Motion by Gilezan, supported by Bidigare, that the CityCouncil concur with the recommendation of the Acting CityAdministrator, City Comptroller, and the Finance Committeein their Minutes dated August 24, 1992, concerning BudgetAmendment #92-02, and TRANSFER $12,500 from the General FundContingency Account to the Community Center EquipmentAccount ($2,500) for decorating expenses, and to the CityHall and Grounds Account ($ 10 , 000 )

for the MunicipalBuilding signage.

THE MEETING WAS THEREUPON OPENED AT 7:37 P.M. FOR A PUBLICHEARING TO HEAR THE APPEAL OF LOURDES LA BARCENA, 23222MARTER ROAD, ST. CLAIR SHORES, WHO IS APPEALING THE DENIALOF THE BUILDING INSPECTOR TO ISSUE A BUSINESS LICENSE FORGLOSS THE NAIL, 20947 MACK AVENUE, GROSSE POINTE WOODS. THECLASSIFICATION FOR BEAUTY SALONS WITHIN THE CITY OF GROSSEPOINTE WOODS HAS REACHED ITS MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE LIMIT,THEREFORE THE APPLICATION WAS DENIED. A HARDSHIP VARIANCEIS THEREFORE REQUIRED.
