Hello to all and so looking forward to October 10th!!! 50 years!! My biggest regret is not maintaining contact withmy fellow classmates and I have been in Maryland since graduation even though my husband and I havemoved frequently! After HS graduation, College Park and Univ. of Maryland at Baltimore, I earned my BS inNursing and started working at University Hospital. I met, Daryl while a junior at C.P. and we married in 1972.Lauren and Kevin were born while we were living in St. Mary's County. We have been in Somerset county since1989 and Daryl has since retired from his Park Ranger/ administration position and I have continued to work! Ihave built up quite a resume with many nursing position: from hospital to schools and even at our localcorrections for 17 years! Quite something else! Here at TLC I have found a home! I love the patients, staff andmy provider I work with. My nursing career has been so fulfilling and only hope I have been able to help promotehealth, wellness to all I have come into contact! I have been fortunate to enjoy one of my loves with working withthe Women's chorus while in college, being part of 'Anything Goes' behind the scenes, glee club at St. Mary'sCollege, voice lessons and of course church choir . Imagine singing at the world's Fair in New York and singingwith the Washington Symphony Orchestra!!!!!! I am hoping to only work part-time in 2015. All are welcome toour home here on the eastern shore. Daryl needs a fishing partner. After ten plus years retired, no one will gowith him! Maybe we will be able to finish projects started years ago - right! Love to all! RMHS GO ROCKETS!!!!!!

Mike Atnip and Shelley Nielsen (RM.64) were married on January 9, 1967. They are both retired now and livingin Jacksonville, FL. Mike retired from the insurance business and Shelley retired from a career in banking. Theywere blessed with 4 children and they now have 3 grandchildren – Joseph (born in 2002), Jessica (born in2005), and Katelyn (born in 2006). 50 Years ago...WOW...Hard to believe, but 2014 is just around the corner. I've been married to Ann BurtonBarker for 43 years, and we have one son, Robbie. I went to work for Montgomery County Police in 1968, andswitched to the Maryland State Police in 1970 until 1988. I then did what was natural for me - auto business. Iwas with Herb Gordon Auto World from 1989 until 2009 when I went to EuroMotorCars in Bethesda untilrecently. I've tried to slow down some and am now working with a friend primarily in the auto wholesalebusiness. Ann plans to retire this year but I want to work a little longer. Looking forward to seeing everyone andgetting caught up with many wonderful stories.

I look forward to reconnecting with former classmates. I remember several alumni from growing up in Twinbrookand attending elementary school there. I later went to Broome before attending RM. After RM I attendedMontgomery College and worked part time at the Co-op grocery store next to Larry Allen menswear. I did notmaintain academic status as a full time student and was drafted in the Army in 1967. I served in Viet Nam for 14months in northern I Corps from March '68 to May '69. After my stint in the military I came home and finished atMontgomery College. I took a cross country trip over a summer visiting college campuses and eventuallyenrolled at the University of Utah. After a year I came back to Rockville and completed my degree at Maryland. Ienjoyed the college environment so much that found a job at Montgomery College. I met my wonderful wife Suewhile working as MC. I earned a master's degree from Marymount University and remained in higher educationfor 30 years in career services and external relations. I retired as Vice President of External Relations at CapitolCollege in 2008. I work in a family business selling building supplies. I am currently the president of theMontgomery College Alumni Association and participate in multiple activities that promote the image andreputation of the college. I find I have to stay in touch with students and campus activity.

After High School and Montgomery College I had a twenty three year career with Bechtel Power Corporation inGaithersburg, and at different large construction sites around the US. In 1984 we moved to the Atlanta, Georgiaarea where I was president of three different design and construction related companies over a period of 18years. In my later years I have been in sales of Professional Services (I sell Architect and Engineering services)for a large firm based in Denver, working in their regional office in Atlanta. I sell strictly to the US Governmentand to the US Military. In intend to retire March 31, 2014 after almost 50 years. Except for a few years in Buffalo, New York, and another few years at college in Roanoke, Virginia, I have livedall my life in good old Montgomery County. I graduated from Montgomery College in 1967 with an A.A. degreein Computer Science and have taken many other courses in several other colleges since then. My interest incomputers began back in the summer of 1963, between my junior and senior years at RMHS. I took a summerinternship at a hospital in Buffalo that gave me the opportunity to use an IBM 1620 mainframe computer all bymyself! Since then I have been either very interested or working in the IT field. I have worked for only two ITcompanies, Planning Research Corporation (PRC) and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). The time withthose two companies spanned 32 years. I retired in 2008 and have been living a life of leisure since then. (Ha! Iam almost as busy now as when I was working.) Just before I retired, I ran across the RMHS web page onClassmates.com. I looked up Sylvia Barnes and found out that she was now single and living in Kansas. Westarted corresponding and when she moved to Pittsburgh, she came to visit me. This was the first time we hadseen each other in 44 years! In 2009 we went on a trip to Paris together where I proposed to her. We weremarried in 2010 and now are happily living in Gaithersburg. So now some of my leisure is taken up with"honey-dos", which is fine by me!

Boy! this is kind of like a salmon coming back to its home creek. RMHS seems like a very long time ago to me,so many things. Mainly I have spent my life doing things I have always loved mechanical pursuits were alwaysmy passion. I have had my own automobile business since 1973 started with european auto repairs which led toa dealership for Bertone automobiles and other high line autos. in between I earned a commercial/instrumentpilot license and enjoyed many hours of flying around the US, I presently own my own aircraft and am partowner manager of a private airport in Pa.. I am beginning to feel kind of (hard to say) partly retired and amenjoying other interests; woodworking, motorcycling (love my triumph thunderbird),barbqueing, guitar playing (opened a music store in 2001) and enjoy teaching kids to play guitar and write their own music. I enjoy living inthe country and private times with my family

Daniel Gresham (RMHS '64) and I started dating in 1964 and married in July 1968 after our college graduations.We have lived in many great places including New Orleans, New York City, New Canaan, CT, and Solomons,MD; we're now retired in Santa Fe, NM, where we've lived since 2007. I worked for 16+ years in various Federalagencies, but mostly in management positions at the U.S. Dept of the Interior in the offshore oil and gas leasingprogram. I was fortunate to be a full-time mom for several years as we raised our son and then to work part-timein our middle school library. In retirement, I'm enjoying exploring the Southwest, traveling, doing volunteer work,and tackling the challenge of keeping landscape alive in a high desert environment. Over the past 50 years, wehave been very thankful to have kept up friendships with many of our fellow RMHS '64 grads and their spouses.I am really looking forward to our reunion and the opportunity to see them as well as everyone I haven't seensince Graduation Day.

OMG! What fun I'm having reading bios of my graduating class. I'm also very saddened to see that some of myold friends have died. After graduation I went to work for FDA (on Chapman Avenue) in a secretarial position. Imet my husband there and we were married in 1970. I continued working at FDA until 1974 at which time ourfirst daughter (Cindy) was born. Our second daughter (Lyndsie) was born in 1977 and so I was a stay-at-homemom for many years. Both of our daughters (who also graduated from RMHS) are married and we have fivegrandchildren. When I decided it was time to go back to work I went to work at Marriott Corp. for a year. Then,for the next 9 years, I worked at an interior decorating company is Gaithersburg. Dick retired from FDA in 1998.In 1999 we moved to Portland, Oregon. The Northwest is an awesome place to live. Since retirement we'vebeen able to take an Alaskan cruise, vacationed in Sedona, AZ, Tulum, Mexico, and Tortola, BVI. Life is good!We love our church and spend a lot of our time volunteering with church work. It always blesses us to know wecan serve the Lord by being His hands and feet:) I don't know whether we'll make it to the 50th class reunion.Time will tell.

I have lived in Virginia, Hawaii, Canada, Taiwan and Hong Kong and am currently living in Damascus, MD withmy wonderful wife (to whom I have been married for more than 16 years) and nine dogs, all from rescueorganizations. I graduated from Montgomery College in 1966 and the University of Maryland in 1969. I took theCivil Service Exam and the government decided that I should be a programmer. Since then, my career hasbeen in IT at a variety of positions, including owning an IT consulting company which had offices in Hong Kong,Taiwan and Hawaii. I am currently working at the IRS as an IT consultant. My wife and I also work as volunteerswith Bourbon County Rescue and helped to save over 600 dogs and cats last year that would have beeneuthanized if not for this wonderful group of people.

