General Information for allAll pupils must come to school each term with the required clothing, clearly marked with nametapes showing Name and House.

The following are the standard abbreviations:

School House - SH Hallward’s House - HH Moberly’s House - MH North Town – NT Wiseman’s House - WiH South Town – ST Watson’s House – WaH East Town – ET Oakeley’s House - OH West Town – WT Worcester House - WoH Holland’s House – HLH

Boarders should bring at least a dozen extra nametapes and give them to the House Matron for emergencies. Shoes and other footwear should be clearly marked. Loops should be added to games clothes. Bed linen is provided in the boarding houses, but pupils usually bring their own duvet covers (Houses will provide details).

All items of compulsory uniform are available from the School Shop and may be either ordered in advance or purchased before term starts.

The school uniform is designed to be smart, durable and sensibly priced.

Pupils are permitted to wear informal clothing at certain times. Such clothing must also be named. There should be no extremes of fashion.

The School Shop supplies all the games items listed, and has a comprehensive range of other sports goods.

All items are returnable if in unused condition and with tags.
