It has come to an end with grand luxurious consumption. now we show careful consideration when we go shopping for clothes. It has nothing to do with headlong impuls shopping or chas-ing designer items. We now carefully consider our purchases or long term investments. there is a thought behind, on where to spend the money. It is no longer called ”going shopping”, you purchase or invest. and the ostentatious ”must have”-bags are being exchanged for eco linen or canvas nets, as ethical moral/responsibility has become the new symbol of glamour. therefore, you could actually be an elegant eco activist, as quality and good design belong to the new values.after a long period in the sign of materialism, where the con-sumption has been the driving force in society, we have become much more aware of which choices we make in life and how our consumption patterns influence on the state of the world.the new decade has just only begun and we are on our way from being a consumer society to become a consideration society. We are in the process of changing lifestyle, values and habits in a distinctive settlement with the use-and-throw-away culture. the development happens in a breathtaking speed,

with the good support of social medias like Facebook, twitter and historical events like the financial crisis. Experience CIFF trend universethe CIFF trend team welcomes you to the new season in Hall C4, where we have built four trend houses. they will be representing the tendencies for the season, in order to create an overview of the look, which will characterise the winter fashion 2010/11. the four trend themes Body Performance, Rustic Roots, Dark Poetry and tradi-twist are being introduced here in the catalogue and of course also presented on CIFF´s daily trend shows. they will be on show twice a day – at 11.00h and 14.00h.

untarily shipwrecked, to create one’s own civilization, far from the restraints of urban

world ? Our imaginations drawn to Easter Island, to the legendary shores of Hawaii, and

then to inventing a new kind of aesthetic.

COLOR RANGE / A color range veering towards a new, wild state. We discover brown-

ourselves in a luxurious, abundant green vegetation. And we add bright accents to the

palette, inspired by coral, fish and tropical flora.

air. We crop proportions by rolling up pant legs or pushing up sleeves. In a creative recy-

cling mood, we manufacture a Robinson Crusoe attitude for a shifted, exotic look.

clothes for an improvised, salvaging mood. Washed out, neo military jacket.
