THEFTINSURANCE

Theft insuranceenables you to insure the full valueof your stand (excluding foodproducts,beverages,etc.) against the riskof theft,withanexcessof€300per incident. For theextradeclaredvalue, the insurancepremium includingtaxandcostswillbecalculatedata rateof0.63%.

LOSSES

No losses may be accepted as valid without having been declared to the show's exhibitorreception within 24h. The order of 1st August 2006 lays out the conditions forapplicationofarticlesR111-19toR111-9-3andR111-19-6oftheBuildingandHabitationCodeconcerningtheaccessofhandicapped people in establishments for public use andinstallations open to the public during their construction orcreation.Generally the Halls, exhibition Halls, and installations inexhibition centres meet the requirements of this order:accessibility,toilets,carparking,etc.Furthermore, regarding installations open to the publicduring their creation, it is necessary to allow handicappedpeople access to stands, conference or meeting rooms,grandstands,orcateringareas.In the shows organised by COMEXPOSIUM, the SecurityManager is responsible for ordering anymeasures requiredandcarryingoutinspectionsatshows.Thegeneralandspecificmeasuresapplicableto installationscreatedattradeshowsandexhibitionsaregivenhereafter:ACCESSTOSINGLE-LEVELSTANDS

Eachstand,areaopentothepublic,fittedwithafloorhigherthan2cmmustbeaccessibletoPeopleofReducedMobility(PRM).One or several ramps, of a minimum width of 90 cm, willfacilitate this access. All stand fittings and decors must follow the«ArchitectureRegulations».In all cases, before construction, each project must besubmitted to the Sial Architecture Department, who mayauthorise installation on the site. HALLSPECIFICATIONS1.LocationofSIALParis2016SIALwilltakeplaceinHalls1-2-3-4-5a-5b-5c--6-7and8attheParis-NordVillepinteExhibitionCentrefrom16to20October2016.

2.AccesstotheHallsThe Halls are all on ground level. Access to the Halls isprovided at ground level by numerous side doors. VehiclesarenotallowedtoentertheHalls.CarparksnexttoeachoftheHallsareavailabletofittersduringexhibitionset-upanddismantling.

3.Floors,wallsandpillarsintheHallsFloors, walls and pillars are either made of concrete orenamelledmetalorcladwithwoodpanelling.It isforbiddentodrill,cutorotherwisedefacethesesurfaces,normaytheybepainted.Some pillars have technical order and safety casings thatmustremaininsightandaccessibleatalltimes.

4.FluiddistributionconduitsThedistributionoffluidsintheHallsisprovidedbyaseriesofconduits.Theconduitsareenclosedbycastironplateswhichcannot be moved. Only the Exhibition Centre operatingcompanyisentitledtousetheseconduitsandhatches.

5.DamageExhibitors shall be held responsible for any damage whichtheyortheirappointedcontractorsmaycausetothebuildingduringtransport,installationorremovaloftheirequipment.

6.AislesExhibitors must not obstruct aisles with pipes, cables ordecorationseitheratgroundleveloraboveground.However,pipesandcableswhichmeettherequirementsofSIALortheSafety Department may be installed over stand areas ifnecessary.

7.SuspendeditemsItems suspended from the framework of the Halls areinstalled by the Exhibition Centre’s Technical Department.Requests must be made directly to the SIAL Paris. Allsuspended items must comply with the SIAL 2016 StandDesignRegulations.

8.SmokeextractioncontrolsandfixedfirepointsSmokeextractioncontrolsor fireextinguishersaremountedon the side panelling or on pillars and are indicated on theplans. Fire hoses are shown on the schemas. Theymust becut away to accommodate these facilities, as shown on thedrawingsbelow.Theintercomsmustremainaccessibleatalltimes.Signspointingoutthesefacilitiesmustbevisibleatalltimes.

9.Firepoints(hoses)Firehosesarelocatedonthepillarseitherinthemiddleorattheedgeofthestand.TheymustbeleftcompletelyclearasshownintheFireSafetyRegulation.

10.AccessibilityforpeopleofreducedmobilityIn compliance with the regulations andwith the Exhibitor'sGuideforstandswitha floorraisedbyover2cm,anaccessrampisrequiredforpeopleofreducedmobility.Theserampsmustnotencroachonthealleys.Theaccessrampshouldbeatleast90cmwideandhaveaslopebetween2%and5%.

11.SidepanellingThepanellingaroundthesidesoftheHalls is3metreshigh.Exhibitorsmayuseanypartofthepanellingtohangsignsordecorations. Anything stapled to the panelling must beremovedbytheexhibitorattheendoftheexhibitionandthestaplesremovedfromthepanelling.Failingthis,theexhibitorwillbechargedforrestoringittoitsoriginalcondition.

12.Two-sidedstandsignSIALwillprovideonesignperdirectexhibitor’ssite.Thissignonthegroundfeaturesthenumberofyourstand(exceptforcollectivestands).

13.Constructionheights• Maximum authorised height of shared partitions 2.50 mfromthefloorofthebuilding.

• Maximumheightoftheconstruction:5mfromthefloorofthebuilding.

• Noconnectionwithneighbouringstandscanbeaccepted.

14.OpeningsontoaislesStandsidesopeningontoanaislemustincludeanopeningofat least2.5metresevery6 linearmetres.Theopeningmustequate to at least half the length of the side. The 2.5m

openingmust be kept clear: green plants, glass panes, etc.willnotbeauthorised.

15.ClearancelimitsStand structures must take into account the followingclearancelimits:ClearancelimitsfromaislesandneighbouringstandsItemsupto1.8mhigh:noclearancelimit.Items between 1.8 and 2.5 m high: clearance limit 0.5 m ,including the partition screen between the neighbouringstand. 16.Re-usedstandsThese are subject to SIAL’s Stand Design Regulations in thesameway as newly built stands. Theymust conform to theprescribedclearanceandheightlimits.

SIGNAGE17.StructureBy sign structure, the organizers mean an open-worksuperstructure which can include the illuminated name orlogooftheexhibitor.Their heightwill be limited to 5.00m, and signagemust beset up between 2.50 and 5.00m, respecting the requestedwithdrawaldistances.Mobile structures must be at least 1 m away fromneighbouringstandsandaisles.Only the Parc des Expositions of Paris Nord Villepinte’sservicesareauthorisedtoworkonthehall’sbuildingframe

PLATFORMSANDCEILINGS

21.PlatformsStandsincludingplatformsorofsplit-leveldesign(assumingtheinteriorspaceisnotusedandtheprescribedheightlimits are observed) must conform to specific guidelinessuppliedonrequest.

