Akanksha Puri is not a known face in Bollywood as she has done number of movies down South. Though none of her movie emerged as a hit film, Akanksha Puri received wide applause for her performance all over. She has impressed as a model during her initial days after which she has shifted her focus to films. She made her movie debut with Tihar in 2014 through a Tamil movie. The movie could not fare well at the ticket window but Akanksha received good applause. Her stuning presence along with her performance has been appreciated. She has then tested her luck in Malayalam with Praise The Lord but received the same bad result commercially. She has established a huge fan base and she has signed back to back movies post Praise The Lord. Her next movie Amar Akbar Anthony in Malayalam has completed shoot recently and is gearing up for release in October this year. She has also wrapped up the shoot of Lodde, a Kannada movie which will release in July. Her recent movie Samrajyam 2 Son of Alexander released recently and it has been receiving decent response from the movie lovers. Akanksha Puri has not lost her confidence as an actress and she has been signing films. She has roped in to play one of the main lead in A Bollywood project titled Calendar Girls. Critically acclaimed and National Award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar directed the movie and Akanksha has pinned huge hopes on the film. The movie has completed shoot and Akanksha has huge plans with this movie. Calendar Girls has been slated for a huge release on August 7th all over. Calendar Girls movie revolves around the models who gain popularity after featuring in famous calendars. It is a story about five such women who have their one year glory and then they disappear. The movie has been produced by Madhur Bhandarkar on Madhur Bhandarkar Entertainments along with UTV Motion Pictures. Avani Modi, Kyra Dutt, Ruhi Singh and Satarupa Pyne played the other lead roles in the film.

The movie minted huge money and Pulkit Samrat received good recognition with his movie. This handsome young actor has signed back to back movies after this which made him one of the leading actors among the youngsters who are building up their career. Salman Khan who always steps forward in encouraging the fresh talent has offered him a cameo as a Police Inspector in his film Jai Ho.

Then he played lead in O Teri produced by Atul Agnihotri, opposite Bilal Amrohi and Sarah Jane Dias. In 2015, his first film was Arbaaz Khan’s Dolly Ki Doli opposite Sonam Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao. Samrat married long-time Mumbai-based girlfriend Shweta Rohira, on 3 November 2014 in Goa. Rohira, a Sindhi, is Salman Khan’s rakhi sister and a former journalist who runs her own boutique. The wedding was attended by Salman Khan and his family.

He has been roped in to play one of the lead roles in Bangistan, which is an upcoming satirical film based on comedy along with Ritesh Deshmukh in the other lead role. The movie has been directed by Karan Ashuman and the movie has completed shoot recently. Ritesh Sidwani and Farhan Akhtar produced the movie on Excel Entertainments which will release on July 31st all over. The film follows the lives of two blundering terrorists on a mission to change the world. Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat play the young guns with lofty ideologies but ordinary talent who keep pace with a series of serendipitous high-energy, fast-paced, and exceptionally entertaining events that have a huge impact on world peace.

The Most Refreshing YoungsterPULKIT SAMRAT

Pulkit Samrat is one of the most promising youngsters

in the younger generation of Bollywood. He has established

a strong fan base among the youth and he has been working

with big production houses for his current projects. He made

his debut as a model in his early days after which he had tested

his luck in TV. Pulkit Samrat got great recognition as Lakshya

Virani for the popular show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. He then made his debut

with Bittoo Boss in 2012 in which he played the role of a wedding videographer from Punjab. The movie could not do well but he

has not given up.

Pulkit Samrat is also playing the lead role in Sanam Re, a romantic entertainer and Yami Gautham is playing the female lead in the movie. Divya Khosla Kumar who earlier directed Yaariyan is helming the project and Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ajay Kumar are producing the movie on Tips Films. The movie has been slated for release on February 12th 2016. Pulkit has pinned huge hopes on his current projects and is in plans to make his place prominent in Bollywood with these movies.