After RMHS (the good years of no worries for me based on my grades and class standing) I went to NorthTexas State University and had a great time, soooo, I had to transfer back to the Maryland area and got adegree in Accounting from Benjamin Franklin University in D.C.(now part of GW, who whooda thought!). Aftercollege, as with a lot of my classmates from RMHS I had to do some time in the Armed Forces and was in theArmy with most of my service time spent in Bangkok Thailand in the Finance Corp. I lived in a hotel in Bangkokfor the two years that I was there, and spent a good amount of time playing baseball for a Unit Team. It was likea vacation. After my Army Service I started as a Junior Accountant for a Mortgage Banking firm in D.C. whichthen led me to Detroit, Michigan to the company’s parent company. During the seven years in Detroit I gotmarried to my wife Susan and had two girls (Christina and Steffanie). By the time I left Detroit (my mind hadun-frozen one summer) I had gone from Mortgage Banking, to Accounting for a Construction Company. I movedto Colorado and settled in Boulder with a house just 10 miles outside of the City in the foothills of Boulder. Mytwo daughters were in sports through high school which brought back memories of RMHS Varsity Sports for me.They were in Swimming (Steffanie and Christina) and Gymnastics (Christina). They participated in the StateChampionship’s throughout their High School years. Christina graduated from Oregon State with a degree inEnvironmental Sciences & Chemistry and is now the Head Brewer for Rogue Ales in Eugene, Oregon (whowould have thought drinking beer in college would lead to a career). Steffanie graduated from UNLV in LasVegas with a degree in Hotel Management and is the owner of Skin Tight Fitness and Aesthetics as a CertifiedPersonal Trainer, Aesthetician, and Make-up Artist in Las Vegas. During my 31 years in Colorado I havebecome the part owner and CEO of SDA Inc, VRG Construction Company, and VRG Managements Services.We are a Real Estate Company that does build to suit Lease Building for the U.S. Government (web pagewww.sdavrg.com ) Through the years I have enjoyed playing golf and owning sports cars ((3)Jaguar XKE’s,(Ihave broken down all across the country), (2) Corvette’s and (3)Porsche’s) much to my wife chagrin. She nowspends her winters in Las Vegas and I make monthly trips from Colorado see her in Vegas, to look at some ofour company’s projects and sneak in a little golf in the winter. Ann Elliott (my wife of 40 years) and I, live in the Annapolis, Maryland area. We've raised 2 grown sons, and areblessed with two grandchildren from a son from a previous marriage. Upon graduating from the University ofMaryland after serving in the US Navy, I began a career in Sales and Sales Management in the technologyindustry with companies like Prime Computer, Oracle and Microsoft where I retired in 2010. I'm an avidboater/sailor and former Fleet Captain at The Eastport Yacht Club. I hold a Coast Guard 50 Ton MastersLicense and a member of the Chesapeake Area Professional Captains Association as well as the FleetReserve. I enjoy hunting and fishing (especially fly-fishing) and shoot in trap and pistol leagues several times aweek. I volunteer with a Non Profit "Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing" teaching fly-fishing skills to WoundedWarriors to assist them in their recovery. When not boating, fishing or hunting, I can be found performing music(sometimes with my son) at dock bars and other venues around the Annapolis area.

Wow, 50 years!! It seems just like yesterday, doesn't it?? DUH!! No it doesn't, it seems like it was anotherera!Graduating out of RM, I was accepted at North Texas State Univ., and went there for a year, then cameback to Rockville, Then right away Uncle Sam was after me and I beat the draft notice by about 3 days andjoined the USAF. I served 4 yrs. in the USAF, being stationed in Wash. state, 2 yrs. in Alaska and 15 months inVietnam. After my service obligation I came back to Rockville, enrolled at Montgomery JC, also at that time, Ibegan working full time at Larry Alan's menswear in old downtown Rockville. Worked there for almost 7 yrs.then decided to head west to Dallas, Tx (which was both my parent's and my birth state. Joined the Federalworkforce with the Social Security Admin. as a fraud investigator traveling around Tx. and the 4 states thatborder Tx, (OK, ARK, LA., and NM)for 30 and 1/2 yrs. Retired in 2010. living with my mom as a caregiver for herand enjoying my retirement.

Sent to NAS North Island, San Diego, CA in Julyof 1976 through Aug. of 1979. Flew S-3A and US-3A aboard USS Enterprise in Indian Ocean. Resigned fromNavy in Aug. of 1979 to take a job in Dallas, TX with a new start-up Airline, Southwest Airlines! Flew Boeing737-100,200,300,500, and 700 for SWA for 28 years, retiring in July of 2006, from their Orlando, Fl crew base.Currently residing in The Villages, FL 55 miles north of Orlando. Married to my Beautiful wife, Linda Oct. 5, 1985at Hotel Del Coronado, CA. We lived in Dallas for 13 years, then to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Moved to the villages,FL in 2004. Well Guys, I am still working. I am a flight attendant and I love my job. I do not fly very much, just enough tokeep my hand in. I fly regular flights to Dubai, Tokyo and some domestic flying. I really love to fly our militaryand football charters. I live in a small town 80 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia. I live in the woods and it is afrequent event to see deer eating the hostas or black bear eating the sunflower seeds from the bird feeders onour deck. I cannot see my nearest neighbor even though they are just up the hill. I was not raised in the country,as you know, but I have learned a lot about being ready for anything. I have been married to myhusband,Daniel, for 45 years. He is retired from United Airlines where he was Sales and Operations manager inMemphis, Tn. Instead of two legged children, we have four legged children. We have rescued 3 dogs and 7 catsfor the local shelter and some just wandered up to the house. We even had a kitten move in without us knowingabout it.

Tom is a CertifiedFinancial Planner ™ and enrolled to practice before the US Tax Court. In 2012 Tom was the recipient of theLifetime Achievement Award from the Financial Planning Association. Tom and Stephanie have been marriedsince 1970 and have a son Eric. Eric wed Silvia Alcarez in July, 2013 and their first child Amelia was born onJune 20, 2014. She is a beautiful little girl and will be spoiled rotten by her grandfather. Silvia is a wonderfulwoman from Mexico City and Eric and she will take little Amelia to Mexico City soon to be christened. They said"no" to Father Val doing the christening here at St. Mary's. Tom and Stephanie spend about half the year at theirlake home in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Stephanie is retired from federal service and is enjoying herretirement and her new granddaughter. Tom doesn't plan on "retiring" any time soon. He will continue to workuntil it is no longer fun or dementia sets in.:) Tom and Stephanie too infrequently visit Tom's "daughter" Sonjaand her husband Martin in Germany. They have two wonderful children, Antonia who is 16 going on 35 andMaximilian who is 18. Tom loves working on the RMHS 50 reunion and connecting with classmates. Can't believe it's been 50 years! Here's some of what happened since then in my life. From Rockville, my familymoved back to Texas in early 1965. I married and had two children in Austin, after attending UT there. Afterhusband finished law school, we moved to Houston. I lived in that area for more than 30 years, raising ourchildren and sending them off to college. Beth to Vanderbilt. Billy to Sarah Lawrence. Ten years ago I moved toAtlanta. This was after my sister Debbie died (1999), my mom died (2001) and my dad remarried. By then, mydaughter was married, lived in Atlanta, and had two children of her own. I am mostly retired, but still do riskmanagement reviews with providers of senior living and memory care services on their liability insurancepolices. I started working in the senior care field in local and regional management in 1994. Now I do a lot ofvolunteer work, enjoy 3 grandchildren here, plus visits with family and friends in Texas and Florida. This news isfor Tim C who wrote about my folks in my yearbook: My dad turned 90 this year. He and his wife moved nearby2 years ago from Texas. He still teaches Sunday school, writes poetry, does watercolors, mows his grass andplays Words with Friends with me on his iPad. In looking through the yearbook, I am amazed at how manyfaces I remember. Hope to see you in October in person.

As a 1968 ROTC scholarship “Distinguished Military Graduate” of the College of William and Mary, I wentdirectly into the Army upon graduation; spent five years as an officer with the Army Special Forces (GreenBerets), to include two tours in Vietnam supporting special operations along the Laotian and Cambodianborders. Received a post-graduate fellowship from the Army which I used to complete an MBA program atTulane University where I was fortunate to graduate at the top of my class (December 1974). I used that trainingto also sit for and pass both the CPA exam and the Certificate in Management Accounting (CMA) exam, withnational honors awarded for the latter. After five subsequent years in DC on Army staff, I left the Army and wentto work for the NSA at Ft Meade with the objective of completing law school at night (courtesy of my VAbenefits) and then moving on. Completed my JD in 1984, but wound up getting deeply involved in NSAoperations and spent the next 20 years (roughly 1979 to 1999) working with the best group of dedicated andhighly talented people I could ever hope to work with [despite all the (primarily naive and erroneous)controversial press reports of recent months]. After retiring from NSA I spent a couple years doing pro bonoconsulting before going to work with a small firm here in Columbia that was eventually bought by NorthropGrumman. I retired from Northrop Grumman last year (2013), and am enjoying a retirement sabbatical whileexploring possible opportunities in the nonprofit sector and academia (I taught various business coursespart-time at the collegiate level for about twelve years back in the ‘70s and ‘80s). I continue to indulge a varietyof personal interests, ranging from “lifelong learning” (emphasis on history, literature, and the fine arts), Tai Chi,and meditation to SCUBA diving, mountaineering, and other forms of adventure travel (while the body permits).Have climbed Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and several peaks in South America, boated on the upperAmazon, dived in Tahiti and Palau, toured much of Europe and the Med, and trekked to the Everest BaseCamps in both Nepal and (most recently) Tibet. I’m hoping to return to Africa this summer for a game safari inKenya and Tanzania; and to Southeast Asia next year to do penance in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. On thefamily front I remain the proud Papa of an exceptional daughter, and Grandpa to two beautiful, athletic, andbrilliant granddaughters. On balance, life has been good these past 50 years; and I hope the vast majority of ourclassmates can say the same. Here’s hoping the Class of 1964 has a great 50th reunion!!

