PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
NSW PSSA State Carnivals Good luck to Lleyton Lovett and Olivia Bednal who are representing Western School Sport at the Open League and Girls Hockey Carnivals this week. School Interviews Don’t forget to book a parent teacher interview to see your child’s teacher next week just follow the link and use the school code. 153 interviews have already been booked https://www.schoolinterviews.com.au/ school code: 3rkyd Working Bee Pete Wade and Andrew Nixon have been working hard to prepare the area under our play equipment to ensure it is safe for the children. The old soft fall and tree roots have been removed and drainage has been put in. We are holding a working bee on Saturday 29th June at 9.00am to put replace the soft fall. If you are able to help please bring along a rake if you have one. Biggest Morning Tea After a few years layoff we are once again holding the Biggest Morning Tea to support cancer research. A note with further information is going home today. Crazy Hair Day There were some fabulous hair styles on show on Friday at Crazy Hair Day. The SRC raised $270 which will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis organisation. PRINCIPALS RECOGNITION

OUR STUDENTS OF THE WEEK Our Students of the week are: Bailey McKeon is congratulated for fabulous research; Josh Agland is congratulated for his great attitude to research activity; Lleyton Lovett is congratulated for outstanding goal keeping skills; Evie Adams is congratulated for being brave and testing herself; Jaxon Barrington, Kensi Bowman and Aida Cufurovic are congratulated for peer support, Alex Santos is congratulated for great leadership in history groups, Madison Farrell is congratulated for outstanding reading growth, Aidan Webb is congratulated for his commitment to school activities and Gemma Cashman is congratulated for her resilience and commitment to all class activities.
OUR ASSEMBLY AND PLAYGROUND AWARD WINNERS Cooper Smith and Dakota Cochrane are congratulated for being Respectful Safe Learners. They both received a voucher from the canteen to thank them. OUR WINNERS OF THE CLASS SHIELD Congratulations to 5/6S who are the winners of this week’s class shield. They are congratulated for being Respectful Safe Learners. Evie Adams and Aiden Jones collected the shield on behalf of 5/6S.

LIBRARY NEWS
I’m so excited to announce we will be holding our annual book week parade with Education Day this year. Start planning your costume as our event will be in Week 3 next term. More information about the whole day will follow soon. Nichole Wade Teacher Librarian

Clothing Pool The clothing pool will be open every 2nd Tuesday morning 8.30am – 9.15am (next open 25/6/19). There are a large number of second hand jumpers and jackets available.
