Clarian First Aid & Health Safety Training was established in 1996 and prides itself on being able to deliver the courses you want, at the time and place to suit you or your organisation.We offer a good discount for delegates attending on block, and further more, we will not charge for any delegate who does not manage to pass the assessment of competence the first time around; we will pay for any re-assessments required to give them the best opportunity to complete the qualification they are trying to achieve. We do have an overall 98 per cent pass rate.Clarian First Aid & Health Safety Training can train at your workplace, based on a minimum of eight people, or alternatively arrange for you to come to one of our training venues. Emergency First Aid Course Level 3 This course offers a new outlook on the subject of first aid within a smaller workplace, where fewer health and safety hazards are present and where a nominated person is able to take charge in the event of an accident. First Aid at Work Level 3 The First Aid at Work course offers employees and employers a comprehensive training package for any staff members who required the full level 3 first aid workplace training qualification. This provides the employees with the skills and knowledge required to meet the required standards of workplace health and safety based on your workplace risk assessment. All the essential aspects of first aid are covered in detail, and after the successful completion of the assessments of competence, attendees will be awarded the first aid at work certificate, valid for three years from the awarding date. Citizen First Aid Level 2 This 3 hour course has been specially developed to enable citizens in personal safety and to aid others in emergency situations such as knife attacks, shootings, and explosions using the new citizens app or booklet guide. Also dealing with calling the emergency services, basic life support skills, such as basic CPR, Bleeds, Recovery position, and other actions for scene safety. Activity First Aid Level 2 This qualification has been designed for those who have a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid when dealing with an emergency situation whilst undertaking activities, such as sports in swimming, canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, biking, skiing etc.Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, head & spinal injuries, abdominal injuries, external bleeding, anaphylaxis and more. 6 Practical assessments & 2 Theory assessments (Multiple Choice Question Papers).Course Information 2 days - £125

Fire Safety/Wardens’ Training Course Level 2 This level 2 qualification provides employees with the knowledge to let them carry out designated duties relating to fire safety and emergency procedures in the workplace, for example as fire wardens or fire marshals. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the responsible person to appoint and provide adequate training for one or more ‘competent persons’ to assist with fire safety in the workplace.If requested, delegates can participate and also experience a hands on approach to extinguishing real live fires within the initial training– in controlled conditions – to gain a greater knowledge and understanding of what basic skills / knowledge and safety assessments are required in fire extinguisher if called upon to have to use one. Principles of Risk Assessment Levels 2 & 3 The level 2 risk assessment course has been designed for those in small to medium businesses to enable them to conduct risk assessments as set out in line with the HSE requirements with 5 or more people in the workplace.
