    The particles are quantified by applying the measured ultrasound signal and flow information to an algorithm.

    Quantifying the Signal

  • ULTRASONIC INTELLIGENT SENSORS

    By filtering the acoustic signal it is possible to remove most of the signal not being particles, and still keep an extremely high sensitivity to particles.

    An ClampOn DSP-06 Particle Monitor measures in real time- the ultrasound generated by particles hitting the wall of a pipe, normally in/after a bend.

    By accurate calibration of the sensor it is possible to convert the measured ultrasound to a quantitative measurement of sand.

    The ClampOn DSP-06 Particle Monitor processes all data digitally within the sensor itself (patented technology) to achieve an optimum signal-to-noise ratio, without influence from other noise sources.

    ClampOn DSP Leak Monitor

    The ClampOn Leak Monitor has been developed for identification and quantification of leaks from critical areas, primarily valves.

    Can also be used on flanges, bends, joints etc.

    How it Works

    A leak produces a high frequency sound that is very different from flow noise or background noise.

    This leak noise is picked up by the Leak Monitor and the signal is then processed and converted into useful measurements i.e. litre/min in the Leak Monitor software.
