Addi'onal forms are available in the rear of the church. Students in grades 1-8 are required to aOend classes unless they aOend Catholic School. ⇒ Please remember to complete a ‘Mass AEendance Slip’ and hand it to Father at the end of Mass each weekend. If you aOend Mass at another parish, just bring a bulle'n from that parish to mass with you the next 'me you aOend here.

Moms and Dads, remember religious educa'on does not end with the close of classes. You are s'll responsible for you child/children's Faith Forma'on; you are their

primary religion teacher. Teach them prayers and talk about your faith. Please see that they aOend Mass with you. We need their energy, enthusiasm and presence!

Some random thoughts by the pastor… Jesus said to his disciples: ‘I have much more to tell

you, but you cannot bear it now.’ We don’t like to hear that we can’t have everything now. The Trinity (also known as the Godhead) – like any rela'onship – is fluid. The difficulty that we oRen face is that something that is fluid is never the same! The Godhead, someone once said, is like puKng our hand in a running stream. The water is the same and always different. Much of life too is fluid. It appears the same – or maybe we want it to appear the same – and constantly changing. We cannot relate in love – as God relates – unless we are willing to also be fluid. God is good.

Parish updates: A regional mee'ng of parishes took place on May 11th. There are presently five (5) out of the ten (10) parishes in some stage of dialogue. (As I men'oned last week…Saint Mary, Saints John & James, & CTK will begin a dialogue on June 15

th.) We

will be installing signs at the parking lot entrance that will tell the public that the lot is a ‘No Thru Traffic’ zone. Hopefully, all of the combining of the installed posts & chain, and the signs will reduce the number of vehicles that use the parking lot to avoid the traffic light.

We are most grateful to Doreen McConaghy & Donna Bosworth for coordina'ng the efforts of many parishioners so that we could have another enjoyable May Breakfast. We also are very grateful to the Scout Troop for volunteering their 'me and energy!
