apply the Waxoyl rust proofing and car care programme which includes industrial application and painting contracts.

Selected unemployed people once trained will be given the opportunity to become self-employed and will charge the dealership

directly for their labour and service. They will also be able to quote on industrial applications like harbour work, trains, ships, steel

structures, military, navy, air force and government vehicles etc.

CMC International has developed a 10 year rust warranty and car care programme which will assist in developing this programme

and opportunities throughout South Africa. It will also assist the vehicle manufacturers and vehicle fleet owners in reducing their

current high warranty costs and rust problems, at the same time generating additional profits for the dealer.

This programme will also be beneficial to customers purchasing a new vehicle. It will give them peace of mind that the vehicle is

rust free, reduce latent defects of rust, oxidization, industrial fallout and minimize future cleaning and maintenance efforts. The

resale value of the vehicle will also be maximized because the vehicle is in good condition.

CMC International has offered to sell 50% equal shares of the current and future business to a BEE group to prove CMC

International’s commitment in the future growth and development in South Africa.

Due to the different requirements from the various manufacturers, the warranty programmes must be jointly compiled to avoid misrepresentation or abuse.