No I never married, I have been wrapped up in my careers, I modeled foreight years, worked in the private sector for 28 and have just completed 20 years in the Federal Government.Both of my parents passed away, so it's just been me, my fiance of several years and my family members are inSouth Jersey. I have been very involved in fund raising for the National Capital Area and last year I wasawarded the Presidential Award for Fund Raising. Life is just great. I am very healthy, thin, a size 4, and havebeen involved with Weight Watchers for 35 years, having lost 175 pounds and kept it off the entire time. Can'twait to see everyone, blessings to all!!!! Wow, it can’t be 50 years already – must be some mistake - maybe we need to check that calendar again. Well,I’m still here in Rockville, except for four years away at college, but we plan to move to the Williamsburg,Virginia area in the near future. Graduated from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania in 68 and soon afteraccepted a job with the CIA. Picked up a Masters in Public Administration at George Mason University along theway. I retired from the Agency as an IT Program Manager in 2007. Thirty-eight years in the federal bureaucracywas more than enough. Linda and I will celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary in October 2014. She is retiredfrom the Department of Commerce. No kids, but lots of family in the area and we have two thoroughly spoileddogs. We’ve had a small beach house on the Outer Banks of North Carolina since 1999 and enjoy spendingtime there, particularly in the spring and fall. I’m active in amateur radio and enjoy golf, swimming, kayaking,bicycling and keeping in touch with friends and family online. After RMHS I entered the University of Maryland, majoring in physics-astronomy. In 1967, after a somewhatcheckered academic experience at U of MD, I dropped out of school and worked for a local landscapingcompany for a few months. In January, 1968, Bill Chittenden and I took off for Columbus, Ohio to attend TheOhio State University. Initially majoring in math at OSU, I blundered into a geology course, loved it, andimmediately switched majors. It was a good choice for me. My geological studies have taken me to manyinteresting places including England, Scotland, Wales, Scandinavia, and all over the western United States.Certainly the highlight of my geological travels was a research expedition to Antarctica in 1970-71. After Ireturned from Antarctica, I worked for the newly-created EPA in downtown DC. I entered graduate school at theUniversity of Texas at Austin in the fall of 1971 and (finally) received my Ph.D. in 1979. My dissertation researcharea was conveniently located just an hour or so north of California's beautiful Napa Valley wine county-henceanother life-long interest! In 1978 I began working for the State of Texas, mainly with groundwatercontamination issues and permitting programs for uranium mining, injection wells, and radioactive wastedisposal facilities. It is difficult to characterize my tenure with the Great State of Texas. Now retired, I tend tolook back on it as a continual struggle between the forces of sound science, competently applied (ME) and theforces of Big Texas politics, money, and greed (THEM.) I lost. While in graduate school, I met my future wife,Carrell Grigsby, on a blind date at the Texas School for the Blind (really!) where she was teaching. One moredate and two months later during Spring Break we were married by a JP in downtown Austin for 10 bucks. NextApril we will have been together for 40 years. Not a bad investment! We have one daughter, Carijane, whoworks at the main headquarters of Whole Foods here in Austin. Retired from teaching, Carrell, a MasterPhotographer, started her own business, Carrell Grigsby Photography. I help her out as I can, mostly bycarrying equipment and manipulating the remote lighting, but occasionally I get to do a little shooting too. Latelymy old interest in astronomy has been rekindled and I have been collecting telescopes, mostly old ones. I think Ihave 16 by now. I really need to stop.

Has it been 50 years? Seems like a lifetime ago. How do you fit 50 years in a box? Well, here goes. Aftergraduation, I went to Frostburg State University and received my Bachelor's in 1968. I married soon aftercollege and began teaching in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. I was married for 17 years and had threechildren, a daughter and two sons.During that time I completed my Master's at Towson State University. Aftermy marriage ended, I returned to teaching in 1986, ironically to the same school I had left in 1973. I taughtgrades 2 through 4 and was an intervention specialist the last three years of my career. I retired in 2009 and amtotally enjoying life. I spend time with family and friends,travel to visit my children who are in Frostburg,Bostonand Los Angeles,take art lessons which is something completely new for me. I also love to read which wasmore difficult to do when I was working. I have enjoyed reading all the profiles and am looking forward to seeingeveryone some day in the future.

While at school a young lady caught my eye and we have now been married 5years. My grandmother had a saying "Once an adult--twice a chid" and we are all headed that way thanks to thetwo cruelest indivduals around-Mother Nature and Father Time. Together they rob us of our youth, hair, teethand skin tone. Men stand at the urinal and pray and women know the meaning of 42XLong. We are truely attheir mercy.

Gosh, I blinked and 50 years flew by! The first two summers after graduation pretty much shaped my future.Summer of '64 I worked at the Rockville Drive-In Theatre (great place to work - mostly teenagers and only a fewadults) where I met Terry Thomson (WJ class of '66), who turned out to be the love of my life (we've beenmarried almost 47 years). The summer of '65 I went to work for the law firm of Miller, Miller & Canby in Rockville- I needed office work experience for my Assoc. Degree from MJC. That began my career as a legal secretary/paralegal. I retired from MM&C this spring, 49 years later with some time off for good behavior (marriage andmotherhood). After living in Jax, FL for a few years while Terry was in the Navy, we settled in Frederick, had twoterrific kids [1 boy ('72), 1 girl ('78)] and thoroughly enjoyed (most of the time) watching them grow up. Wepacked so much into those years our motto was (and still is)"We're the Thomsons, we live on the edge." Elevenyears ago, we moved to the Hagerstown area (downsized our home and upsized our garage). For the past 10years my hobby has been "grandchildren" [1 boy (5/04), 1 girl (8/04)]. Since retiring I'm getting back to someprior hobbies - gardening, music, sewing (sadly volleyball and biking will not be among them). Terry and I lovetraveling (by car, rv, plane or ship) and going to cruise-ins and Sonic in our '69 Chevelle (our first new car); wespend a lot of time going to family athletic events - ice hockey, ice skating, field hockey, lacrosse. Most of all weenjoy lots of good times, get togethers and vacations with our kids, daughter/son-inlaw and grandkids (we areextremely blessed in that regard) and with close relatives/long-time friends. Sandy Kennedy and RuthUmbenhauer and I have kept up with each other all this time - we've been friends since our days at MaryvaleElementary. I'm really looking forward to the Reunion. See you in October.

Rick Fogel is a distinguished hammer dulcimer performer, luthier and teacher. At festivals and venues acrossthe country, Rick displays virtuosity in his performance of classical, traditional, Celtic, and original compositions.In 1975, Rick first learned to build and play the dulcimer in Charlottesville, Virginia, after receiving a mastersdegree in nuclear physics. He has since founded the Whamdiddle Dulcimer Company, built hundreds ofdulcimers, performed and taught workshops at the Augusta Heritage Center in West Virginia, the WisconsinStringalong, Northwest Folklife in Washington, and collaborated with the Seattle Symphony on a movie scoreand recording. Rick was featured in a TV documentary for PBS and NHK Japan on the “Craftsmen of the World”series.

September 64 to February 79 - United States Navy. Served on a destroyer, submarine tender, submarine, andaircraft carrier. Four years in the middle were on recruiting duty in Wheaton. Left the Navy in 1979 and went towork with an engineering consulting firm in Washington. Took on a 6 month consulting contract with GeneralMotors assisting with the start-up of the Detroit/Hamtramck assembly plant in March of 1985. Been in Michiganever since. Had the opportunity to work with Roger Penske when he purchased Detroit Diesel. Spend a coupleof days with this man and you understand why he has become so successful. Finished up actually working at alocal steel plant that finishes the steel used to make truck bumpers. Would ask everyone to take a look at yourlifestyle and make any necessary changes. Got carried out of the house and to the hospital in the back of ameat wagon last December...not a trip that I would recommend anyone taking.

I graduated from Cornell University with BSEE in 1968, then worked for NASA on the Apollo program atGoddard Space Flight Center 1968-1973. I moved to Aspen in early 1973, where I met Flossie. We weremarried in 1974 so are going to have our 40th anniversary in May. We lived in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia from1975-1980 where I was a Cost Estimator and then a computer applications administrator, and Flossie was anaircraft and helicopter dispatcher. We returned to Aspen in 1980 where I started a computer service businesswhich transformed into a software company specializing in the Vacation Rental Management business. I spentmost of my career in this industry and retired at the end of 2013. Flossie is a Fine Arts Major from LSU and hasworked in retail and now has a business in interior design. Our two sons were born and raised in Aspen andnow live in Los Angeles and New York City. We have spent a lot of time sailing as a family and continue toenjoy time on our boat in Marina del Rey, CA. We are all active in the outdoors sailing, hiking, skiing andcamping. I would love to hear from anyone who makes it to the Aspen area. Below is a picture of Evan and hisfamily at Christmas 2013.

After graduating, took off for Montgomery College, then Univ. of Maryland where I got my Civil EngineeringDegree...met my beautiful wife, Judy there and we married in 1970. I went to work as an oceanographer forNaval Oceanographic Office ("NAVOCEANO" as it was called). Travel took me to Bermuda and to Guam, but 3months home, then 3 months gone was not in my long term future. Started anew w/ George HymanConstruction Co. on BIG buildings for 13 years..then had my fill of all that concrete. Worked with a friend oncustom resin tables and bars - the company was called "Shipwreck" (...and it was). In 1988 the homeimprovements work was started - I was my own boss and have been for 25 years and still working - doing lots ofhouse repairs, kitchens and baths -- you name it ! We have two wonderful sons - bigger than me now ( whobully me all the time - just kidding !) No grandchildren yet, but there's still future. Hi all! I have been in sunny Florida for 36 years but when you live in paradise, who counts? I went into the Navy right after High School and served for 29 years. I was aboard the aircraft carriers USSAmerica (twice), USS Constellation, USS Tarawa, and USS Carl Vinson. We cruised in the Atlantic,Mediterranean Sea, Pacific, China Seas (Viet Nam),Indian Ocean and Bering Sea. Along the way I served atnaval bases in Great Lakes Ill, Memphis Tn, Sanford Fl, Norfolk Va, Oceana Va, San Diego Ca, Alameda Ca,Meridian Ms, Lemoore Ca, Jacksonville Fl, and Mayport Fl. I was in several aircraft squadrons as well andfinished my Navy career as a Command Master Chief of a squadron in Mayport, Fl. After retiring from the Navy Istayed in Florida, worked retail for a while and now we are enjoying full retirement in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. I'vebeen married to my wife Yone from Okinawa (met in San Diego) for 31 years. I have a daughter, Angela, from aprior marriage and 2 granddaughters, Abigail age 6 and Natalie Joy age 4. Also 2 step grandsons, Aidan age 13and Isaiah age 12. My daughter and her family live in Chesapeake Va and I have many family members livingnear the Frederick Md area.

