Cleanrooms by „turn key“ solutions
Cleanrooms are spaces in which surgeries are performed, conduct scientific research and actions are done. These ac-tions can not come into contact with pollutants such asdust, air microbes and aerosol particles. Without clean-rooms today it is impossible to imagine manufacturing faci-lities of pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, food, dairy andother industries that are sensitive to contamination fromthe environment. Cleanrooms can be entire production fa-cilities on more floors.
Cleanroom is defined and controlled space that is construc-ted in a way that input, generation, collection and retentionof particulates (contaminants) is minimized and controlled. It is the area in which filtered air has a positive pressure re-lative to surrounding areas in all operating conditions andwhere air efficiently washes the space. Cleanroom is thespace in which all relevant parameters are strictly control-led: temperature (19°C-25°C), humidity (45%-60%), noise, lighting and other parameters.
Standards and requirements for the production of medica-ments and surgical activities represent the concept of clean-rooms. Klimaoprema Cleanroom Technology designscleanroom spaces for production of sterile medicaments inwhich air is supplied through the appropriate filter efficiency(HEPA) and is necessary to maintain the difference in pres-sure between the individual zones. Cleanroom areas are de-signed to meet the requirements for the number of particlesin stationary (at-rest) and work (in operation) and theseconditions must be defined for each room (class) separately.
Cleanrooms are classified according to the number and sizeof permitted particles per volume of air. The standards defineair cleanliness. Large numbers such as "Class 100" or "Class1000" refer to US FED STD 209E, and indicate the numberof particles with a size 0.5 µm or larger per cubic foot of air. Thus, Class 100 according to the US FED 209E standard sti-pulates that the number of particles of size 0.5 µm or largermust not exceed a value of 100 particles per 1 ft³.
5
Small numbers refer to ISO 14644-1 standards, which specifythe decimal logarithm of the particle size 0.1 µm or largerper cubic meter of air. Thus, for example, cleanroom ISOclass 5 has a maximum 105 = 100,000 particles per m³. Sinceapproximately 1 m³ is equal to 35 ft³, these two standardsare nearly equal when measured particles from 0.5 µm, alt-hough the testing standards are different. Plain air in theroom approximately is in class 1.000.000 or ISO 14644-9.
Necessary regulations when designing cleanrooms are GMPstandards (Good Manufacturing Practice) according to whichprinciples and guidelines should take place and to which pro-duction in the pharmaceutical industry should be documented.
GMP provides instant and consistent quality control. Our em-ployees continuously acquire new technologies to improvethe quality of products and offer the same service level as inEuropean countries. Project department staff of KlimaopremaCleanroom Technology are certified GMP standard experts.
Knowing the design and development of cleanroom spaceswe make the overall project by “turn-key” solutions, andwe equip the cleanrooms. We are permanently oriented to-wards customers whose needs we monitor and analyzewith particular care by designing and manufacturing clean-rooms in pharmacie, operating rooms, facilities for the pro-duction of food, engineering facilities, plants and otherelectronic industries.
As a leading manufacturer of equipment for cleanrooms inCroatia and the region, Klimaoprema Cleanroom Techno-logy proves its quality not only through the final product, but by knowledge and professionalism of personnel whoprovide delivery, installation, manufacturing and communi-cation with business partners. Contact us with confidenceand Klimaoprema Cleanroom Technology will your conceptor idea that is just getting started, design, produce, as-semble, equip, validate and service the cleanroom.

Paneling Systems
As houses are designed, cleanrooms are designedas well. All the elements that make a house; walls, floors, windows, doors and other elements, makea cleanroom also. The house is a safe home to itsowner and a cleanroom is safe place for opera-tors, pharmacists, surgeons and other staff.
Cleanrooms must be designed, constructed andadapted to suit the operations performed inthem. Project design should minimize the risk ofcontamination, dust and other impurities.
Lighting, temperature, humidity and ventilationmust comply with the requirements of actionsand must not affect the quality of the act or theoperation of the equipment.
Flow of people, materials and equipment must bein one direction as far as possible, in order toavoid possible interference and contamination.
Arrangement of space must allow orderly and lo-gical arrangement of material and equipment inorder to avoid possible cross-contamination andto exclude the risk of discharge or replacementof any phase of the operation or control.
Walls, floors and ceilings in cleanrooms shouldbe of impermeable material, smooth, withoutcracks and easily washable, and finishing of walls, floors and ceilings must be rounded.
The basic process fuels are an integral part of theplant, and their distribution to the place of con-sumption should be performed by the shortestroutes and connection to consumers should befrom the ceiling.
When designing and installing power lines it isimportant to avoid dents and ensure that theymaintain outside of cleanrooms.
Drains must be of adequate size and with nopossibility of spills or returned flow.
It is necessary to ensure an adequate exhaust sy-stem to control contaminants in case of eventualfailure of ventilation system.
It is necessary to ensure adequate electrical andpower supply.
Access to the facility must be controlled and li-mited to authorized persons with access to en-crypted or card reader.
Servicing and replacement of filters is performedin cleanrooms and service and replacement oflamps is performed from the technical area.
Conceptual design is the first step to successfulconstruction of cleanroom whose base are walls- panel systems.

Certificates:l TÜV München
Environmental and ambient air contains microorganisms, microbes, ferments, fungi, bacteria, viruses and other particles, and as such can not be distributedin the cleanroom. Basic requirements for the design of ventilation systemsin cleanrooms are:
• Air in space should be clean, without dust or other impurities• Temperature and relative humidity in indoor space should meet the cal-culated requirements depending on the purpose and activities in space
• Total air flow must contain at least some share of the outside fresh airDesign of ventilation systems is determinated by the process of bringing andtaking outside fresh air into the building, through projected openings, in orderto achieve and maintain a certain quality of air in the inner space. Air qualityin the inner space is a term associated with friendliness, health and produc-tivity of people who are in the space.
Air-handling unitsTechnical features:
l Hygienic air-handling units - specially constructed de-vices for air-conditioning of operating rooms, clean-rooms, laboratories, pharmaceutical and electronicfacilities
l Made from materials that do not pose any threat tohuman health and do not facilitate the growth ofharmful micro organisms
l Internal surfaces made of wear-resistant materials andeasily accessible for cleaning and disinfection purposes
l All parts for air movement should allow easy inspec-tion, cleaning and disinfection
l Control cabinets with all neccessary elements ofDDC regulation and elements of power installations(bimetals, contactors, cam control switches)