22.CeilingsAs a general rule, solid ceilings are not permitted at SIAL.However, the following stand roofing options arepermitted:Cellular structuresof the“Claustra” typemadeofM0orM1materialsAlternatingstructuresmadeofM0orM1materialslaidoutin “checkerboard” form to provide a largely open-workceiling (50%). Vertical strips made of thin M0 or M1materialsplacedatleast0.2metresapart.

DOUBLE-DECKERSTANDSExhibitors wishing to build a double-decker stand mustapply for permission to build by 4 July 2016 at the latest.Theapplicationmustbeaccompaniedbyachequefor€140not inc. VAT per square metre of additional floor space.ThissumwillbedeductedfromthefinalbuildingfeesonceSIAL’s Design Department has carried out the finalcalculationoftheareaandgrantedpermissiontobuild.

23.AccessibilityforpeoplewithreducedmobilityIncompliancewiththeregulationsandwiththeExhibitor’sGuideforstandswithafloorraisedbyover2cm,anaccessramp is required for people of reduced mobility. Theserampsmustnotencroachonthealleys.The ramps should be at least 0.90mwide and the slopemustbebetween2and5%.

24.CertificateofconformitytosafetystandardsAs soon as they have received building permission,Exhibitors shoulddrawup their plans, taking into accountthe surface area allocated, and send them to the SIALDesignDepartmentwhichwillconfirmitsfinalapprovalandforwardcopiestotheSafetyDepartment.Detailedplansofboth stands and upper levels should therefore besubmittedforapproval induplicate.Theplansshouldtakeinto account the requirements concerning height andclearance limits contained in Articles 14, 15, 16 andfollowing.

IMPORTANTFor solid horizontal structures such as the floors of upperlevelsandsolidceilings,theremustbea2-metreclearancefromthepartitioninginordertoleaveadistanceofatleast4metres between two adjoining double-decker stands orsolid ceilings. Fascias must not extend higher than 2.5metresabovethefloor. Ifasignor logoexceedingthe2.5metre limit is to be fixed to the fascia, it must be theprescribed distance from the edges of the stand anddividingpartitionsinparticular.

25.Surfacearea300m²maximumfortheupperlevelitself.Onlyoneupperlevelperstandispermitted.

26.Weightlimits• 250Kg/m²forupperlevelsunder50m².• 350Kg/m²forupperlevelsover50m².

IMPORTANTExhibitorsshallproducetheircalculationsfortheirdouble-deckerstandandhavethemcheckedduringbuild-upbyaregistered inspector. canbetakenintoaccount inthenumberofexitsandstairwidths.Exitsmustbeclearlypointedoutbyasignbearingthe word “Sortie” (exit) in white letters on a greenbackground.

StraightstaircasesStraightstaircasesforpublicusemustbeconstructedsuchthatthestepscomplywiththecustomaryregulations,eachflight of stairs having no more than 25 steps. As far aspossible, the direction of the flights should alternate. Theheight of the steps must be 13 cm minimum and 17 cmmaximum.Stepsmustbeatleast28cmbutnotmorethan36cmwide.Therelationshipbetweentheheightandwidthofsteps isgovernedbytheequation0.60<2H+G<0.64m. The steps in one flightmust be of uniformheight andwidth, although an exception may be made for the firststep.Landingsshouldbethesamewidthasthestaircase:inthe case of flights not continuing in a different direction,landings should be longer than one metre. Single-widthstaircasesmust be fittedwith one handrail. Double-widthstaircasesorwidermusthaveonehandrailoneachside.

SpiralstaircasesStandardoradditionalspiralstaircasesshallbecontinuous,with no other landings apart from those serving upperlevels.Thetreadandtheheightofthestepsonthelineofflight, 0.6 metre from the newel or central void, shallconform to the regulations mentioned in the previousarticle. In addition, the outer stair treadmust not exceed0.42 metre. The handrail for single-width staircases mustbelocatedontheoutside.Stairs• Single-width:A>28cm/B<42cm.• Double-width:A>28cm/B<42cm.Stairscombiningstraightandspiralelements.On condition that both the spiral and straight elementsconformtotheaforementionedregulations,staircasesof

this type can be considered as complying with theregulations defined above and, consequently, nothingprevents their being used in establishments open to thepublic.

StairrailingsandbanistersInaccordancewithFrenchstandardsNFP01-012andNFP01-013, stair railingsmustwithstand a pressure of 100 kgper linear metre. Protective glass panels must be eitherreinforcedormadeofcompoundglass.So-called“Securit”glassisnotpermitted.

LocationStairs must be located at least 1 metre from the stand’scommon partitioning in order to avoid overlooking theneighbouring stand. When two staircases are necessary,theyshallbediametricallyopposed.

28.FirepreventionEach stand shall be fittedwith fire extinguishing facilities,including: one sprayed water extinguisher placed at thebottom of each staircase and a CO2-type extinguisherplacedneartheelectricityswitchboard.

30.CeilingsUpper levels must not be covered with a solid ceiling orcanopy.

32.CookingonthestandsExhibitorswishing topreparecooked foodon their standsmustinformSIALby11July2016.Theymustalso:• Take all necessary steps to avoid environmentalpollution.

• Conform to the safety standards (particularly withrespect to theuseof liquidgas (Article45)andhygieneregulationsinforce.

SafetyrulesregardingrisksoffireandpanicinestablishmentsopentothepublichavebeenestablishedbytheOrderdatedJune 25th, 1980 (general provisions). The Order datedNovember 18th, 1987 sets forth the specific provisionsapplicabletoexhibitionHalls.Thetextbelowisexcerptedfromsaidregulationsinordertofacilitateunderstanding.TheSafetyBoardisquitesevereregardingstandconstruction(stability, construction and decoration materials, electricalinstallations, etc.). The decisions made during Safety Boardinspections, thedaybeforeor themorning theeventopensmust be immediately implemented. Stand installation mustbecompletedforSafetyBoardinspections.Theexhibitor (orhis representative)mustbepresentat thestandandbepreparedtoprovideflammabilityreportsforallmaterials used. 2.2-SurfacingMaterials2.2.1-WallSurfacingWallsurfacing(naturaltextilesorplastics)mustbecomposedofM0,M1,orM2(1)classmaterials.Theymaybestretchedor attached with clips. Various very thin (1 mm max.)surfacing (fabric, paper, plastic films) may be used bondeddirectly on M0, M1, M2, or M3 material support surfaces.However,embossedorreliefpapermustbebondeddirectlytoM0materialsonly.Exhibitedmaterialsmaybepresentedinthestandswithoutrequiredfire-reactiontesting.Nevertheless, if said materials are used for decoratingpartitions or fake ceilings, and if they representmore than20% of the total surface of said elements, the provisionscontained in the preceding paragraphs shall apply to them.However,saidprovisionsshallnotapply totradeshowsandstands specifically for interior decoration in which textilesandwallsurfacingarepresented.(1)Ormadesobyfireproofing

2.2.2-Curtains-WallHangings-SheerCurtainsCurtains, wall hangings, and sheer curtains may be free-hangingiftheyareclassM0,M1,orM2.Theyare,however,prohibitedonstandentranceandexitdoors,butauthorizedoncabindoors.

