Sealed Bids, in duplicate, addressed to The Lakes of South Shore Harbour Community As-sociation, on behalf of South Shore Harbour Municipal Utility District No.7, will be received at the office of Clark Condon, 10401 Stella Link, Houston, Texas 77025, until 10:30 a.m.. Local Time, July 17, 2020, and then publicly opened and read for “The Lakes of South Shore Har-bour Perimeter Fencing Improvements for The Lakes of South Shore Harbour Community As-sociation.” Social distancing protocols will be observed during the bid opening and bid-ders who wish to remain present during the bid opening must wear a mask or other type of face covering.
Scope of Work of the Contract includes the fol-lowing: Demolition and legal disposal of exist-ing wood fence and concrete panel fence, temporary fencing, installation of single-wythe brick thin wall and restoration of landscaping.
Bids received after the closing time will be re-turned unopened. A VOLUNTARY pre-bid conference will be held via teleconference on July 10, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. Local Time. All pro-spective bidders are invited to attend by call-ing 1-346-413-5693 and using the Conference ID 449 418 31#.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier’s check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five per-cent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guar-antee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required in-surance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor.

The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board’s judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
The requirements of Subchapter J, Chap-ter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and/or Contract and the Contrac-tor agrees that the Contract can be termi-nated if the Contractor knowingly or inten-tionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.