Fran and I celebrated our 35th anniversary in August, which was also the 1st anniversary of our new retirementhome in Santa Fe. We have also lived in Columbia, Md, Denver,Co and Baltimore, Md. After RMHS I attendedMC(Engineering) and Towson(Business). I was drafted in '68 and served 2 years in the USArmy. I have heldseveral sales jobs, most recently real estate with Long & Foster in Baltimore. I took up tennis in my 20s and stillplay several times a week. We have traveled a lot of the US and plan do much more now that we have the time.Our children live in CA and Nate and Maggie are planning their wedding for fall of '15.

Fifty years is a long time to chronicle but here is my best shot: 1964 - 1966: Attempted college but failed.Worked in construction by and large including a stint in Rochester, NY as an iron worker. 1967 - 1969: USArmy. Stationed in NC, Ga., Indiana, Oakland, Ca., Arlington Va. One year in Vietnam. 1970 - 1973: Returnedto construction work and then returned to college - graduating in 1973 from American University. 1974 - 1976:Married my wonderful wife, Terry, in February, 1975. Passed CPA Exam. Worked in public accounting, auditingand taxes primarily. 1977 - 1978: Entered graduate program at the University of Maryland, College Park.Graduated in 1978, MBA in finance. 1979 - 1989: Worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)in various capacities (Audit, IT, Budget and Planning, Failed Bank Resolution). 1990 - 1996: Worked for theResolution Trust Corporation (RTC) which was created to resolve the savings and loan crisis. I held varioussenior positions. A very difficult political and economic environment but at the end it all worked out. 1997 - 1998:Retired. Self employed as a consultant. 1998 - 2010: Worked for Ernst and Young as a Principal/ExecutiveDirector. Three and one-half years in Asia: China, Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia. Also worked in Mexico,Jamaica, and Russia. Clients included govt. ministries (Finance and Banking), private equity funds, and globalinvestment bankers all seeking to resolve or buy failed banks and distressed assets. Returned to US clientsincluding investment banks, government agencies, Fannie Mae, Gnnie Mae, and commercial banks. Focusedon mortgage finance, securitization and capital market issues. 2011: Retired from EY as full-time employee.Since then working as a very part-time contractor. Enjoying life - travelling, biking, golfing and gardening andenjoying my wife and four children. A little long winded but that about sizes it up.

My greatest accomplishment so far in life is I'm still lucid and mobile. Oh yeah, and I've been married for 45years to Sue (Harris; BCC '64). We are very lucky that our son Dan, wife Kristen and granddaughters Mia andGrace live a 45 minute car ride away. It gives us the chance to see them often and watch the girls grow up. Sueand I both continue to work full time and enjoy our jobs. Retirement is somewhere down the road. It is sad tosee the list of deceased classmates I won't have a chance to see again and talk to. Rick and I were married in 1968. We started our family right away. To give the kids a better place to grow up wemoved to historic Sharpsburg, Maryland. Home of the Battle of Antietam during the Civil War. Our kids were intohistory in a big way. We are really out in the boondocks. We didn't have mail delivery on our road until a fewyears ago. I went to work for the Washington County Board of Education in 1979. I was an InstructionalAssistant in Special Education until I retired after 29 years. Through the years I worked with students in allgrades with many different learning difficulties. I would have continued working if my health was better. Rick wasan Electrician, Heating and Air Tech. We have always done some farming on the side. Our daughter, Julie,works for Washington County in the Department of Environment. Our son, Robert is a Firefighter for theHagerstown Fire Department full-time and part-time with Washington County Hazmat and special operations.We have three grandchildren. Two boys and a girl. We enjoy retirement. Rick still farms as a hobby. I do someneedlework, reading, and writing in my spare time.

In the mid-60's, I served in the Army at Fort Polk, LA, where I was battalion clerk and M2 machine guninstructor. I came back to Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in politicalscience and history. Several years later, I married Brent and we moved to Gaithersburg, and later WashingtonGrove, with our two children, Alex and Katie. For most of my career, I ran an architectural photographybusiness, James Ritchie Associates, and traveled up on down the East Coast photographing office buildings,custom homes, resort properties, and architectural models. 50 years? Really? I think I have been so lucky to have been able to be in contact with so many of my RMHSbuddies over the years, that it hardly seems possible that so many years have passed. So I am not really surehow much I have to say that might be new or interesting, but I'll just give a quick summary of a life that I havefound to be quite exhilarating in breadth and depth of experiences and learnings over the years. After a falsestart, I have married a great guy who brought with him a most loving and exceptional daughter, so I have had avery happy life over the past 26 years. I have lived in a lot of fast-paced and innovative places - Murray Hill, NJ(who knew?), NYC, San Francisco, London, Cleveland (a bit off-track I will admit) and now Boston and SantaFe. Career wise, I guess I am a generalist, though I prefer to think of my being a life long learner. I went fromBell Labs after college, to Honeywell Information Systems, and then into the world of finance and technology atNY and SF banks. From there, I started my own marketing company with the big banks as my clients, whichgave me the wonderful opportunity to travel the world and learn so much about different cultures. Since wemoved to Cleveland, I moved my business into the non-profit world, philanthropy, and economic development.Last year, my husband Chuck and I both "retired" and now spend our time on less profitable, but quite satisfyingwork lives. He continues in Finance, and I seem to be focusing more on education reform, with an emphasis onthe STEM subjects that I have always loved, and that are becoming more important than ever for our society.Can't wait to see everyone next October!!

It is amazing how life has flown by and we now have this wonderful opportunity to reconnect after 50 years –can’t wait to hear about the stories of our lives – children of the sixties! And what is 50 years among friends!Who knew what the future would hold for us? Did we understand the gift it would be to raise a family? I certainlydidn’t, but had the incredible good fortune to raise four wonderful,healthy children and be blessed by twofabulous grandchildren. They are my greatest accomplishment and fill my life with joy. Due to companytransfers, I have lived in Newport, RI, Raleigh, NC and am now retired to Wilmington, NC...a beautiful relaxedsouthern coastal city. My work has always been with large organizations - NOAA, Geological Survey and DukeEnergy, and when I decided to update my skills or “retool” myself, I enjoyed a number of years working atWilmington’s, New Hanover Regional Medical Center. It was my favorite job – sometimes it takes us a while toreally understand what we need to be happy and fulfilled, and our life takes a different path. My life is like myknitting projects (which is my favorite hobby), and all my life’s experiences have knitted together to create asatisfying result from lots of effort! Sometimes it is not exactly what you expect but it is all good!

I left MD in '73 living in England, Germany, VA and TN before returning to MD in '98 (living & working inAnnapolis). Pete Mulgrew ('63) and I had been great friends since Jr High. Both being divorced, we reunited atthe 2000 Reunion after having not seen each other for 16 years and have been together ever since. We arevery close to our children (we have 2 each) and grandchildren (9 total). We're still best friends! Recently retired,we moved from Annapolis to Middlebury, VT and now also have a condo in Pawleys Island, SC where we spendwinters playing lots of golf and spending time at the beach. Recent RMHS visitors have been Betty Roach,Delores Thayer, Patsy Monard, and Mike Kamrad. Frank Emerson lives only a few miles away in SC and heand Pete have played golf together. If there had been an award for the "most skipped days" (for manyreasons)in grades 10-12, I have no doubt I would have won it. However, I went on to earn a BS Degree inBusiness from the University of Tennessee...Magna Cum Laude! Who would have thought? We will lookforward to the 50th (Yikes!) Reunion! Hopefully it won't be as crazy as our Senior Party (after banquet atWashingtonian) that was held at my house. I had to pick up 300 beer cans the next day and I think my horsemight have even been a bit tipsy. Best to all...

Ten days after I graduated from RMHS, I entered the U.S.Navy. Went through basis training in San Diego, Ca.,for thirteen weeks. Then entered Navy Corps School in San Diego, for twenty weeks. In 1965 I was stationed atBethesda Naval Hospital. I married Yvonne Louise Murphy (1964) February 17, 1966 at the Bethesda NavalChapel. Fifty two days after we married, I was sent to Camp Le June, North Carolina, for Fleet Marine ForceTraining on my way to Viet Nam. I was a combat corpsman with the 1st Battalion 9th Marines "B" Company, 3rdMarine Division. Vonnie and I were married 18 years. She fought the cancer for the last three years of her lifeand died May 1, 1984. I had been a Montgomery County Police Dispatcher from 1967 to 1988. After which I wasin Retail until I retired on Social Security at age 62. In 1985, I married Victoria Walton Ewan (Class of 1965), andwe have a total of five children. later, we adopted a sixth child. We now have a total of fifteen grandchildren.Vicki and I have been married for twenty eight years. We now live in Palmyra, Pa., six miles East of Hershey,Pa. Well that's about it for now.

