MEMBER: LESON LEE Q: Which temptation do you try the hardest to resist and why? Besides the obvious ones like pride and lust and greed and envy and laziness…one big temptation is Pizza. I can’t pass up good pizza. I’m a pizza snob so I only care to eat the really good stuff. My favorite places are Joe’s Pizzeria in the Village and Frank Pepe in Yonkers. Q: Which other culture would you choose to be born into and why? France – I love their food. Love their culture – art, scenery, architecture. I love that they don’t put work first, but enjoy family, eating and getting together. Q: If you could master one instrument, which would it be? Piano. A very versatile instrument – can accompany many other instruments, can play in a band, can accompany a choir, can play for hours by yourself. I wish I didn’t quit lessons when I was younger.

Q: Which temptation do you try the hardest to resist and why?Besides the obvious ones like pride and lust and greed and envy and laziness…one big temptation is Pizza. I can’t pass up good pizza. I’m a pizza snob so I only care to eat the really good stuff. My favorite places are Joe’s Pizzeria in the Village and Frank Pepe in Yonkers.

Q: Which other culture would you choose to be born into and why?France – I love their food. Love their culture – art, scenery, architecture. I love that they don’t put work first, but enjoy family, eating and getting together.

Q: If you could master one instrument, which would it be?Piano. A very versatile instrument – can accompany many other instruments, can play in a band, can accompany a choir, can play for hours by yourself. I wish I didn’t quit lessons when I was younger.

Q: How would you like to spend your elder years?

Hopefully, I’m still married and in love with my spouse. Would be awful if I wasn’t still in love with my spouse. Hopefully, I’m serving God in some capacity…would be nice if I could support some missionaries and go abroad to see them occasionally. Also, would be nice to have season tickets to the local NBA team wherever I’m living.

Q: Which of your personality traits would you most like to change and why?I wish I could be more empathetic

Q: What do you think heaven will be like? Please provide details.1. I think there will be flying. 2. Pure joy cuz no more shame, no more envy, no more emotionalchains. 3. I don’t think heaven will be one eternal worship service. 4. I think we will still hold our same identity/personality when we go to heaven. We all won’t be identical angelic drones. Cuz we’ll have the same identity, heaven will affect us in different ways. For those who appreciate music, they’ll experience God through worship. For those you love nature, they’ll experience God enjoying the scenery and playing with the animals (sure, they’ll be animals there). For the introverts, God will relate to them in a more personal manner.

Q: What would you most like to ask God?How did God really create the universe and this earth? If it’s through evolution then couple questions: 1. Why didn’t he just simply state it in the Bible and 2. Who was the first Adam and Eve? If it’s not through evolution, then why does science have such strong supporting evidence for evolution and for an earth that’s several billions years old? This is something I spend a good deal thinking about it; it doesn’t challenge my faith in Christ and what he’s done. But I often wish I had more clarity in how things began.

Q: What would you most like to do for someone else if you had the money and time?If money and time were no object, I would want to travel with my kids and show them different cultures, countries – the good and the bad. I think traveling opens up the mind and the heart…sparks your curiosity and creativity and can make you less self-centered and relate more to others

Q: What's the best way to spend a rainy weekend? Wake up. Cup of coffee. Blueberry pancakes or a farmers omelette. Read a book. Play a couple board games with my kids. Prepare lunch – ham and cheese sandwich with potato chips. Read some more. Browse the internet. Watch some funny clips on YouTube. Take a nap. Eat dinner – Korean food. Put kids to sleep. Call a friend for 20 minutes. Watch ESPN. Read some more. Go to sleep.