2.2.3-PaintsandVarnishesPaints and varnishes are strictly prohibited if they aredeemedflammable(e.g.nitrocelluloseorglycerophtalic)

2.2.4-Floor,Podium,Stage,andTierSurfacingFloorsurfacingmustbecomposedofM4classmaterialsandsolidly attached. Surfacing, whether horizontal or not, ofpodiums,stages,andtiershigherthan0.3mandtotalsurfacearea greater than 20 m² must be constructed of M3 classmaterials.Iftheirtotalsurfaceareaislessthanorequalto20m²saidsurfacingmaybeconstructedinM4classmaterials.N.B.: for M3 or M4 class carpets on wood, factor in theattachmentmethod.Firereactiontestingdatamustincludethe statement: “Valid for stretched laying on M3 classsupports.”

2.3-DecorativeElements2.3.1-Free-HangingElementsDecorative elements or free-hanging decor panels(advertising panelswith a surface area greater than 0.5m²,garlands, light decorative items, etc.)must be composed ofM0orM1classmaterials.Theuseofsignsandadvertisingcontainingwhitelettersonagreen background is strictly prohibited, as said colours areexclusivelyreservedforindicatingexitsandemergencyexits.

2.3.2-FloralDecorationsFloraldecorationsandsyntheticmaterialsmustbelimited.Ifnot, said decorations must be produced using M2 classmaterials. The present provisions shall not apply to tradeshowsandstandsspecifictofloralactivitiesN.B.: For natural plants, give preference to the use of peathumuswhichmustbekeptdampatalltimes.

2.3.3-FurnitureThere are no requirements for common furniture (chairs,tables,desks,etc.).However, crates, counters, shelving,etc.mustbecomposedofM3(1)materials.

2.4-Canopies-Ceilings-SuspendedCeilingsStandswithceilings,suspendedceilings,orfullcanopiesmusthave a covered surface area less than 300 m². Should thecoveredsurfaceareabegreaterthan50m²,theappropriatefire suppression systems manned continuously by at leastone safety agent must be provided during times when thepublicispresent.

2.4.1-CanopiesCanopiesshallbeauthorizedunderthefollowingconditions:• in establishmentsprotectedby an automaticwaterbasedfire suppression system (2), the canopies must becomposedofM0,M1,orM2(1)materials,

• in establishments not protected by an automatic waterbasedfiresuppressionsystem,theymustbecomposedofM0orM1classmaterials.

In addition, they must have an effective hanging systempreventing them from fallingandbe supportedbya systemofcrosswireswithamaximummeshsizeof1m².Inallcases,ceiling and suspended ceiling suspension and attachmentmustuseM0classmaterials.Wheninsulationisplacedintheceilingorsuspendedceilingplenum,itmustbecomposedofM1classmaterials.

2.4.2-CeilingsandSuspendedCeilingsCeilingsandsuspendedceilingsmustbecomposedofM0orM1classmaterials.Nevertheless, 25% of the total surface area of ceilings andsuspendedceilingsmaybecomposedofM2classmaterials.Lighting fixtures and accessories shall be included in saidpercentage. Moreover, should the ceiling and suspendedceiling component elements be perforated or netted, theymay be composed of M2 class materials where the solidsurface is less than 50% of the total surface area of suchceilingsandsuspendedceilings.

2.5–HandicappedPersonAccessInstalling a floor pan on the ground whose thickness isgreater than7mm requires it to be fitted around its entireperimeterwitha slopewhosedepth shallbeequal to twiceitsheight(i.e.:fora2cmthickfloorpan,theslopeshallhavea 4 cm depth). This point shall constitute dispense for thecreationofanambulantdisabledpersons’entranceforfloorpansupto4cmthick.Beyondthisthickness, inaddition,allfloors where the publicmay gomust include an integratedambulantdisabledpersonsramp,whichmaynot

2.7–ExteriorStandsandMarquees,Tents,andStructuresAnybuildingorconstructions locatedoutsidetheHallsmusthave a case file indicating site location, dimensioneddrawings of the construction with surface area, number oflevels,etc.This file must be submitted for approval to the SecuritySupervisoratleasttwomonthsbeforetheevent.In some cases, smoke evacuation, verification of assembly-solidity-stability,andaverificationofelectricalfacilitiesbyanapprovedbodymayberequested.Marquee, tent, structure definition: A closed, itinerantestablishmentwithaflexiblecover,forvarioususes.This type of establishment must have an attestation ofconformity delivered by a Marquee, Tent, and StructureVerification Office. 3–ELECTRICITY

3.1-ElectricalFacilitiesThe electrical facilities for each stand must be integrallyprotected against surcharges and ground faults. All metalgrounds must be interconnected and connected to thestand’selectricalswitchboardground.Electricalconnectionsmustbemade insideconnectionhousings.Electricitycut-offsystemsmustbecontinuouslyaccessibletostandstaff.

3.2-ElectricalEquipment3.2.1-ElectricWiringElectric wiring must be insulated for a minimum of 500 V,which prohibits the use of H-03-VHH (scindex) wiring. Useonlywiring forwhicheachconductorhas itsownprotectivesheath, with all conductors housed in a single protectivesheath.

3.2.2–ConductorsTheuseofconductorswithacross-sectionlessthan1.5mm²isprohibited.

3.2.3-ElectricDevicesClass 0 (3) electric devices must be protected by nominaldifferentialcurrentsystemsofatleast30MA.Class I (3) electric devices must be connected to theprotectiveconductorintheirsupplyline.ForClassII(3)electricdevices,thosebearingthesymbolarerecommended.

