For Scaling & Polishing (linis)
1) Fill-up ng chart then ichecheck ng clinician yung mga ngipin
para makita kung ano mga problema tapos magawan ng treatment
plan. It will take 20 minutes. Faculty will check the chart.
Magseserve as record ng patient yung chart na yun. Lahat ng
bagong
patients kailangan ng ganun
2) After maapprove iyong chart, we have to fill-up another
chart. We have to assess iyong degree ng inflammation ng gums
ninyo.
The chart will serve as baseline para makita iyong improvement o
healing after kayo malinisan. faculty will check the chart
ulit.
Charting takes 30 minutes. If severe yung case niyo it will take
a little more time
3) Upon approval of faculty, we'll start the treatment (linis).
Time it takes to finish depends sa dami ng calcular deposits
(dumi).
lahat ng tatanggalin na dumi ay iyong kitang kita lang muna.
kasi dudugo yung gums habang nililinis sa kakailanganin ng 2nd
appointment ng linis para iyong mas malalim na dumi tatanggalin

4. Babalik ka after 7 days. bakit 7 days? kasi aantayin natin
magresolve ng kaunti iyong pamamaga ng gums mo na gawa ng dumi.
ang pagbalik after 7 days after ng unang linis ay tinatawag
naming "2nd sitting". kung iyong unang punta mo ay aabutin tyo ng

hours ( dahil sa charts) itong visit na to ay 1 hour and 30
minutes na lang.
5. Tapos after 1 week ulit, "recall" naman na tawag natin.
ichachart ulit kita (30minutes) tapos icocompare natin dun sa
nauna
mong chart ( ung sa #2) . dapat magiimprove yung health status
ng gums mo dahil nalinis na natin. Hindi ngiimprove ang status
kapag hindi mo pnpractice ang good oral hygiene practice (na
ituturo ng clinician)
6. kapag hindi mo pinanatling malinis on your own sa pamamagitan
ng brushing, kakailanganin mo ulit bumalik kasi kailangan ko
mamake sure na ngiimprove ka

2. X-ray ( 5 minutes)

3. Chart : tatake vitals ninyo para lang makita kung safe ba
kayo bunutan. kukunin pulse rate ninyo, BP etc
(10 minutes lang)

5. Di kagaya ng linis, di niyo na kailangang bumalik.
Reresetahan ko kayo ng gamot for pain.
