Pinoy-made app ClanBuzz now available on Google Play CLANBUZZ is a cross-platform mobile messaging app for small groups of family, friends or employees.

Davao-based IT-BPO firm Mynd Consulting has launched an Android app called ClanBuzz over the weekend, June 21, 2014. It is a simple, private messaging app which is aimed for couples, families, barkadas and groups of employees. Basically, you create “clans”, invite whomever you want and enjoy the features of the app. The group of developers behind ClanBuzz is managed by Ms. Myrna Padilla, an OFW-turned-successful entrepreneur in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. She was a domestic worker for over 20 years and when she come home to the country, she believed instead of going abroad, jobs should be created here so that brothers, sisters and parents no longer have to be away from their families. This is how Mynd Consulting started. Many years later, Mynd is now equipped with few of the best software programmers and developers in the country serving clients abroad, as well as creating mobile applications. A few months ago, the OFW Watch mobile app was released for both Android and Windows Phone formats. Right now, Mynd has begun rolling out its newest creation – ClanBuzz. It is currently on its BETA stage and will eventually be available for iOS and Windows Phone as well. ClanBuzz lets you create your own clan and invite whomever you want in it. Simply connect your profile to your Facebook and Google Plus account and invite your contacts. Create a clan with people that share the same interests that you have, check-in on a custom location on the map and see if you have fellow clan members around your area. This is great if you want to set up impromptu meet-ups with your fellow clan members. Take note that all clans are private and one needs an invite in order to be part of an existing clan. This way, you are connected with people that you either now, or share common interests with. ClanBuzz also has a web-based version where you can access some of the app-version’s features right at your desktop.
