It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Candace Jones. As a social work intern at Hope of Detroit Academy from September 2014 through May 2015, Candace worked with kindergarten through 5th grade students. Her responsibilities included individual and group counseling, classroom presentations and in-class behavioral support as well as classroom observations. Candace met the challenges of the internship with confidence. She focused on the tasks at hand and

completed the requirements showing her creativeness and competency. Candace also worked well with the school staff. The feedback I received was always positive about her performance in the classroom setting with students.

Therefore, Candace would do well in a social work position or continuing onto the MSW program because she would be an asset in any environment.
