Class: Junior Infants Week beginning: 18th May 2020
Hello Girls,
This is our 5th week of distance learning and I must say I am so impressed with all the work that is being sent to
me. I am so grateful to you and your wonderful parents for all the effort. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
We never knew when we started this journey together in September that we would finish the year learning from
home. I hope that this time with your families will be a memory you treasure. Please remember that learning is in
every task no matter how simple and that if you are doing your best, then that is good enough. Remember to be
kind to yourself and others. We all have days when we feel low.
This week I have been learning to use Loom to make a video of me reading a story to you. I hope you like it. I make
a few mistakes along the way but as you know mistakes are a good thing because we learn from them. Our theme
this week is under the sea. I hope you enjoy the activities for this week.
Some activities I will not be collecting, however for others I will be asking you to email me some of your learning
where possible- these will be marked YES in the submission box. If you need to use your parent/ guardians email to
do this that is perfectly fine. In order to submit a picture/ sound clip or document to me, please ensure that you
put your name and title of the task in the subject of the email, so that I know who it is and what is being
submitted. I will check my emails every day, please email me your work as soon as you can.

P.S If there is a subject that you do not participate in e.g Religion please spend extra time on the Maths and English

I took a dive in the deep blue
sea, so many creatures swam
past me!
A father seahorse, taking care
of his young, A humpback whale,
a lovely song he sung.
A playful dolphin, frolicking

Then a shark came by with his