Upon graduation from RM I departed to Minnesota to find my fame and fortune. What I did find were mosquitoesas big as the fish, snow and more snow. After about two years returned back to Maryland due to circumstancesbeyond my control; as in pre-induction physicals. I knew my civilian time was short. Shortly after arriving back inMaryland I received my draft notice and promptly enlisted in the Navy the same day. Thought it was my bestchance to see the world. The Navy in its infinite wisdom sent me to Basic Electricity and Electronics School thento Radiomen A School. Then shipped me out to Navcomsta Balboa in the Panama Canal Zone for the durationof my enlistment. Never got to see the world but Panama was a tropical paradise. After leaving the Navy didsome time at the Rockville Post Office and the Montgomery Cty. police department as a dispatcher. In 1971Marie and I were married and I decided to use the GI Bill and attend the Univ. of Md. Amazingly I graduated infour years……I can now say I graduated from a Big Ten University. In 1980 I was able to hook up with the GEInformation Technology Division which was then sold to RCA which later was sold to Martin Marietta whichmerged with Lockheed and became Lockheed Martin. In 2007 I retired after 28 years in management ingovernment contracting and would add loving it…no stress and no alarm clock. Marie plans on retiring inDecember of this year from the Federal Government. We both like to travel and love cruising…..have seen mostof the warm Caribbean. Since retiring I have been busy checking things off my bucket list and of course I keepadding to it. Best RM memories……football games and waiting for Brian Freeman to arrive at school in his 56Chevy with others….we would pile in and tell Brian to head for Chesapeake Beach and he always said lets go.Of course there have been many life experiences over the last 50 years….but as I tell my Kids….what doesn’tkill you makes you stronger. Looking forward to a fantastic 50 year reunion.

Sometime after RMHS graduation briefly attended Montgomery College but decided I had enough of school so Ijoined the USMC - two tours in Vietnam (infantry) - clearly this was not me so I went back to Mont College, thento Univ of MD - then accepted a position with the Internal Revenue Service (everyone's favorite) and remainedthere for the next 31+ years in various domestic and international enforcement related positions. After 32 years of many assignments including supervising, selling,system engineering and consulting I decided to return to hard years of play in 2001 retiring from Verizon. I consider myself blessed that a significant number of us stay in touch (pre-dating Facebook) and still gettogether and enjoy each other’s company. Hopefully, the reunion will expand the group. I’ve been traveling forthe past 50 years: 30 years in the Navy (Japan, Philippines, Greece, several Mediterranean and Indian Oceancruises), twelve in business in various parts of the U.S., and the past four in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have fivechildren (ages 21 to 42), 5 grandchildren, 11 dogs (rescues mostly), and 2 parrots that I can’t explain. My wife,Kari, is a nursing professor for several online universities and does a great job holding the whole thing togetherwhile I continue to wander around looking for closure. We’ve lived in South Florida (probably less than 20minutes from Carol Heldreth but didn’t know it) for 13 years, the last 6 waiting for the youngest three children tograduate from FGCU “Dunk City”. In anticipation of the final graduation next year, we’re overhauling our homeoutside of Knoxville and planning the move halfway back to Rockville.

Hello old friends, it has been many years since I have seen any of you. After graduating from the U of MD, Itaught in Montgomery Co for two years. I married Capt. David Lynn in 1971 in Frederick, and proceeded tomove around the country and globe with him. We were at Ft. Detrick for a few years where our son Mike wasborn. We then went to Ft. Bragg and onto Belgium where Amy was born. Virginia was our next home and I wasable to attend the 20th reunion which was a blast. After VA we moved to CO so David could work at FitzsimonsArmy Medical Center. I went back into teaching, got my Masters in Technology, and David retired as a Lt. Col.Our children grew up, got married, and had kids of their own. We have four wonderful grandsons. Mike was inMN for awhile but now lives near Boulder. Amy lives in Aurora, CO with her husband and two sons. We are soblessed to have them near. I am retired now and getting to choose my activities, including volunteering. Rightnow I am a docent at Cherokee Ranch and Castle. Yes there are castles in Colorado. Sad to see that some ofour classmates have left us and I hope that those of you still kicking are doing well. The last 50 years have gone by so fast. I took my mother to her 50th class reunion in 1982 and I now it isalready time for ours. Life has been very good to me. As a single mom, I was fortunate to have my four childrento turn out to be wonderful caring adults, who have achieved success in their chosen fields. We remain closeeven though my daughter is in Arizona and my middle son lives in southern California. My other two sons livewithin three miles and we get together often. I graduated from Hood College with a BA in Business Managementand a minor in Human Resources Management. This provided me the opportunity to hold an administrativeposition with Frederick County Maryland Public Schools. It was a very rewarding career and after 25 years, Iretired in 2009. Retirement has given me more time to work on my love of quilts and quilting and to use thoseskills in various charity projects supported by my quilt guild. Retirement is wonderful! In 1999, I married my highschool sweetheart, George Grabowski (RMHS ’62). After my graduation, we went our separate ways and thengot back together 35 years later. We have a home in Jefferson, Maryland where we spend as little time aspossible. Our other home is a 43’ Winnebago Motor Home and we travel all over the United States. You can findus in Clermont, Florida from November until April. We just love the freedom our COW (condo on wheels) allowsus. We are so very fortunate to be able to lead this life style thanks to help of my sons who take care of thehouse while we are away. It doesn't look like we will be able to attend the reunion as we have a trip planned, butI wish all of you a wonderful time. After graduation, I went to work for the fire service in Rockville at Station 3 on Hungerford Drive. In 1967 Imarried Linda Ack, a nurse at Suburban Hospital, and we started our family with the birth of our son, Thomas Jr.in 1969 and daughter, Tammy, in 1973. In 1988, Linda passed away after an extended illness. During my 30+year career in the fire service, I held positions as an Instructor, Metro Officer, Safety Officer and StationCommander. In addition, I was a founding member of the Montgomery County Urban Search and RescueTeam. As a member of this team, I traveled to Oklahoma City in 1995 to perform rescue operations in theaftermath of one of this countries worst disasters. I also participated in rescue operations in 2001 at thePentagon after the events of 9/11. After retirement, I served as the Fire Chief of Rockville VFD, LaytonsvilleDistrict VFD and currently the Fire Chief at Takoma Park VFD. I am currently employed by Maryland FireEquipment Corporation as the Director of Training. In 1999 I married Shelley Daly and she and her son, Tomjoined my family. I am the proud Grandfather of six grandchildren, Lance (22), Alyssa (21), Jamie (16), Laine(13), Carly (10), and Colton (4). In my "free" time, Shelley and I enjoy cruise vacations to exotic places. Like most of us, I have had a wild & adventurous life. Since leaving Rockville, I have lived in Los Angeles,Seattle, Texas, Oklahoma, Spokane, WA and now Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. His profile page says he lives in Spencerville, MD and that he was onceemployed by the Harlequin Dinner Theater in Rockville, MD where he appeared in over 55 productions over a20 year period. After graduation, I attended Montgomery College (Rockville Campus) then transferred toBenjamin Franklin University, where I was an accounting and business administration major, escaping with aBCS. After college, was employed with the Montgomery County Public Schools in their Accounting Department.During the later part of 1972, I simultaneously auditioned for the Harlequin in Rockville and was hired inHarlequin's second show, PROMISES, PROMISES. In January of 1973, I resigned my position with MCPS, andbecame an actor with said company. During my time at the Harlequin, in Rockville, MD as well as Atlanta, GA, Ibecame reacquainted with many RMHS alumni who graduated before and after our graduating class when theypatronized the Harlequin. The Harlequin closed its doors in 1992. Learning to diversify I was working part timefor an association when not in rehearsals for a show which turned out to be my next stepping stone. From theHarlequin, I worked for a private association for attorneys and Interstate Commerce Commission practitionerswho practiced transportation law before the various federal courts and the Interstate Commerce Commission.With the coming of deregulation of the transportation industry during the Reagan administration, the associationdecided to close the association's DC office in 1990. My partner (whom I met in 1979) and I formed anassociation management company, and was able to assist the association to run their transportation lawseminars as well as their Annual Meetings. While doing this we were able to travel throughout this country tomany of America's finest resort areas. At the same time, I found another passion in bowling, both on the local,national, and international levels as a bowler, a league officer, as well as many other administrative positions.Traveled to many bowling tournaments (purely social events) throughout the USA, including Hawaii as well asCanada, Australia, and New Zealand. Through my bowling contacts, and making many friends throughout thiswonderful country, I became involved in mentoring GLBT young men and women and championed many HIVand AIDS prevention and GLBT causes concerning health care, human rights and marriage equality. I am stillgainfully employed with NETworks Presentations LLC, a theatrical production company in Columbia, MD thatproduces Broadway musicals for national and international tours. Theater was always a passion although it trulywas not discovered and nurtured until after my time at RMHS. Although somewhat active in Black Maskers, andof course, John Preston's Glee Club. I believe our senior musical, WONDERFUL TOWN, planted the seed thatwas soon to be the blossoming of a character actor. Together with June Allen, Wonderful Town's Director,Hampton King (a 1965 RMHS graduate [now deceased]) and classmate Barry Norkin formed a group called theRockville Jesters that created and performed original musicals. The group grew in many varied ways and is nowknown as ROUNDHOUSE Theatre. My partner and I split in that magical mystical year of 2000. Although I amnow single, I am still very close to my many relatives in Pittsburgh, PA, as well as my brother, Richard (anRMHS graduate in 1969), my sister in law, Jill, and my godson and nephew, Brian Richard, who in his own right,is employed with the City of Chicago and also with Holy Family in Palatine, IL, and is a responsible and loving

