Naples, FL – 2/27/17 – Classic Chamber Concerts’ (CCC) is pleased to announce that it will be returning to Marco Island March 6, 2017 with the internationally acclaimed Manhattan Piano Trio and special guest viola, Michael Klotz of the Amernet String Quartet. The performance will take place at the Rose History Auditorium, Marco Island Historical Society at 7:00 p.m. The Manhattan Piano Trio will be performing two favorites of chamber music masters: Fauré’s passionate Piano Quintet in C minor and what Beethoven himself considered to be among his finest works, the noble Archduke Piano Trio. The musicians in the Manhattan Piano Trio—Wayne Lee, violin, Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir, Cello, and Milana Strezeva, piano--are praised by The Washington Post as being “Excellent” and “Outstanding.” Hailed as one of the most creative, exciting, and dynamic young ensembles in America, the Manhattan Piano Trio is strongly committed to educating new generations of musicians and music lovers. In accord with both the Trio and CCC’s commitment to educational outreach, the Trio will conduct a clinic with students in the music program at Marco Island Charter Middle School the day after their concert—performing and engaging in an educational Q&A.
