Creation of Room Types in EzeeCMS

Room types creation in ezeeCMS:-

1 Introduction

In Hotel Details>preferences tab, select what kind of Rate Preferences For that hotel is Available and the options are: Meal Plan Based, Occupancy Based and Amenity Based.

If we check only the Occupancy flag, while creating physical room, only Occupancy will be displayed. If we select Both Occupancy based and Meal Plan Based, both the Options will be displayed.

While creating the Physical room, we can select the Occupancy, Amenity and Meal plans available with that Room type. Based on the Preferences Selected in the Hotel Details.

After Creating the Virtual Room Types, We can Activate or Deactivate. But we can’t Edit the Virtual Room Types and we can map the Taxes and Surcharges at Physical Room Type Level.

2 Process1. CMS> Entities> Particular hotel>Basic Data> Preferences Tab2. CMS> Entities> Particular Hotel> Room Type > Physical Rooms> add Physical Room type.

In Preferences Tab, select the Pricing Preferences, Band Preferences and Rate Table V2 and click on Confirm Button.

1.1 CMS> Entities> Particular Hotel> Room Type > Add Room type.

Select the Room types, Amenity and Meal Plans and click on Confirm Button.

Activate the Virtual Room Types

Add the rooms for created room type:-

Add single room at a time by selecting "Add One Room"

Add series of rooms at a time by selecting "Add Series Of Rooms"

Add the Rate Name

Add Rate Name for published Physical Room Type by selecting the channel, to which we need to publish the rates:-

Publish the rates for the created room type:-

we can add the bands in rate table by using "+" option in rate bands column.

We can edit the bands by using "calendar" option in rate bands column.

Publish the same children and extra adults price for all virtual room types by selecting "Is the extra adult charge same across the table?" and "Is the child charge same across the table?" options.

Publish the rate table by clicking on “Publish Rate Table” Button

Configuration of Taxes and Surcharges

Configure the taxes:- Configure the taxes by using “Add tax definition” option.

Configure the surcharges:- Configure the surcharges by using “Add Surcharge Definition” option.

Map the configured taxes and surcharges to room types:-