How can fifty years have passed already? I’m really looking forward to the reunion and reconnecting with “old”friends. In a snapshot, I attended the University of Maryland after graduation. In 1966, I married my high schoolsweetheart, Leigh Wheeler (RMHS Class of 1962) after he graduated from the United States Military Academy.We spent the early years living in West Germany and on various military bases. Prior to Leigh’s departure toVietnam, we moved back to Rockville, Maryland. Upon his return, graduation from medical school andcompletion of residency, we moved to West Point and stayed for ten years. During this time, I lovingly raisedthree children as a stay-at-home mom. Leigh retired from the military in 1987, and continued to practiceEmergency Medicine in Manchester, New Hampshire. Our transition to civilian life was a welcomed change. Wehad built a home in Vermont in advance of his military retirement and we split our time primarily betweenVermont and New Hampshire. During the past three years of full retirement, we have enjoyed traveling theworld. I am proud to say that our three children have grown to become successful adults, and we have sixbeautiful grandchildren. LOCATION: For the past 50years, my road has continued to diverge, taking me first to college in Ohio, then back to Maryland for 17 yearsbefore my job took me Illinois for a year, then brought me back to Maryland briefly, before landing me in NewEngland for another 17 years (Maine and New Hampshire). Thanks to a relocation opportunity with his company2003, hubby Dan Cushing and I now call the beautiful Northwest home – Dan likes to say it’s like New Englandon steroids: similar scenery, but the trees and mountains are higher (probably because of all the rain we get).Yes, that part’s true – it does rain here, but unless one of the volcanoes blows, the climate is pleasantly mildhere in Gig Harbor, WA (#5 on the Smithsonian’s 2012 list of the 20 best small towns in America). I loved NewEngland, but those black flies - really? Not to mention the heat, humidity, snow and ice . . . although that wasgood exercise, shoveling snow. PERSONAL: Between us, Dan and I have three daughters (one in Dublin,Ireland, one in Boston, one in Tacoma, WA), one daughter-in-law (also Tacoma), three grown grandchildren (inCA, WA and KS) and two cats (here with us). PROFESSIONAL: Dan has retired and become a skilled woodturner, while I still work part-time in real estate, having retired from computer programming, corporate training,technical writing and professional organizing. I’ve published a book on technical training and numerous articleson a variety of subjects, and look forward to pursuing more writing projects when I really retire. And travel – we’lldo more traveling once my schedule relaxes.

I went tothe morning graduation ceremony and started my job as a new car get-ready mechanic on that same afternoon.This field has been good to me. I've held positions in Service and Sales. After having fun at Richard Montgomery, I went to work at NIH for three years as an administrative assistant. In1967 I became a full time stay at home Mom raising five children, three girls and two boys. I returned to work in1986 as a Para Educator in the Kindergarten class at St Mary's Catholic School here in Rockville and thentransitioned to a job with the Autism department of Montgomery Country Public Schools in 1995. My focus wasworking with 5-9 year old special need students. In 1996 I remarried and began a new chapter in my personallife with Tom Hosinski. Tom retired from the Montgomery County police force in 2003 after 32 years of serviceand I retired in 2008. The last 50 years has beenquite an adventure. Towson State University(then Towson State Teachers College) is where I received my BSin Teaching and a Masters in Ed Tech(Communications). After teaching for nine years and loving it most of thetime; I really wanted a change in vocation and location. We (my husband and I) had built a beautiful home inHartford County; and although I hated to leave IT-it was time for a marital status change! With my new foundfreedom I moved to Phoenix, AZ; bought I house and started a new career as an audio Visual consultant. Thatcareer took me to California, Texas, back to California and to literally 11 countries globally. Quite a ride. But justlike getting tired from being in a car too long-I tired of being on the road all the time. In 1987 my S.O. at the timeand I bought a Franchise and ran 5 offices promoting weight loss. After 6 years of very hard work theCorporation sold and left its owners high and dry. I won't bore you with the details. I decided to go back toschool and study Clinical Nutrition to enhance my business. I wanted one office not five! My partner and Idisagreed and the business and my life became my own again. Twenty one years later I still have that samebusiness and itis going strong. The best news I have to offer you is that the love of my life has come at last-andwe will marry next year!! His name is Howard and he is a keeper! Since I never had children Howard comes with3 sons and two grandchildren. A built in grown up family! Life is really good!

50 years! Can it possibly be that long since we were all sitting in the stands cheering on our favorite team, theROCKETS??? Well, time marches on. Bonnie and Robert have been married for 44 years and have two sons,Jeff and Scott and two beautiful granddaughters, Cara, 4 and Leah, 2. We spent the majority of our first yearstogether living in Frederick County near Urbana, raising our sons in the beautiful rolling hills. I taught in theMontgomery County School System before becoming a stay at home mom. Bob has been a CFO for manydifferent companies during his career. In 1999, we decided to move across the Bay Bridge to the Eastern Shorefor our new life as "empty nesters". We have now been here for 15 years! After many years of teaching, Idecided to pursue my passion for antiques and have now been in the business for 12 years, working in a nearbyshop in Stevensville, Md. and selling my wares. Have met many wonderful, interesting people. I spend myleisure time with of course, my grandchildren, knitting, painting furniture to sell, going to auctions, relaxing onour boat and enjoying the beautiful sights of the Eastern shore. Bob retired in 2013 and we have now decided tomove back across the bridge to be closer to our two sons and granddaughters. Following graduation from RM, Ben applied for and was granted an NROTC scholarship to the University ofWisconsin. While in Madison, he studied Business Administration and received his BBA, with Honors, and wascommissioned an Ensign in the U.S. Navy Supply Corps in June, 1969. A week after graduation, the next majorevent on his calendar was his wedding to the love of his life, the former Judy Tarallo. Following their wedding inJune of ’69, Ben and Judy began what was to become a 20-year career in the Navy. During his Navy careerBen served onboard a destroyer, a fleet oiler, and an attack aircraft carrier. When he was not serving on seaduty, Ben established a specialty in the world of defense procurement and acquisition management for some ofthe Navy’s premier weapons systems, including the world-renowned F-14 fighter aircraft (remember Tom Cruisein the movie Top-Gun . . .) and the U.S. Air Force’s air-launched cruise missile, where he was the deputyprogram manager for business and financial management for each of these multi-billion dollar programs.Throughout their career in the Navy, Ben and Judy placed a high priority on fulfilling the old Navy advertisingslogan, “Join the Navy and see the world!” See the world indeed: in addition to many stateside duty stations,over the years Ben and Judy have taken advantage of nearly every opportunity to travel to many fascinatingcities and world capitals, including: London; Paris; Rome; Athens; Brussels; Munich; Oberamergau; Honolulu;Sydney, Auckland, Cairo, and Jerusalem and many other less well-known destinations. Upon retirement fromthe Navy in 1989, Ben and Judy continued their world travels, with Ben serving as a consultant on behalf of TSC(Technology Solutions Company), and later as a Senior Instructor with ESI (Educational Services International),the world’s largest provider of project management training to commercial and government contractors. In themiddle of 2009, after spending nearly 40 years practicing and teaching program and project management, Benlaunched the Federal Acquisition Certification Academy, establishing himself as President and Academic Dean.The past five years have seen consistent growth in the number of courses presented and the number ofstudents who have earned their Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PMas they call it in the federal government). During this time, the Academy has also increased its employees fromone (Ben) to six, including Judy as Controller; Brian (their son) as VP for Strategy and Operations; and Jenny(their daughter) as Operations Manager; and Heather (daughter-in-law) as Director of Development.

I've been reading the RM64 bio's and it seems as if some giant hand has tossed the pebbles all across thecountry! I graduated from UNC/Chapel Hill in 1968, was commissioned an Ensign in the Navy via NROTC, andimmediately began the nomadic life of a naval officer. Over the years I was lucky enough to command threeships and several task units. Attended the Naval Postgraduate School at Monterey, CA (Same time that Benand Judy Sellers were there!) and earned a Masters in Financial Management/Accounting. Retired from theservice in early 90's and built an accounting/tax practice with offices in Herndon, VA. Client base was beltwaybandits and small business in the Dulles Corridor. Sold the practice in 2009 and bought a horse farm in thefoothills of the Blue Ridge southwest of Culpeper, VA. Cathy and I don't keep horses ourselves, but lease outpastures and stables to a lady who does rescue work. The herd usually consists of 4-7 horses. Nice way forgeezers to have animals around without the work. Currently doing historical research and writing as a way tostave off senility! Have been fortunate enough to publish two novels about Pontiac's Rebellion in PA (French &Indian War period)called the Forbes Road Series which are selling well at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. A thirdis in prep which takes the protagonist to Virginia in the days immediately before the revolution. Cathy and I arefortunate that all children and grandkids live in Virginia, so we are able to enjoy frequent family gatherings.Looking forward to the reunion and catching up with classmates next year!

