and officer had made some significant issues relating to operational and marketing weakness illPLl and RPL[ business, The Minister had desired that necessary action should be initiated so as(0 overcome these problem areas.

In view of the above, the four major issues raised and action to be taken are listed below forfurther action bv the Circles:

3. Absence of trained officials in ere which leads to delay in policy servicing: All thedivisions must be instructed to identify the trained manpower to ensure that CPC isconstantly manned. As seen in the past, the last quarter of the financial yecn, generatesenhanced PU and RPU business and the CI'C must be equipped with adequatemanpower to service the policy holders and marketing and sales team. All Divisions musthave a marketing and technology SPOC for I'Ll-RPLl functions to assist the Divisional

head4!. Better Operational Monitoring at all levels: The operational parameters for monitoring

of the CPC at Division level as per the Citizen Charter has to be undertaken. A copy of thelatest Citizen Charter of PLl and RPU is annexed CIS Annexure- 3 of this letter. f\monitoring plan of CPC was recommended for aJl cre during the postal Week andinJormation sought from all the Circles. Only one circle has sent the required report. It isrecommended that this monitoring be undertaken for all the Divisions to improve theoperational efficiency of the CPe. It is requested that the required report on the CPCsought vide I'Ll Directorate letter no. 28-02/2016-U dated 25.09.2017 of PLl Day may be