3.2.4-Multi-socketsOnly fixed-based multi-sockets or adapters are allowed(mouldedmulti-sockets)

3.2.5-Halogenbulbs(EN60598standard)Lightingfixturescontaininghalogenbulbsmustbe:• placedataheightofatleast2.25m,• kept away from flammablematerials (at least 0.5m fromwoodandotherdecorativematerials),

3.2.6-High-VoltageLightedSignsHigh-voltagelightedsignswithinreachofthepublicorstandstaff must be protected, in particular the electrodes, by ascreenofM3classmaterialorbetter.Thecut-offswitchmustbeindicatedandtransformersplacedinaspotthatdoesnotpose a danger to people. Their presence may be indicatedwithasign“Danger,HighVoltage.”(3)asdefinedinstandardNFC20-030

4-CLOSEDSTANDS-ROOMSSETUPINTHEHALLS

4.1-ClosedStandsSome Exhibitorsmay prefer to be isolated in closed stands.Such standsmust complywith decoration rules on page 23Article 5 and must have direct exits to travel ways. Theirnumberandsizeshallbebasedonstandsurfacearea,i.e.:• Lessthan20m²:one0.9mexit• from20to50m²:2exits,one0.9m,theother0.6m• from51to100m²:eithertwo0.9mexitsor2exits,one1.4m,theother0.6m

• from101to200m²:eithertwoexits,one1.4m,theother0.9m,orthree0.9mexits

Exits must be evenly distributed (1 every 6 m) and onoppositessidesifpossible.Eachofthemmustbeindicated

withan“Exit” sign inclearlyvisiblewhite lettersonagreenbackground.Ifthestandisclosedwithdoors,theymustopenoutwards,withnolockingsystem,andwithoutswingingintotraffic.

4.2-RoomsSetupintheHallsIndependently of surfaces reserved for exhibition, meetingrooms, restaurants, movie theatres, or presentation roomswithstagesortiers,etc.maybesetup.Platformsandtiersforstandingmusthavearesistanceof600kilos per m². Platforms and tiers with seats must have aresistanceof400kilosperm².Stairsaccessingtiersmusthaveaheightofatleast0.1mandat most 0.2 m with a going of at least 0.2 m. In this caseflightsofstairsarelimitedto10andnosealignmentmustnotexceed45°.As each case is specific, a detailed drawing must besubmitted to the Safety Supervisor who shall define themeasurestobeapplied.

5–RAISEDLEVELS

5.1-GeneralRemarksIn accordance with standard NF P 06-001, raised levelfacilitiesmustbesufficientlysolidtoresistweightsof:• forlevelsoflessthan50m²surfacearea:250kilosperm²,• forlevelsof50m²andover:350kilosperm².Undernocircumstancesmayraisedlevelsbecovered.N.B.:Themethodforcalculatingweightsorfloorresistancecertification must be submitted to the trade show SafetySupervisorduringtheassemblyperiod.Inaddition,acertificatefromanapprovedorganizationmustcertifystandstability.Inaddition,anapprovedorganizationmustverifythestabilityofallraisedlevels.Piercing resistancemustnotbegreater than thatpermittedin the relevant site. Each stand may only have one raisedlevel. Its surfaceareamustbe less than300m².Each standmust be fitted with fire suppression systems, i.e.: a watersprayextinguisher,placedatthebottomofeachstairwayanda CO2 extinguisher located near the electrical switchboard.Should the raised level be greater than 50 m², theappropriate supplemental fire suppression means must bemanned by at least one safety agent at all timeswhen thepublicispresent.

5.2–EntrancesandExitsRaised levels must be served by evenly distributed stairs,whosenumberandwidthshallbebasedonthesurfaceareaofsaidlevels,i.e.:• upto19m²:one0.9mstairway,• from20to50m²:2stairways:one0.9m,theother0.6m,• from 51 to 100 m²: either two 0.9 stairways, or twostairwaysone1.4mandtheother0.6m,

• from 101 to 200 m²: 2 stairways, one 1.4 m, the other0.9m,

• from201to300m²:two1.4mstairways.

5.3–StraightStairsStraightstairsforpubliccirculationmustbeconstructedsuchthatthestepscomplywithprofessionalstandardsandflightshavenomorethan25steps.Insofaraspossible,flightsmustbe in opposite directions. Step height must be between atleast13cmand17cmatmost;widthmustbeatleast28cmand36cmatmost.Stepheightandwidthmustberelatedasfollows: 0.6m< 2H +G< 0.64m. Said heights andwidthsmust be regular in the same flight, although this is notrequired for the first step. Landings must be of the samewidth as the stairs; for fights in the samedirection, landinglength must be greater than one metre. Stairways whosewidthisatleastonepassageunitwidemusthaveahandrail(passage unit = 0.9 m) Those whose width is two passageunitsorgreatermusthaveahandrailoneachside.

5.4–SpiralStairsNormal or supplementary spiral stairs must have acontinuouscurve,withoutlandingsotherthanatfloors.Stepgoing and height in the stride line, 0.6m from the core orcentral gap, must comply with professional standards asindicatedintheprecedingArticle.Moreover,stepexteriorgoingmustbelessthan0.42m.For stairs with a single passage unit, the handrail must belocatedontheouteredge.

5.5-StairswithStraightandSpiralSectionsIn so far as a stairway complies, in its various straight andspiral sections, with the professional standards defined inparagraphs 5.3 and 5.4 hereinabove, said stairway shall bedeemed in compliancewith regulationsandmaybeused inestablishmentsopentothepublic.

5.6-GuardrailsandStairwayRampsInaccordancewithstandardsNFP01-012andNFP01-013,guardrailsmustresistthrustof100kilosperlinearmetre.Glass panels used as protection must be reinforced or plyglass.Socalled“securit”glassisprohibited.

6-LIQUEFIEDGASES

6.1-GeneralRemarksBottlesofgas,butaneorpropane,shallbealloweduptoone13 kilo bottle at most for every 10 m² of stand with amaximumof sixper stand.The followingmeasuresmustbetaken:There must be at least 5 metres of space between twobottles, unless they are separated by a rigid, non-combustible,1cmthickscreen.No bottle, empty or full,must remainwithin the exhibitionhallifitisnotconnectedtoaworkingline.Bottles must be connected to the device by a standard-compliantflexiblehose.Suchhosesmust:• bereplacedattheirexpirationdate,• be appropriate in connector diameter and fitted withclampingcollars,

• notexceed2metresinlength,• be inspectable for their entire length and move freelywithoutclamping,

• not be reachable by burner flames or by combustionproducts.

