From Your Pastor: Patrick Blackmon Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.” Philippians 4:4 Church family we have so many reasons to rejoice. First and foremost, we rejoice because our names are wrien down in heaven. Secondly, the Lord has given us another day to live. I read this week, while we sll have breath, we should believe that Jesus has work for us to do”. Are you rejoicing today? I am excited about the next few months for us as a church and the opportunies the Lord is giving us. Starng March 3rd, we will kick off our JAM ministry at its normal me 6:30 pm. Then on Saturday, March 13th at 8:00 am we are corporately serving together at Buford Elementary School. On this day we will put down borders, mulch and plant flowers. We will have food, fun (of course) and fellowship. I encourage you to join me even if it is only for a lile while, or if you want to come supervise. Also, on Saturday, March 27th our Womens Ministry will host a Womens Day of Encouragement. This will be a sweet me of fellowship and encouragement. Please invite your friends to come be a part of this day with you. Last of all, I need your help for our Easter outreach on Friday, April 2nd. We will host a glow in the dark MEGA EGG HUNT. I am asking you to volunteer that evening and help provide candy for the goodie bags. Our Trunk or Treat last October was a huge success and we are praying this outreach event will be also. Please be in prayer for these events this month. Who can you be intenonal with? Will you use one of these opportunies to invite your family and friends? I sure look forward to this coming month. Finally, I want to encourage our men to join us for our First Mens Retreat. This will be held May 14-15 at Camp Pinehill for teenage young men and adults. The cost is $20 and includes your meals and lodging. Church family, I love each of you and I look forward to what the Lord will do through these events and our church family in the month to come. Pastor Patrick From Your Youth Pastor: Zach Byrd Greengs church family! With all of the rain we have been blessed with in the past month, I have been reminded of the promise and the symbol that God first gave to Noah and his family (Genesis 9:12-15). The promise, that sll stands today is God will never judge the enre earth with a great flood again. The symbol God uses to remind us of His promise is the rainbow we see beaufully displayed in the sky from me to me. God must have known about our tendency to forget His promises because He gave us many ways to remember them. He gave us history, He gave us creaon and He most importantly gave us His Word. Whenever you are tempted to doubt His goodness or His faithfulness, look backward to the past, look forward to the creaon and look intently in His Word. Since God is true to His word and has faithfully blessed us here at BBC, I am pleased to inform you about a few upcoming events for the month of March. We will be having a church wide work day on Saturday, March 13th. I hope you will plan to help us as we seek to minister to our schools and community in tangible ways. Also our upcoming summer camp deposit of $50 will be due on March 24th. Connued…... Volume 21 Issue 3 March, 2021 Bethlehem Baptist Church 1841 N. Rocky River Rd.
