>Veterinarians take care of sick and injured animals.
>Their kind of Like doctors, they perform surgery and give medicine to animals they give blood tests, x-rays, and other tests, finding out a way why the animal got sick.
>Vets decide what kind of medicine or treatment an animal needs.
>They prevent problems by giving vaccinations and check-ups.
>They also teach owners how to feed and train their animals.
>Vets fix broken bones, take out tumors, replace knees and hips, andother things.
• Most vets treat small pets, including dogs, and cats. But a few focus on big animals.
• most vets who take care of small pets work in animal clinics and hospitals.
• A few work in large hospitals with the most advanced equipment like to do surgery on the animals.
• Another job a vet can do is doing scientific research.
• They try to make new medicines to help animals. Vets work in many different places.
• Vets who do research work in clean, dry laboratories
• Vets can work as animal inspector, checking to make sure that farm animals are healthy and that their living spaces are clean
• Large-animal vets usually drive to ranches and stables where their patients live.
• They check for infections in the animals and give advice to the animals' owners.
• Vets help when the animals give birth. • Some vets work in zoos or aquariums. • They take care for zebras, sharks, and other wild
animals.
The Education and/or Requirements to become a
Veterinarian:• All veterinarians need to go to college, which
usually takes 4 years. • They have to study Biology, Chemistry, Physics,
Nutrition, and Animal Science. • They also need to take Math and English classes.
After college, veterinarians take a test and get a license. (you have to have very good grades)
• Vets often work long hours. But because some animals are scared or hurt, they sometimes try to bite, kick, or scratch the vets.

Why I would like to become a veterinarian…
• the reason why i would like to do this in the future is because you get to be with animals all day long. I love science and math. I really think his job career it very interesting and it sound really great !!!