6.2-DeviceSupplyIf,exceptionally,abottleistosupplyseveraldevices,tubingmustbemadeofmetal (copperor steel).Using solder forconnectionsisprohibited.Bottlesmustalwaysbeplaceduprightandthecut-offvalvemust remain accessible in all circumstances. All closed-inareaswheretheyarestoredmust include,onthetopandbottom,airventsplacedsoasnottobeblockedbyawall,furniture,oraneighbouringdevice.

6.3-InstallingCookingEquipmentIn addition to the abovementioned rules, the followingmeasuresmustbetaken:• The floor (or table) supporting the cooking equipmentmust be composed of non-combustible material orsurfacedwithM0materials.

• Cooking equipment must be kept at an appropriatedistancefromanycombustiblematerialandbe installedsoastopreventanyfiredanger.

Eachfacilitymust:- have safety instructions (steps to take in case of fire,numbersforemergencyservices...)-befittedwithoneormoreextinguishers.

7-OPERATINGEQUIPMENT-INTERNALCOMBUSTIONENGINES

Every machine presented in operation during the tradeshow must be declared beforehand, at least one monthbefore the event opens.Only installations that havebeendeclaredmaybeauthorized.Allequipmentmustbecorrectlystabilizedtoavoidrisksofoverturning. All protective measures must be fullycompletedwhentheSafetyBoardpassesfor inspection.Aperson in a position of authority must be present at thestandatthistime.No machine may be started or presented operationalwithout qualified personnel present at the stand. Allpresentations and demonstrations shall be conductedundertheExhibitor’ssoleresponsibility.The electrical power supply shall be suspended, at therelevantexhibitor’sexpense,toanystandwheremachinesinoperationpresentadangertothepublicandforwhichnomeasureshavebeentakentoeliminatethem.

7.1 - Equipment Presented in Operation at a PermanentStationEquipmentpresented inoperationatapermanent stationmust include appropriate permanent screens or casings,

preventingthepublicfromaccessingdangerousparts,orbeplaced such that thedangerous parts are kept away fromthepublic,andattheleast,atadistanceofonemetrefromtrafficcircuits.

7.2-EquipmentPresentedinMovementWhereequipment is presented inmovement, a protectedareamustbesetasidesothatthepublicmaynotapproachcloser than one meter - said distance may be increasedgiven the characteristics of the equipment presented.Theseprovisionsshallbevalidforallstands,includingthoseintheopenair.

7.3-EquipmentwithHydraulicCylindersIf equipment with hydraulic cylinders is exposed instationary extended position, hydraulic safeties must besupplemented by a mechanical system preventing anyunexpectedretraction.

7.4-InternalCombustionEnginesApproval for theuseof internal combustionenginesmustberequestedbeforehandatleast30daysbeforetheeventopens.Suchrequest,onplainpaper(tobeattachedtothedeclarationforthemachineordeviceinoperationincludedin theappendix),must specify the typeanddailyquantityof fuel used and be accompanied by the device’sdescriptiveleaflet,andadrawingofthedevice’sinstallationonthestand.Nodeviceof this typemaybe started if theauthorizationrequestwasnotsubmittedontime.WARNING: in any case, combustion gases must beevacuatedoutsidetheHalls.

8-FLAMMABLELIQUIDS

8.1-GeneralRemarksThe use of flammable liquids shall be limited to thefollowingquantitiesperstand:• 10litresofcategory2flammableliquidsforevery10m²ofstand,withamaximumof80litres,

• 5 litres of category 1 flammable liquids. The use ofparticularly flammable liquids (carbon disulphide,ethylene oxide, etc.) is prohibited. The followingmeasuresmustbetaken:

• placeareceptacleunderthetanksorcontainerscapableofholdingalltheliquid,

• refillthedeviceoutsidethepresenceofthepublic,placetheappropriateextinguishersnearby.

8.2-ExhibitingAutomobilesinsidetheHallsExhibitingautomobilesorothervehiclesshallbepermittedwithin the Halls if they have a direct relationship to theexhibition. Installing “stand” semi-trailers or similar isprohibited. The gas tanks for motors presented stoppedmust be empty or fitted with locked caps. Accumulatorbattery terminals must be protected so as to beinaccessible.

8.3-PresentingFlammableProductsAll containers for flammable liquids presented on thestands (paint or varnish cans, bottles, aerosol cans, etc.)mustbeemptyexceptforafewsamplesinlimitedquantityfordemonstrations.

9.1-RadioactiveSubstancesAuthorization topresent radioactivesubstancesonexhibitstandsmayonlybegrantedfordemonstratingdevicesandwheresubstanceradioactivityislessthan:

• 37 kilobecquerels (1microcurie) for those composed ofGroupI(4)radioelements,

• 370kilobecquerels (10microcuries) for thosecomposedofGroupII(4)radioelements,

• 3,700 kilobecquerels (100 microcuries) for thosecomposedofGroupIII(4)radioelements.

• Waiversmaybe granted for the use of substanceswithhigheractivitysubjecttothefollowingmeasures:

• radioactivesubstancesmustbeeffectivelyprotected,• their presence must be indicated using the ionisationradiationschematicsdefinedinstandardNFM60-101,aswellastheirtypeandradioactivity,

• their removal by the public must be made materiallyimpossibleeitherbyattachmenttoadevicerequiringtheuseofatooltoremoveorbydistance,

These regulatory texts, aswellasthesitespecifications,canbeconsultedbycontactingtheOrganizer.Managementofparking(anditsduration),trafficmovementsand access to delivery vehicles displaying authorisation willbesetuparoundtheHallsandinthepark.Any vehicle even parked, must be able to be identified.Privatevehiclesmustbeparkedinthecarparks.TheymustnotapproachthesurroundingsoftheHalls.

III.4.2TrafficmovementsinsidetheHalls.Nodeliveryorprivatevehicleswillbeallowed intheHalls,during the assembly and dismantling periods, withoutaccessauthorisationfromtheorganizer.Means of transporting people (motorised or not) such as:scooter, bicycle, roller blades, electric vehicles, etc. areprohibitedintheHalls.Plans showing trafficmovement areas, position and contactdetails of emergency services, the location of open toiletfacilities, access schedules for machines and the storageareaswillbepostedattheentries.Thefreemovement(ofmenand liftingequipment)aroundthestandsmustbepossibleatalltimesduringassemblyanddismantling. The security aisles define on the exhibitiongeneral plan must be respected and kept free of anymaterialsorcrates.TheremustbenostorageorparkingonthetrafficmovementareasdefinedontheplanoftheHalls.

