Pravin Singh Bhakuni “Doc”, age 38,of Copley, OH died Friday,September 14, 2007 on theAppalachian Trail in Pennsylvania.He was born in India on September13, 1969.
He worked as an Attorney andCounselor at Law and was a DesertStorm Veteran with the US MarineCorps. Pravin was a member of BoyScout Troop 382, the Akron BarAssociation, Ohio Bar Association,American Bar Association,University of Akron Adjunct Faculty,and the VFW.
He is preceded in death by membersof his loving family in India. He issurvived by his wife, KaraMcLaughlin Bhakuni; parents, Roopand Rosa Bhakuni, sisters andbrothers-in-law, Nila Bhakuni andCraig Bigenho of Houston, TX, Tara(Bhakuni) and Dave Scott of Bath,OH, Sarita Bhakuni and ScottChalmers of Chicago, IL, and Mayaand Jim Mills of Atlanta, GA; brotherand sister-in-law, Girdhari andBhagawati Bhakuni of Golakote. Heis also survived by sisters, Lali,Madhu, Hema and many nieces andnephews across the world.
Funeral services will be held at10:00 am Thursday, September 20,2007 in the Bokas Funeral Home,3653 West Market St., Akron, OH44333. Cremation will follow servic-es.
