Greetings in Jesus
I, Nathanael Chace, on behalf of YWAM Azua and New Creations
Cinematography Bible School am so
excited to bring you this unique opportunity to be a part of
something amazing. In November of 2012, we
will be undertaking the challenge of teaching cinematography and
the Bible to hungry students from Haiti,
the Dominican Republic, America, and around the world. It is our
desire to create a unique environment
where each of these students will be able to grow in spiritual
depth and maturity while learning the ins and
outs of film-making.
TheVision of the school is To bring glory to God through film,
and see the hearts of people changed in the
school, in the nation of Haiti, and around the world.
Specifically:
Run a school where the students are given the potential to be
taught in all aspects of movie makingfrom cinematography, acting,
costume design, to post production, effects, lighting, sound
engineering
etc.
Create a movie that relates to Haitian culture in their Creole
language with mostly Haitian actors. A movie that reveals the
character of God through His attributes like love, forgiveness,
and
reconciliation.
Distribute this movie throughout Haiti, and broadcast it on
Haitian television. Create a Christ centered community where we
positively effect each other, and those that are
brought into the community.
Bring solid Biblical teachers to continue to give the students
an opportunity to dig deeper into theword of God, and continue
building upon the foundational teachings of the DTS.
The school will run for one year and have five phases. The
phases will consist of lecture and teaching as well
as practical application of on-location filming, and pre/post
production experience. I would deeply encourage
you to consider how you could partner with us as we undertake
this incredible endeavor. We are trusting
God that He will provide the connections needed for us to make
this school a success, and are thankful for
any way that God would have you partner with us.

How You May HelpIf this is resonating with your spirit and you
are interested in partnering with us than listed below are
several of our needs.
Prayer Support for the school, the students, the teachers, the
finances, and the coordinators Monetary Donations to cover expenses
like electricity, gas, vehicles, and internet (see chart below).
Equipment including Apple Computers w/ Final Cut Pro X, HD Cameras,
Boom Mics, Green Screen,
Lighting, and everything else that is needed to create a state
of the art movie.
Teachers or Students that are passionate about working in film,
and are gifted in a particular field.We would love to host students
that are studying media communications, and give them a chance
toapply what they have been learning in college, and an opportunity
to teach via short-term (14 24
day) missions trips. In this time, I believe meaningful, lasting
relationships will be formed, and the
experience and opportunity to serve here is priceless.
Teachers or Students who have completed a SBS or another Bible
School or who are passionateabout unearthing the treasures of
scripture and teaching our students how to do the same.
