As a one stop shop for photography, retouching and design, I help individual clients, photographers, artists, and businesses to create and maintain an exciting and consistent visual brand im-age online and offline, allowing them to concentrate on doing their job simply by sitting back and letting me do mine.

As a photographer who can cover you both backstage and on stage, in the studio

and outdoors, from simple pictures to major advertisements, Clark James digital can

be there to help you achieve a consistent visual aesthetic, and even retouch images

made by other photographers to visually match up.

rything from traditional headshots, to editorial fashion photography, commercial work,

event coverage and more, showcasing my ability to adapt to different subjects, and

deliver an iconic style to suit each shoot and leave a lasting impression.

Photography//My speciality is environmental portraiture, getting out of the studio and shooting somewhere more interesting and relevant. Whether delivering a confident, classic, natural looking headshot, or quirky, stylised imagery that’s just a little bit different, I am able to give you a visually engaging brand identity that will stand out. My ability to create diverse and extraordinary imagery, extends to my entire service range, able to work to a brief to deliver appropri-ate photography and design for any application.

Clark James was employed as our photographer for the GSA Fine Art: Painting and Printmaking Catalogue (2012).

For two days he worked solidly. He photographed just under 50 artworks in that time of varying scale and media and by the end of the first day he had already photographed and meticulously retouched the first half of the images to an extremely high stand-ard. Many of the students used the imagery in their own public-ity and documentation. Other students chose to employ Clark to photograph the rest of their artworks having been so happy with their initial results.

He dealt with many problems that day due to the complexity of people’s art works but excelled and seemed to relish the chal-lenge of them all. Due to the limited budget of the catalogue we were unable to do a test print to check colour and quality of the photographs. However, to our delight Clark’s initial work on the photographs meant they all printed out perfectly with amazing colour accuracy. To work with Clark was very enjoyable. He was highly efficient, hard working and confident in the knowledge he can do a great job on each image and keen to listen and achieve exactly what the artist wanted.
