THE GRANT COUNTY HU-MANE SOCIETY in Elbow Lake is looking for 1-2 people to work nights and some weekends. Depending on what shift (weekend days - different) letting animals out, feeding and watering. Wash-ing food dishes, cleaning litter boxes, dispensing medi-cines when needed, washing and drying bedding. You are paid during your training pe-riod. Average nightly shift is 2 hours, 6 p.m. to 8 or 6:30 p.m. to 8:30. If scheduled for weekend days, average hours are 8 to noon. Start-ing wage is $ 9.25 an hour with a possible 25 cent raise after 90 day evaluation on work. Dependability is vital. Average hours of work are 6, more if you work a weekend morning. We have animals in our care that need to be fed and taken care of 24 / 7 365 days of the year. And a no-show cannot happen, no matter what the weather is like.
