Offley Pre-school Staff: Paula Metcalfe, Sara Page, Elaine Wood and Claire Pin Last Few Weeks PLAYDAYS KIDS CLUB Will be operating out of preschool for four weeks over the Summer holidays. If you are interested or want more information please speak to a staff member who will pass on your questions or telephone Kelly direct on 07880 745834. [email protected] SPORTS DAY – FRIDAY 4 th JULY 11am start All children are invited in to join us for our annual sports day, where children will be entering up to four different races. Stickers will be awarded to all, for the first time we will be issuing 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd with all other children receiving a “I ran a race”. We will be having a Ladies and Gentlemen race with a small trophy awarded to the winner. Hopefully the weather will shine and the event will be a success. Water will be available throughout with an ice lolly reward once all races are complete. SPONSORED WALK & BBQ– SATURDAY 5 th JULY 11:30am start This is a fun day for all of the family and is our main fundraiser of the year. Profits from the event are split with some used towards our end of year party and the remainder for additional toys and activities in the coming year. We meet in the playground and walk the 1.5miles to the final destination. Safety is a priority, we have adults in Hi Viz jackets, a car at the end and usually a lead car. ALL WELCOME NO DOGS PLEASE LEAVERS CELEBRATION– FRIDAY 11 th JULY 11am start All children are invited in to join us for an emotional celebration. Our children who will be moving on will be presented with their learning journeys and certificates. The remaining children will each receive a smaller certificate outlining an achievement of their own. Following this the children will perform a selection of songs and solos. As well as proudly displaying their work, and paintings. PARTY DAY– FRIDAY 18 th JULY ALL SESSION All children are invited in to join us for a morning of fun. We will be enjoying many activities including making sweet cones (Thank you Tina) Special cake decorating, games, Pass the parcel, Piñata to name but a few. We have booked a face painter (Please let a staff member know if you would prefer your child not to be painted) FINAL DAY– Tuesday 22 nd JULY ALL SESSION FINISHING AT 3pm Preschool will be open from 8:50 – 3pm as usual. The day will offer free choice for the children, we may watch a couple of episodes of something on the computer. Generally just a final day of fun, fun, fun.