After graduation with the irreplaceable class of ‘64, I attended Wake Forest College, in Winston-Salem, NC. Itraveled with my family to attend my sister Cathy’s graduation from the University of Idaho in the spring of ‘66,and was reminded of how much I love Idaho, so, of course, immediately transferred to the U of I, from which Igraduated in June of ‘68. My first job was as a Systems Engineer with IBM in Baltimore. I moved to Sacramentoin the spring of 1970, where I worked for Pacific Bell Telephone until 1987. Upon my father’s death in 1986, Imoved back to Maryland to be with my Mom. During those seventeen years in Maryland, I was lucky enough tobe able to travel with my mom (and Mrs. B, frequently) on multiple trips throughout the world, hitting everycontinent except Antarctica, a destination I deleted from my bucket list a couple of years ago. In 1996, Iexperienced my first fifteen minutes of fame when I was a contestant on “Wheel of Fortune,” which I won threedays in a row, and was, for a while, ranked as the fourth highest winnings earner in the history of the show.This, inevitably led to my long and successful TV career (untrue). My Mom and I moved to Idaho in 2005, whereI became an entrepreneur (MauiWowi franchisee). When my Mom’s health started to decline in 2010, I sold mybusiness so that I could enjoy every day with her. She passed away in November of 2012. As I write this, I’m inthe process of leaving Meridian, Idaho, having sold both our homes. The closing date is 5/30/14, and, hopefully,by the time of our reunion, I’ll have a new permanent address. I’m so looking forward to seeing all of you.

The past half century can be distilled into a few paragraphs PERSONAL LIFE: I married Steve Ockrassa(RMHS ’63). He went to college briefly, to Vietnam, and then to law school. We divorced in 1978. The best thingwe got out of our marriage was our son, Warren, a graphic artist living in Flagstaff with his journalist wife. Iremarried the love of my life, Pete, in 2004 after a whirlwind courtship of 17 years. He’s the main reason Iwanted to come to the reunion, to show him off. Sigh. PROFESSIONAL LIFE: After some college, I worked inthe publishing industry for the first half of my work life. I worked for the Montgomery County Sentinel, then for abook publishing company in Omaha, and finally as the graphic artist and sales rep for Mohave Graphics inKingman until they closed the shop in the early 80s. I made a career change, moving into legal support, workingfor private law firms, then for the County Attorney’s Office. My final job, the crown jewel, was as the JudicialAssistant to a Superior Court Judge here. My favorite job, however, was at the County Attorney’s Office. Thereis something so satisfying about putting away the bad guys, the ones with lots of priors that I was always able toferret out. HOBBIES AND INTERESTS: My enthusiasm for choral singing, fostered under the teaching of Mr.John Preston, has been a theme running through my life like an underlying tune I hum to myself. My love ofpoetry -- reading and writing it -- abide. But most of all, my love for Jesus has been a constant that has upheldme through every trial in life. I have been held in the hollow of His hand, to my undying gratitude. Wish I couldbe there with all of you, but we already had other plans. There are so many of you I’d like to see in person. Thereunion book will have to do for now.

Karl earned his M.S degree in Systems Management from the University of SouthernCalifornia in 1981 before leaving Germany. Following Germany, the Air Force transferred us to Randolph AFB,Air Force Manpower and Personnel Center, San Antonio, TX. After TX, we were transferred to McGuire AFB,NJ to the 1998 Communications Group; Karl retired in 1989. After the Air Force, we moved to Madison, AL,bedroom community of Huntsville. Happy New Year Class of 1964! Didn't we have fun---way back when!!!I hope everyone is still having fun! I am,even though I work 2 jobs! I have been teaching nursing for many years, in Maryland, Texas, Virginia,Delaware. I got my masters Degree, after working at University Hospital in Baltimore for 3 years(IncludingShock Trauma). Worked at the Ocean City Crisis Center during the summers I went to school, then married inBethany Beach,to Amos Fuhrmann and took up residence in Clarksville, Delaware. We were lucky enough tohave 2 great kids, Todd and Traci and then our adventures began. We moved approximately every 7 years dueto Amos's change in employment. For a Rockville girl, I was never happy about moving but once there,everything was wonderful. The kids were great at soccer, I even coached girl's soccer for 5 years---and wonchampionships!! Amazing!! Amos coached and refereed! Eventually both kids went to college to playsoccer----but did get good educations, as well. In 1999, Amos and I moved to Elkton, MD. Todd lives in lowerDelaware, where he is the Athletic Director, Athletic Trainer and teacher.Traci is married and works for DNR inDover, DE. Todd has 2 beautiful kids with his wife, Crystal.I am so happy to be a grandmother. Amos passedaway in 2006 and we miss him, terribly, but we are all doing well! Keep working, my mother always said! We attend the Interdenominational Church of God with our children and grandchildren. It issuch a blessing. I enjoy my family. We share holidays together mostly in the Summer because I have the bigback yard. My son is a great grill master. He got that from my Dad (deceased) so he and I together we bring iton for the throwdowns at my house. My potato salad and the peach cobbler are big hits at family functions. After graduating from RMHS I went on to college, starting at the University of Delaware, and eventuallytransferring to the University of Wisconsin. I graduated in 1968 with a degree in Retailing and enough credits tominor in Business. After graduation, I had a variety of jobs in the business/retail world, including one stint as acorporate officer for a small business in Jacksonville, Florida. In June, 1969, after a four year wait, Ben Sellers(the love of my life) & I married, and promptly took off for 20 years of adventure and travel in the US Navy. Ourduty stations included Athens, GA; Jacksonville, FL; DC; Norfolk, VA; Monterey, CA (our favorite!!); Guam,USA; and back to DC. During our 20 years as Naval gypsies, we took advantage of every opportunity to travel,and Uncle Sam complied: I followed Ben's aircraft carrier on Mediterranean cruises two different times andspent five months in Europe one year, 3 months the next. When we finally returned home, I gave birth to ourson Brian, and became a stay-at-home wife and mother, roles I truly cherished. Our tour of duty on the island ofGuam, a tiny speck in the Pacific Ocean, provided other travel opportunities, this time in Asia. During our twoyear tour there, we visited Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and enroute, Hawaii, and the Micronesian islandsof Truk and Ponape. Our determination to travel continued even after Ben's retirement from the Navy in 1989,and has taken us to Israel, Egypt, Australia, and New Zealand, and, (closer to home), to Canada & Nova Scotia.In 1983, our daughter, Jennifer, was born, and I officially became a professional volunteer. With 2 kids playingtraveling soccer, basketball, field hockey, and too many other activities to count, we stayed on the go nonstopuntil each of them left for college. Ben has worked for two different companies since retiring from the Navy, andin 2008, in a moment of temporary insanity, opened his own training company, the Federal AcquisitionCertification Academy, specializing in training for civilian government agencies in the program/projectmanagement fields. Now our entire family is involved, from our son and daughter-in-law here, to our daughter inSan Diego. I didn't manage to escape the call of the company either, so it is truly a family business. The onlymembers of our family who aren't involved are our two granddaughters who are two and four years old! Lordonly knows when we will actually retire, but I will say that this business certainly is keeping our minds active andengaged. We are really looking forward to our 50th (can hardly believe it) reunion and to reconnecting with all ofyou. See you in October!!

After graduation from RMHS, attended the Univ. of California, graduating in 1968. I entered the Marine Corpsofficer program and had a one year tour in RVN ('69-'70) with an infantry unit. Personal decorations include aBronze Star with "V". It was a privilege to have served with some of the finest young men of our generation.Thereafter, I was fortunate enough to have a thirty-year career with the FBI, having the opportunity to work thefollowing: (1) Organized Crime including the "skimming" activities at the Tropicana and Stardust Casinos,resulting in the indictment and conviction of the Kansas City, Chicago, and Milwaukee OC principles. Alsohandled liaison with the NCAA and "Big 8" Conference, giving presentations regarding bookmaking andorganized crime to the football and basketball coaches. (2) A lead agent on a political corruption matter resultingin the conviction of over 15 local law enforcement personnel. (3) Additionally have worked extensive financialfraud investigations, to include bankruptcy and mortgage frauds, receiving National recognition with the 1stAnnual U.S. Trustee's Director's award. Currently I am self employed as a contractor with DOJ, with no plans forretirement within the near future. I have eight adult children and six grandchildren. I recall with great fondnessthe times at RMHS. I regret that with the distance and work schedule, I will not be able to attend the reunion, butdo extend my best regards to the members of the class of '64.

At that time, we had 126 employees & 4 offices in MD & VA. We were a full service civilengineering,surveying, construction inspection & landscape architectural firm serving public sector (local, state& federal) clients. - In July 2002, my second husband (married Tom in Dec. 1984) moved to Las Vegas, Nevadato enjoy the warm high desert climate & this fun sin City. We built a house on a private golf course in a privategated community in the hills west of the city. - My daughter, Suzanne was married in March 2008. She lives inTulsa, Ok. We have 3 grandsons. Until I recall all that has filled the last 50 years, it's hard to believe that graduation from Richard Montgomerywas so long ago. I attended college, married, followed my newly commissioned Navy husband across thecountry, across the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, and then back to the east coast where we settled when hisservice was completed. We had two sons and I immersed myself in our community and church, and all theactivities that went along with being a full-time mom. Years later, when David and I married, we continued livingin Northern Virginia. After he retired from Civil Service, we began spending our winters on the west coast ofFlorida on Anna Maria Island. We now spend half of the year there and the other half, in North Carolina. In2007, after ten years in Fairfax City, we relocated to Charlotte, one of several places I had lived previously, andwhere my younger son had settled. We enjoy the activities and the variety of life the two places offer. Throughthe lens of my camera, I passionately attempt to capture the beauty of nature I find at the shore in Florida or inthe mountains of North Carolina, as well as places we visit as we travel. A special joy, though, is spending timewith our little grandchildren. One son was blessed with twins, a boy and a girl, in 2011, and the other son with adaughter the next year. Family has always been a main focus in my life and becoming a grandmother has onlymade life that much sweeter.

