Surat Ul Ghasheyyah

MAIN TOPICS:

Description of The Last Day, Some Faces Exhausted Some Happy, Prophets and Messengers Are Not A Controller Over Their People There duty is Only To Remind.

the surah's topics are Paradise, Hell and the miracle of creation of all things by God. God describes the difference between good and evil paths that an individual can take and the consequence of each path. He then clarifies their destiny and describes what hell would be like for the non-believers. The second theme mentions the creations God has made and referring to the sky, the earth and the mountains. Lastly, In verses 21-22, God gives a direct message to Prophet Muhammad and tells him, "So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. You are not over them a controller."

Questions and Answers:

1. How will the disbelievers be treated in the Hereafter? They will be made to enter the hot blazing fire, they will drink from a spring of boiling water and no food will be provided to them except bitter thorn, which will neither nourish them nor satisfy their hunger.

2. What comforts will the believers enjoy in the Hereafter? The believers will be joyful. They will be rewarded with a high Garden (Paradise), where there will be a flowing fountain. They will be seated in high couches and enjoy the drinking glasses. Cushions and rich carpets will be spread for them to rejoice in recompense for all the good deeds they did in this world.

3. In the above verses, Allah tells man to ponder over some of His creations. Mention those creations.

Allah tells us to ponder over: Camels – as to how they are created The Sky – as to how it is raised high The Mountains – as to how they are firmly fixed on the earth The earth – as to how it is spread

4. How did Allah console the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) regarding the unbelievers ignoring his call towards Islam? Allah consoles the Prophet (peace be upon him) by telling him that he need not worry when someone ignores his call, as his responsibility is only to remind the people of their duty and relationship with their Lord.

Assessment on the week of 2nd Feb according to your child’s timetable *patience And certainty Surat As-Sajdah:(23 -30) *The rule of Idgham (Blending)

The rules of silent Nun and Tanween: There are four rules (Izhar-Idgham –Ikhfaa-Iqlab) Each one has special letters and special way to pronounce Nun and tanween with which the recitation is very sweaty . Idgham is our topic this week

Al-Idghaam الإدغام It is the assimilation of one letter into the other. The rule of Idghaam will

apply when the letters of Idghaam is preceded by Noon As-Sakinah or

Tanween. The emphasis will be on the succeeding letter because of the

presence of Shaddah.

Letters of Idghaam: ي , ر , م , ل , و , ن and they are collected in the word (يرملون).

Idghaam is of two types:

1 – Idghaam with Ghunna: It has four letters (ي , ن , م , و )ينمو. And if any of

these letters precede Noon As-Sakinah or Tanween (it has to be in two words

or after tanween) it is read with Ghunna.

– Examples of Idghaam with Ghunna with Noon As-

Sakinah:
