Clayton Valley Charter Graduation Requirements

To graduate from CVCHSstudents must:

1. Complete 230 semester credits in the specific subject areas.

(Each semester class is worth 5 credits and students are enrolled in 30 credits of coursework each semester).

2. Pass and complete Algebra I

3. Pass the CA High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) English portion (passing score 350+) Math portion (passing score 350+)

*Students will take the CAHSEE for the first time in the Spring of their 10th grade year.

2 years: World History, U.S. History/Government

B. English 4 years: College Prep English C. Math 3 Years of college prep math. 4 years is highly

recommended. Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra IID. Laboratory Science