IV.HANDLINGCONDITIONS

IV.1.GENERALREMARKSThe movement of machines presents risks and must bereducedtoaminimumbystrictmanagementanddistributionoftheequipment.CompanieslistedbytheExhibitorareaskedtosetupmeansof identifying the machines and the men (stickers,identificationjackets,etc.).Lifting and handling equipment must satisfy therequirementsofcurrentregulations.Theymustbekept ingoodworkingorderandhavesatisfiedregularinspectionsinconformitywiththeArticleR4535-7ofCodeofwork.MachinesmustholdthefollowingdocumentsArticleL4711-1oftheCodeofWork• Validinsurancecertificate.• Valid certificate of conformity (checking report of liftingdevices).

It isstrictly forbiddentoclimbonmachinenotprovidedtotransportpassenger.Necessary organizationalmeasures should be taken to limitrecoursetomanualhandlingtotheminimum(ArticleR4541-3oftheCodeofWork).

However,whenitcannotbeavoided,theemployermusttakeappropriate measures or put at disposal to the workers,suitedmeasures, to limitphysicaleffortand to reduce incurrisks during the handling (mechanical assistance, graspingmeans).The weight of the loads must be reduced and the workingpost must be adjusted to do the handlings in the bestconditions(workingspace,reductionofthedistancethattheloadsneedmoving…).Thestaffmustbe trained in the risksofhandlings.The loadmust not split when it is moved. For the handling of glasspanels, it is recommended touse suction cups. In the sameway,forhandlingplywoodsheets,theuseofhandlingclipsorpanelcarriersisrecommended.Thecontainersofbulkloadsintendedtobehungonworkingequipment used for liftingmust be capable of resisting theeffortsundergoneduringtheloading,transport,handlingandstorage of the load and be fitted to prevent the untimelycollapseofallorpartoftheloadduringthesameoperations.Theuseof straps to fix the loose loadson the forksof theliftingtrucksisobligatory.

EXHIBITORSSAFETYINSTRUCTIONS 8/14IV.2.USEOFMACHINESWITHANENGINEThedriversmustbeatleast18yearsofageandholddrivingpermits issuedby theemployeraswell as theCACES (safedrivingaptitudecertificate)andtheSpecialMedicalFitnessCertificate.The speed limit must be respected for any movementoutsidetheHalls.ItmustbereducedandappropriateinsidetheHalls.These documents must be available for inspection on thesite. The users of these machines must comply with themanufacturer’s instructions. No carrying a passenger, nolifting a person if the machine is not intended for thepurpose, USE OF NON-POLLUTING MACHINES adapted tothetasks,places,loadsandconfigurationoftheground.• The speed limit must be respected for any movementoutsidetheHalls.

• ItmustbereducedandappropriateinsidetheHalls.IV.3.LIFTINGREGULATIONSLiftingmachinesmust be used only for transportation andliftingofequipmentandmaterial.Liftingandtransportationof people must be done only with specially designedequipment.Foranyuseofa crane,a special requestmustbemade totheOrganizer.This requestmustspecifywhere thecranewillbeoperatingand the technical constraints of use and assembly. TheseconstraintsmustappearinthecompanyI.H.S.P.P.Theworkareaofthecranemustbesecured.The certificate of conformity of this equipment must beavailableforinspection.It is essential that the company, which provides theequipment, exclusively carries out the maintenance andoperation of all lifting gear. This equipment is the soleresponsibilityofthiscompany.Whateverthemeansofliftingused,theusersmusttakecarenottoworkoveranyotherworkersandtotakeallnecessarysafetyprovisions.Movementswith loads inhighpositionarebanned,exceptwiththepresenceofaguidewhomustwarnthepeopleofthisoperation.Onthecarparksortheoutsideexhibitionareas,themotionspace of the crane in relation to the surrounding high-tensioncablesmustbetakenintoaccount.Thejibmustnotapproachthesecablesatlessthan5meters.(ArticleR4534-108oftheCodeofWork).The maximum load indications of each strap must berespected.The lifting works must be done in accordance with theArticlesR4534-95à102oftheFrenchCodeofWork.

• Toplacemetalpartsonaccumulatorbatteries.IIV.4.STORAGEIt is imperative formaterials tobe storedon theaisles (orpartsofaisles)reservedforthispurpose,intheenclosureoftheworksiteorthestorageareaswhentheyareprovided.Forthispurpose,trafficmovementplanswillbepostedattheaccesses to the Halls. The schedules and restrictions of usewillbespecifiedontheseplans.Allworkersareaskedtorespecttheseplansscrupulously.Attheendofassembly,racks,pallets,etc.mustnotbestoredinsidetheshowandintheareasbehindthecladdings(unlessauthorisedtodosobytheOrganizer).Machines must not be stored, during the assembly /dismantling period, in the trafficmovement aisles, but in astorage area determined with the Organizer’s technicalmanagers.The companies working for the building of the stand (andtheir subcontractors) must schedule the arrival of theirequipment and materials, their distribution, as well as thedepartureofemptypackagingsothattheydonotinterfereatany time with the movement of machines and men in theaislesFor theperiodwhenopento thepublic,nomachinewillbeallowedintheenclosureoftheHalls.

The worksite must be kept clean at all times to preventhazards that could be causedby rubbish blocking theaislesaroundthestand.Exhibitingcompaniesareresponsible forcleaningtheirsiteandremovingtheirrubbleandwasteofallkinds.They must plan the reservation and removal of skips andorganise how they are filled. It is the responsibility of eachworkereithertocovertheskips,ortoweighdowntherubbletopreventitfromflyingaround.Youareremindedthatnoworkermustclimbintoaskiportruck.During the dismantling period, removal of the differentdecorationpartsmustnotblockthecirculationofmenandmachinesintheaislesaroundthestand.VI.INSTALLATIONSAVAILABLEDURINGASSEMBLYANDDISMANTLINGPERIODSVI.1.TOILETSTo ease the general organization of assembly anddismantling, and improveworking conditions, theOrganizerwill ask the Venue to open additional communal toiletfacilitiesintheexhibitionHallsfromthefirstdayofassemblytotheendofdismantling.Amaintenanceservicewillseetothecleaningofthesefacilities.The toilet facilities that are open will be indicated on theplanspostedupattheHallsentrances.VI.2.CLOAKROOMS/CANTEENThe company is required to place cloakroom facilities (ifnecessary) at their staff’s disposal, in application of currentlegaltexts,availableforconsultationfromtheOrganizer.Therewillbenocanteenformeals.

