THREE MODULES
Module I
The Role of Business in
Society
We will study various theories about
the role of business in society,
including corporate social
responsibility, stakeholder theory, the
triple bottom line, conscious
capitalism and social impact investing.
Module II
Business Functions
You will be introduced to key functions
within business including accounting,
marketing, operations and strategy. We
will also learn about corporate
governance and the role of government
and regulations and how they impact
business.
Module III
The Intersection of
Business and Ethicas
Business cannot function without
smart, well-reasoned decision-
makers. Well reasoned- decisions
stem from having a core set of ethical
values and putting them into action.
You will learn to identify ethical
issues from case studies, form your
own credo in business and overcome
common blind spots that inhibit good
decision-making.

You must obtain a grade of B- (2.7) or better to remain in Questrom School of Business
You may retake the course one additional time
If you have to retake the course, you must obtain a 2.7 average across both attempts
