Serafmo DiDio, 83, of Holly-brook Farms, Brewster, died July21 in Putnam Community Hos-pital, Carmel.
She was born June 24,1897, inItaly, a daughter of Paul andConcetta Campione DiDio. Shehad lived in Long Island beforemoving to Brewster 18 years ago.She had been employed by CrownKitchen Cabinet Corp. in Brook-lyn and was a member of theBrewster Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by five child-ren, Paul and Salvatore DiDio ofBrewster, Joseph and AlexanderDiDio of Albany and IgnatzioDiDio of South Hempsted; 10grandchildren and 8 great-grand-children.
Funeral services took place atthe Beecher Funeral Home, 1Putnam Ter., Brewster, with theRev. Joseph Bailey officiating.Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery,Putnam Valley.

Mrs. Gloria PolverariWandych, 54, of 110 Irving St.,Manchester, Ct., formerly ofBrewster, wife of Stanley S.Wandych, died July 16 inManchester Memorial Hospitalafter a long illness.
She was born in Queens, Oct.19, 1925, daughter of Severino
and Anna Albanesi Polverari ofManchester. Mrs. Wandychlived in Brewster for a number ofyears before moving toManchester about 30 years ago.
Besides her husband andparents, she is survived by twodaughters, Mrs. Jean Heal andMiss Cynthia Wandych, both ofManchester; four brothers,Donald Polverari of Brewster,Robert Polverari of St. Peters-burg, Fla., Albert Polverari ofFort Myers, Fla., and ErnestPolverari of Vero Beach, Fla.; andtwo grandsons.
A Mass of Christian Burial tookplace at St. Bridget's Church,Manchester. Burial was in St.Bridget's Cemetery. Arrange-ments were by the HolmesFuneral Home, 400 Main St.,Manchester.

John J. Principe, 69, who wasactive for many years in NorthSalem-Croton Falls area com-munity affairs, died yesterday atNorthern Westchester Hospital,Mount Kisco, after a long illness.He was the husband of MarySalvia Principe and had lived onHarvey Birch Drive.
He was born June 24, 1911, inQearmont, N:Y., son of the lateSalvatore and Angelina MarinaroPrincipe. Mr. Principe was the,owner and proprietor of PrincipeAuto Service, Croton Falls, formore than 40 years. .
He was a charter member ofthe North Salem Chamber ofCommerce, and a member of theNorth Salem Zoning Board ofAppeals for more than 10 years.An honorary member of the NorthSalem Fire Department, he was amember of the New York StateAssociation of Service Stations. ANavy veteran of World War II,Mr. Principe was a member of theVeterans of Foreign Wars, Brew-ster, and the American Lesion ofNorth Salem. Mr. Principe wasalso a member of St. Joseph'sChurch, Croton Falls.
Besides his wife, he is survivedby a daughter, Mary Matthews ofCosta Mesa, Calif.; a son, John J.Principe Jr. of High Bridge, N.J.;two brothers, Frank Principe ofBethel, and Joseph Principe ofHinsdale, N.H.; a sister, Mrs.Mary Rinaldi of Oxford; and twograndchildren.

The bride is the daughter ofPutnam County Executive andMrs. David D. Bruen of Birch HillRd., Brewster. Her husband isthe son of George King ofBloomer Rd., Brewster, and thelate Margaret Donaghey King.
Kathleen Bruen was maid ofhonor for her sister. Thebridesmaids were Mrs. DianaBruen Stevens, Margaret, Mary,Marilyn and Susan Bruen, ailsisters of the bride.
