaches to effectively plan and delivera series of structured sessions to bowlers, from beginner stagesthrough to competitive club players. It puts the bowler at the centreof all developments and concentrates not just on what to coach buton how to get the best from the people you are working with.

Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Bowls Bridging Modules (From £100)

Bridging Modules are available for current Level 2 accreditedcoaches (£120) and Level 3 and above accredited coaches(£100). The courses enables a coach to undertake furtherdevelopment and training which brings skills and knowledgein line with current coaching standards required to beassessed for the 1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in CoachingBowls. The courses are shorter in length than the full Level 2course.