VI.3.TELEPHONEONSITEEach company places at its staff’s disposal a telephoneaccessiblewhenthesiteisopenforwork.VI.4.ACCOMMODATIONThe Company is responsible for providing off-siteaccommodationforitsstaff.VII.ACCESSCONTROLVIII.1.WORKFORCEVIII.1.1.MEDICALFITNESSAll personnel called upon to work on the site must berecognised as beingmedically FIT, and have undergone theobligatorymedicalexaminationsandvaccinationsassociatedwith the exercise of their profession, as well as thoserequired by Medicine of Work. These certificates must beavailableonthesite.

VIII.1.2.SAFETYTRAININGIn conformity with current regulations, and at its ownresponsibility, the companymust ensure that every workerarriving on the site has attended safety-training sessions(presentationofspecialrisks,conditionsoftrafficmovementsoutsideandinsidethesite,safetyconditionsapplicablewhencarryingoutwork, special safety instructions,explanationoftheoperatingmethod,follow-upofpreventivemeasuresthathavebeendefinedforeachtask inthe IndividualSafetyandHealthProtectionPlan).VIII.2.REGISTERSVIII.2.1.LEGALREGISTERSThe enterprisemust hold obligatory legal documents at thesite, as theymay be asked for by administrative inspectionservices.VIII.2.2.JOINTSITEVISITSWhen they arrive on the assembly and dismantling site,companieswhohaveneverworkedon the sitebeforemustmake a joint inspection visitwith the Safety Coordinator oftheir stand. A site visit file will be established by theCoordinatorandsignedbyeachcompanymanager.ThesafetyandprotectionmeasuresaredefinedwiththesitemanagersandthestandSafetyCoordinatorinreferencewiththe G.H.S.P.C.P established by the Coordinator, takingaccountoftheeventG.H.S.P.C.Paccordingtothestateofthesiteatthetimeofthevisitandthewaythevisitiscarriedout.VIII.3.PROTECTIONSThe workers are reminded that they must give priority toCOLLECTIVE protections over INDIVIDUAL protections,anytimethatitistechnicallypossible.VIII.3.1.COLLECTIVEPROTECTIONSDefinition:Standardisedmeansofprotectionsetupbyacompany(barriers,nets,floor,cladding,guardrails…)designedtoensurethecollectivesafetyofstaffworkingataheightoronanupperfloorduringassemblyanddismantling.Thiscollectiveprotectionmustberigidcomposedofahighandlowhandrailandabaseboard,safelyattachedandmustbeinstalledfromtheoutsidewithappropriatemeans,beforeanyworkispurchasedonastoreyoratheightduringassemblyordismantling.Itmustberemovedonlyaftertheinstallationofthedefinitiveprotectionorpartition.Thestairsmustbeassembledasapriorityandmadesafebyguardrailsassoonastheyaresetup.Thestairscavitiesmustbeprotected(closedorwithaguardrail).Materialdeliveriesaccessmustbesecured.Forthedismantlingalltheseprotectionmustbereinstalled.EachcompanymustdescribethecollectiveprotectionplannedinhisIndividualHealthandSafetyProtectionPlan.

EXHIBITORSSAFETYINSTRUCTIONS 10/14The company in charge of the building and dismantling ofthe double decker marquee must put in place for thedelivery access, a system that provide at anytime acollective protection for the people working on themezzanine.The company must see to the maintenance of collectiveprotectionsandwillbeheldresponsibleifworkiscarriedoutin areas not prepared and not protected. Itmust interveneimmediatelyatanydirectrequestfromthestandCoordinatortorestoreorsupplementtheseprotections.ArticleR4323-65:Thecollectiveprotectiondevicesmustbedesigned and installed in order to avoid a gap atworkstation access points namely when a ladder orstaircase isused.Howeverwhensuchagap isunavoidablemeasuresmustbetakentoensureequivalentsafety.If a company fails to establish collective protection, theabsence ofwhich constitutes a risk for other trades and itsown staff, theexhibiting companywill have these collectiveprotectivemeasuressetupbyacompanyofitschoice,attheexpenseofthedefaultingcompany.Any ensuing work stoppage will also be charged to thedefaultingcompany.No double storey building is planned on this exhibition.RefertothechapterIX.ofthisdocument:“Generalrulesofconstruction”IX.2."Workingatheight".

VIII.3.2.INDIVIDUALPROTECTIONSWhen collective protection system cannot be implemented,theworkersprotectionmustbeensuredbyappropriate“stopfalling”systemthatcannotpermitafreefallasmoreasonemeter.Whenthiskindofequipmentisused,theworkermustneverleavealone.Companiesthathavetointerveneduringtheassemblyanddismantlingperiodsmust,amongotherthings,providetheirstaff with the following individual protection equipment(IPE):• Workclothes,• Glovesadaptedtothework,• Safetyhardhatscompliantwithstandards,• Safetyshoes(reinforcedtoes+anti-perforationsoles),• Safety harness that conforms to standards when thecollective protection provisions cannot be implemented.(ArtR4223-61oftheCodeofWork),

• Weldingmaskandsafetygogglesduringwelding,unloadingorgrindingwork.

Respect for these provisions, and the upkeep and goodcondition of this equipment is the responsibility of eachcompany.Wearing safety shoes (safety toe-caps + anti-perforationsoles) is compulsory foranypersonentering the showsiteduringtheassemblyanddismantlingperiods.Forallpeopleworkingfromelevatedplatformsandanytaskpresentingarisk,wearingahardhatiscompulsory.

IX.GENERALRULESOFCONSTRUCTION

IX.1.DECORATIONSThedecorationsmust,asmuchaspossible,arriveonthesitereadytobeassembledsoastoreducebuildingoperationstotheminimumandtheriskswhichresultfromthis.Theymustbedesignedforsafe,cleandismantling.Itisstrictlyforbiddento«blowout»panelsandpartitionsduringdismantling.