Well, it's been quite a ride since RM. MJC then two tours in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee, out of service two greatkids, some more college and work in the construction business, started on the DC metro, on to Cleveland for anuclear power plant (thought Nuclear was our future). Worked on a canal in Mississippi (it was like going back intime). Back to Maryland building Condo Towers; on to Florida in 1990 here ever since but we will be moving toCharleston, SC soon. Many hobbies and activities have filled our life with skiing, Ballroom dancing competitionsaround the country to cycling, car shows and car club activities. We like hiking and trail riding, anything to beoutdoors. My hobbies consist of stamp collecting, ship modeling, nature photography (film and digital), and oldsports cars. Active in many community groups. Enjoy good wine, fine dining, and being with Judy; she still putsup with me after 47 years!!! We've raised and shown horses mainly with our kids, did a lot of fishing down herein Florida, dodged hurricanes but through it all we still miss old Rockville and Maryland. I gave up golf after 50plus years and found that the time I gained for people and activities was a good thing. WOW! I can't wait to seeeverybody next month, I have finally decided to stop working, i.e.RETIRE, Judy and I are moving to Charleston,SC just in time to see the Fall colors.

I married Dolly in 1970, shortly after returning from Vietnam. Today, we have twogrown children who have their own families - Jennifer Kalka has two little kids and Chris has one little girl. I havebeen in business my entire career and today still own and operate a government contracting firm. I still enjoysports and stay as active as I can with tennis, cycling, and jogging. I guess I will continue all of that until myknees give out. Graduation 1964 Richard Montgomery – I worked that summer and then started MC in the fall. After severalsemesters doing both I knew that I wanted and needed to get away and be on my own. I went to work for UnitedAirlines as a Flight Attendant. I lived and flew out of Chicago & New York City before moving back to DC areawith a flying partner while we awaited a transfer to Denver, CO. While living in Alexandria I met an Army Pilot,stationed at Ft. Belvoir who lived in the same building. Never did transfer to Denver, but I did marry the pilot. Wehave lived in both Virginia and Maryland and that is where we raised our two children Jeff & Meghan. As with allof us our family has continued to grow and with today’s “Modern Family” we are now blessed to have 6grandchildren and three great grandchildren, all living in the Washington, Baltimore area. I continued to work inthe travel related industry thru out my career. I consider myself mostly retired these days but still arrange a fewgroup trips for friends and family. My husband John is still working full time – considering retirement of somesort. We divide our free time with Grandchildren, family & friends. Travel is our passion and we are alwaysplanning our next adventure. (2014-Our latest adventure was a 24 day trip to Iceland, Amsterdam & NorwegianFjords). We frequent Wilmington, North Carolina and will hopefully retire there as we plan the next stage of thisgreat adventure – Life!

The time I spent at RMHS shaped me and all of us 50 years ago today - November 22nd, 1963. Early thatafternoon between classes we heard ‘The President has been shot in Dallas’. Later we heard ‘The President isdead’. My speech teacher said we didn’t have to give our presentations. In shock some did anyway and somechoose not to. We all watched our TVs over the entire weekend on all three channels because we felt so closeto this tragic event. Some of us walked through the Capitol Rotunda in the last hours Monday morning viewingthe President’s casket just before the funeral processional took him to Arlington. We all remember that moment.This was our event that defines us because we are who and what we are today as we moved forward. I watchedthe remembrance event in Dallas today. It’s not just about this event past and present that I want to rememberbut what we shared and what we’ve achieved since then. It’s about our legacy, hard work, our prayers and hopefor our future generations that RMHS seniors saw, acted upon and made possible for the through our friends,children, grandchildren and all the people we touched. We are making a difference. As a Navy brat I moved withmy family far west after RMHS to Honolulu, HI and graduated in 1968 from Chaminade College of Honoluluearning a commission in the U.S. Marine Corps. Life had its ups and downs. My marriage to a wonderful localgirl, Suzette, gave us a beautiful daughter, Jill Aulani, but my absence from them in the line of duty ended thatrelationship. After Viet Nam, Okinawa and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba they remain in Southern California doingwell and we visit them often as family. I met a beautiful South Texas blond school teacher in Okinawa andmarried her after my last tour in 1981. We lived in Northern VA and Germany and I retired in 1991 from theMarine Corps after roaming the world. We spent another 5 years in Germany; she working for the InternationalSchool of Stuttgart and me with Alcatel Deutschland. It was too much fun but we had to get back to the realworld. A transfer brought us back to Dallas and we now live in Flower Mound, just north of DFW airport. Toomuch work is a good thing so I’ll still working for Centurylink as a senior sales engineer. We hunt at our familyranch in south Texas and enjoy our 4 growing grandkids whenever we get out to southern CA or bring themback to TX. My bride, Linda, has an antique/estate sales business that keeps us busy with her shows and salesaround TX and the US. Life is good. If I’d never met any of you at RMHS and experienced the camaraderie youshared with me I wouldn’t be enjoying the life I live today. Ya’ll challenged me just when I needed it and I thankeach of you for the time you spent with me. Go Rockets! Pat still fits into his letter jacket!

Since I had joined the Navy during my senior year, ten days after graduation I left for active duty. I was stationaboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga. I was on board the ship for 2 Mediterranean Sea deployments. Then Icame back to the area and started working for C&P of Washington as an installer. In 1970 moved to York, Pa.Started working for GTE (later Verizon) as a switching technician. As all of us have, I transitioned thrutechnologies. 50 years of life into a little box? Here goes...Air Force out of high school. I spent the Viet Nam War in Tucson,AZ. Back to MD for 7 years, then back to AZ for 12 years, then NC, FL, and finally back to NC. I've beenmarried twice, divorced twice, now living the life of a retired bachelor. I have 6 kids (hers, mine and ours), 9grandkids, and a partridge in a pear tree. I've had a varied work history including computer science, telephonetechnician, truck driver, and radio disc jockey. My hobbies include woodworking, watching sports, motorcycleriding, singing oldies and southern gospel, and sleeping. I have survived 4 heart attacks and am doing well. I ama happy man. "Happy, happy, happy." Recently I have had the privilege of serving with the Patriot Guard Riders,an organization that honors veterans and active military members who have passed away. I started at the University of Delaware working on an Elec. Engg. degree. After 2 years I switched to Math whichleft me short a few Arts & Science courses. So after 4 years I wasn’t ready to graduate. It was then that the draftwas in full swing and its net caught first my brother and then me. Brad was sent to Vietnam and I was sent toKorea. We both made it home in one piece. I went back to the UofD to finish up my degree. After college I wentto work for DuPont Engg. in their IS dept. I met and married Stephanie. Two kids came along after a few years.First in 1981 was Henry and then second in 1983 was Harry. Left DuPont after 12 years for Blue Cross BlueShield of Delaware when I saw signs of the company contracting. After 12 more years the Blues were doing thesame so I went to work for Zeneca (later to become AstraZeneca). I worked a couple of years within asubsidiary of AZ until they sold it off. Went back to work with BCBS of Delaware where I stayed until I retired inJuly of 2012. When I needed some extra credits in college for my Arts & Science Math degree I ended upgetting minors in Physics and Astronomy. This worked out really well since I now work with my wife in anon-profit science organization called the Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation. One of my jobs is to runthe observatory where we give monthly nighttime sky observing programs for the public.

After graduation I went to work for Geico were I worked for 12 years. I met Ed in late 1969 and we married in1972. In August/ Sept. 1973, we went on a belated long Honeymoom to Europe, where we toured Switzerland,Germany, Italy and Austria. We stayed with Ed's parents in Switzerland and used that as our Hub for travel.Ed's Dad was Legal Attache to Europe stationed at the U.S. Counsulate in Geneva. He took time off and he andmy mother-in-law were our tour guides. We moved to Gaithersburg, Md. in 1974 and Chris was born a year anda half later on Mothers Day of 1976. Then Shawn was born two and 1/2 years later. In late 1979, we moved toMount Aiy, Md. and have lived there eversince. After Shawn went to school full-time, I joined the staff at MountAiry Elementary School and worked there part-time for 12 years. I them went to work for an electronicsmanufactuer in Frederick, Md. for several years, before I retired to stay home. We had our first granddaughter inAugust, 2013 and I have been watching her for 3 / 4 days a week while her mother works as an elementaryschool special needs teacher. I am having the time of my life being a Grandmother. I am really looking forwardto seeing some of my old classmates. See you at the reunion.

After RM I attended Xavier U. in Cincinnati - for about seven years off and on. Among my accomplishments atXU were captain of the sailing team and bringing Jimi Hendrix to campus. But, alas, the requirements for adegree eluded me. I was the first person to be granted Conscientious Objector status by Rockville's Local BoardNo. 52. I started working for the Post Office in '67, first in Rockville and then in Gaithersburg. I held a bunch ofdifferent positions in the APWU including Local President and state level Secretary-Treasurer. After retiring in'06 I worked as a photographer for the Montgomery Co. Sentinel (got to shoot a lot of RM games), and forBlanton Studios along with classmate Gene Stevens. I took a major financial beating when the real estatemarket collapsed, and needed a change, so I moved back to the town in Wisconsin where I was born. Life herein Oshkosh is pleasant enough if you can ignore the toxic political climate. I am involved in a camera club, am afounding member of a nascent food co-op, and help run a community gardening program. I still do a lot of sportsphotography and am assembling a woodworking shop in my garage. Looking forward to seeing everyone at thereunion. Pat returned our call and said she is very interested in coming to the reunion. She is trying to work out herschedule and logistics for getting here in October. We hope to see her then.
