There are over 4,000 chemicals found in cigarettes here are the names of some : Benzene , tar , rat poison , formaldehyde , ammonia , acetone , Carbon monoxide , nicotine. Those are names of the

harmful poisons that are put in cigarettes.

Rat poison- a deadly poison(NOT FOR HUMANS).

Acetone- also found in nail polish remover.

Methanol- component of rocket fuel.

Ethanol-alcohol.

Stearic acid- found in candle wax.

Chemicals are added to tobacco because tobacco is one of the ingredients to cigarettes! There are other reasons to why there are ingredients in tobacco but there are way to many to count.