IX.2.WORKINGATHEIGHTSDecree nr 2004-924 of 01.09.2004 concerning the use ofwork equipment made available for temporary work at aheight and integrating new provisions in the labour code(ArticlesR4323-58toR4323-90).It is obligatory for companies installingmarquees, tentsorstructures, during the assembly, maintenance anddismantling periods, to set up collective protectionmeasuresappropriate foranyworkon roofsby their staff.The methods considered for carrying out this work mustappearinthecompanyI.H.S.P.P.In any case the people working for the building anddismantlingmusthaveacertificatetoworkatheightandavalid authorization fromhis employer.Ladders, stepladdersandfootstepplatformsmustnotbeusedasworkpositions.(ArticleR4323-63oftheCodeofWork)

EXHIBITORSSAFETYINSTRUCTIONS 11/14Howeverthesefacilitiesmaybeusedwhenitisimpossibletouse equipment providing a collective protection to theworkersorwhentheriskhasbeenevaluatedaslowandtheworkisforashortandnon-repetitivelengthoftime(ArticleR4323-63oftheCodeofWork).The companies may work at heights with scaffoldings ormobileplatforms.Approved personnel must assemble scaffolding, respectingthe directives or instructions of the manufacturer; theplatforms must be correctly positioned, guardrails andstabilitypropsmustbeinplace.ArticleR4323-77:Scaffoldingmustbefittedontheexteriorsides with collective protection devices as outlined inparagraph2oftheArticleR4323-59.Thescaffoldingmustbelevelwhenitisused.Thewheelsofmobilescaffoldingmustbelockedinpositionwhenthescaffoldingisinuse.No worker must remain on mobile scaffolding while it isbeingmoved.Fortheassemblyofscaffolding,steps,etc…,itisessentialforcompaniestoequiptheirpersonnelwithhardhatsandsafetyharness, in addition to safety shoes and gloves. They mustmake sure that the use of these I.P. by their personnel iseffective.Legal restrictions concerning work at heights must berespected.

IX.3.MEASURESTAKENCONCERNINGCO-ACTIVITYCompanies must provide a detailed assembly anddismantlingscheduleintheirI.H.S.P.PAny work which might create a situation placing workersovereachothermustberesolvedbycarryingouttheworkatdifferenttimes,orwithspecialprotectionarrangements.Within the framework of the timetable of assembly anddismantling work, companies acting on the same site musttake all appropriate individual protection measures toprevent hazards caused by superimposed work, particularlyduring the installation and dismantling of gantries,signposting, lightadjustmentsofthealtimetricreadings,andassembly/dismantlingoflargeequipment.The Exhibitor or his project manager must set up a workschedule taking into account a chronological order ofassembly, to avoid tasks at different levels in the same siteandtocarryoutthesetasksusingsuitablemeans.• These means can be common to several workers orcompanies.

• Thischronologicalorderwillbeinthesamewayadaptedtodismantling.

The external working areas must be marked out orcordonedoffwith barriers so that they are inaccessible topeople not involved with the assembly. The fences orbarriersmustinallcasesbestabilisedsoasnottooverturniftherearegustsofwindorifknockedintobyavehicle.IX.4.SITECONNECTIONS/LIGHTINGIX.4.1.REGULATIONSElectrical installations on the worksite must be carried outaccordingtoregulationsinforce.The personnel working on the electrical installations musthavereceivedtrainingandmustholdanapprovalcertificateunderpublicationUTEC18510.Moreover, companies, which use the installations, arerequiredtopointoutimmediatelyanydefectordeteriorationtheyobservetothemanagersoftheExhibitionsite.An approved body must inspect the worksite electricalinstallationbeforebeingbroughtintoservice.Thisinspectionreport must be available for consultation and kept on sitethroughouttheassemblyanddismantlingperiods.

EXHIBITORSSAFETYINSTRUCTIONS 12/14To avoid risks of electrocution, deterioration of electricitycables,andthemultiplicationofconnectionsonasameline,unauthorised connections on the existing power points intheHallswillnotbetolerated.All theworksitecablesandextension leadsmustbe ingoodconditionandcompliantwithcurrentstandards.WorksiteelectricitycabinetsareavailablefromthePark.IX.4.3.LIGHTINGThegenerallightingintheworkareasmustbecompliantwithlighting regulations determined by Decree nr 83.721 of 2August1983andrepeated intheCodeofWork inArticlesR4223-1to12.Lightintensityinworkingareasmustbeatleast120Lux,and60Luxintrafficmovementaisles.The assembly and dismantling of decors may obscure thelight in the Halls (roofing, canopy, stretched ceiling,mezzaninefloor…),soprovisionallightingmustbeprovided.IX.5. PREVENTION OF RISKS OF PROFESSIONALDISEASES5.1.HAZARDOUSMATERIALSItisimperativeforanycompanythatneedstousehazardousproducts to send the safety data sheets to the SafetyCoordinatorandtotheFireSafetyControlAgency,andputinplacetheprotectionmeasuresspecifiedonthesheet.Companies are informed that any glue, resins, paint andproductsusedmustbefreefromsolvent,ether,glycol,andbeodourlessandantiallergic.

IX.5.2.NOISEDISTURBANCETheuseofnoisymachinesorequipmentmustadherestrictlytocurrentregulations.All necessary methods and provisions must be used (hood,screen, silencer etc…) so as not to exceed the regulatorylimitsasregardsacousticlevels.IX.6.RULESFORUSEOFELECTRICALTOOLS,FIXEDORPORTABLEToavoiddust, fumesemissionornoxiousemanationswhenfixed or portable electrical tools are used (saws, sanders,blowtorches, welding torches, etc…), efficient protectionmeansmustbeprovided(centralvacuum,masks,glasses…).Only water disc cutters will be allowed for cutting tiles,stones…To be accepted into the Halls, electrical tools, fixed orportable, must be fitted with a vacuum or dust collectionsystem.(Art.R4412-70oftheCodeofWork)

Theseappliancesmustbecompliantwiththestandards(CE),be in good operating condition and fitted with theirprotectiveshields.Theymust innocircumstancesbeplacedin themovement aisles, and the electricity supply must bedisconnectedwhentheyarenotinuse.IX.7.WORKINVOLVINGHEATForanyworkinvolvingheat(grindingorweldingoperation),a“FIREPERMIT”mustbeapplied for fromthevenuepersonincharge.IX.7.1.INFLAMMABLEMATERIALSANDPRODUCTSGasbottlesunderpressuremustbeprotected fromknocks,falls andheat, andnounauthorisedpersonmustbeable tohaveaccesstothem.Itisforbiddentokeeporstoregasbottles,fullorempty,inthehall.
